  1. All the people who had passion for the Cyberpunk project left over time leaving their work to a bunch of less experienced people. It was always going to turn into a disaster because of this.

  2. >I had a dream. It was my pop’s 100th birthday. I give him a present, that mellifluous Cyberpunk 2077 box. He opens it. That gaze of absolute disappointent. There’s a nothing in it. “Fill it up", he says. "Come back when I’m 200.”

  3. the game was a piece of garbage and it’s lucky it got off with only bad reviews because I had half a mind to go down to Poland and kick the shit outta those devs

Yea it’s OK waste of time for few evenings. But it’s not worth paying the asking price and don’t expect anything deep or revolutionary. Cliche jokes, shallow story and blatant fan service romances.

Won’t change much, you’ll just get decent FPS. Most of problems are logical (missing map data, conflicting triggers), not performance oriented and besides quest locations and people models most stuff looks like HI-Def mod pack for GTA3.

Like, the resolution and polygon count up close is high, but it lacks the qualities, natural wear and placement to feel believable and detailed. I think it’s because they use limited set of textures to and shaders to blend into multiple materials, so most detail will look like left sample.

    • pirate it, I didn’t pay for it and was surprised. Admittedly do not go in expecting a GTA experience, don’t bother trying to shoot up civs or expecting a deep game world. If you play the story, gigs and side missions it’s a good crack

    • its fine, treat it as a linear game and just play the main story and the side quests that have relatiuon to the main characters, theyre pretty great, the soundtrack is good too

the open world is kinda shit and not worth bothering with, alot of the rpg elements are also stupid and unnecessary, its a 6-7/10, so yes, good for a playthrough, especially with a good PC since its eyecandy

    • It is one of the most amazing games i’ve played. It literally gave me the feels.

P.S. anyone who hates on the game is a chud 4chantard that is dead inside and can’t appreciate true kino.

  4. Keanu also makes the narrative retarded. The only way it really works is if V is a goodie two shoes or a neutral observer. That way Keanu is the devil. But the game wants both characters To have their cake and eat it too. Both V and Johnny have to be redeemed so neither serve their purpose. Seeing Keanu as a depraved rockstar who fucked everyone over would’ve provided a solid point of reflection for V. The lore and story is a ball of string just flopped into a pile and shoved off into the corner.

  5. For one thing, during development it evolved from an rpg into action/adventure. Then they made Keanu a main quest character. That’s why I’ll never play it.

  6. It wasn’t that bad but it’s never going to get better because muh bugs sucked all attention of the devs towards that instead of tweaking or changing more core aspects of the game and also no mod support means fans can’t chime in.
