Dark Souls: PTDE

>Steam codes are 300$-400$ or higher
Fascinating

Did any of you miss out on PTDE that regret it? Or do you feel the remaster is fine?
It's also disappointing seeing PTDE no longer has functioning online.

I can't imagine why the codes are worth anything. They're the same game.

Its the novelty of it that people want

      >any of you miss out on PTDE that regret it
OMG he's thinks he "missed out" forever should we tell him?

Na leave him be, the goyim don't deserve to know

I've always had PTDE, I just haven't bought the remaster

If you want novelty, and not to say that you do, play the PS3/360 disc versions of the game unpatched. Tons of stuff was changed. It's safe to say PTD newbros didn't actually play Dark Souls, but the casualized version.

Yeah bro, PTDE losers played a casual easy-mode game.

Us 1.00 chads beat the “true dark souls”

          > ninja flips in full Havels
          > absolutely busted lighting infusion that outdanages every other option by a huge margin, while also needing 0 stat investment past requirements

Remaster is legit the worst way to play the original game.

Switch ironically is the best. The PC/Console remaster breaks animations, graphics, effects and loads of shit. If you fatroll/ninja flip you can see your feet breaking, don't animate properly, NPC's turn their whole body to look at you rather than just their head. It's legitimately broken and bastardised From's original vision.

Switch remaster however, is the original game untouched but bug fixed and steady framerate and quality of life stuff added with no actual graphical/animation glitches.

PTDE on PC is the best way to play if you're willing to have no online.

It's pretty sad. The game needs a full blown remake at this point.

Switch version is missing tons of audio effects. Also stuck at 30fps.

Best way to play is PC ptde with DSfix. If you can’t access that, then it’s either remastered for smooth gameplay but some fricked up visual effects, or ps3/360 for completely perfect graphical/audio, but Jesus frick it’s 10fps in Blighttown.

I went back to PTDE recently and man it looks so old now
Sad because it's still way better than the remaster

I like how old it looks, it really contributes to DS1's atmosphere of an ancient world becoming even more lost to time
Sprucing it up with more lighting and colors doesn't do the atmosphere any service

There's no reason to buy it over remastered. I have PTDE because I actually played Dark Souls, which I recently found out that a lot of people have no played it until the remaster came out and it got a pop because of DSIII being a huge hit.

The PTDE people are unhinged contrarians who don't know what they're talking about.

Have PTDE on PS3 and remaster on PS4, minor visual stuff, 60FPS without slightly fricking with the physics (60FPS on PC PTDE makes you not able to get power within and makes you clip through the bottom on a ladder or two), and a really easy consumable item dupe bug patched is all there really is to the remaster. If you desperately want PTDE on PC why in the frick would you consider paying scalpers for a code? Just pirate at that point.

How did they get away with this? DS has been one of the most influental games of recent times and you can even play the proper version of it

Normalgays don't hold the industry accountable for anything. Its how we got to this point in the first place.

Neither do any of you morons. The industry got this way because everyone let it.

          Nah, frick you.
I don't buy AAA slop or support these practices. "Voting with your wallet" doesn't work anymore because you're outnumbered 20 to 1 with normalgays and zoomers. Who buy up everything without question, and only complain about a game AFTER they've given them money.

Listen here, you apathetic c**t. If you genuinely gave a shit about the state of the industry, you'd have done something 17 years ago, when the steady decline first started.
Instead you're here, complaining like a fricking homosexual about "AAA slop" and cursing those darn normalgays for ruining yer vidya. Fricking news flash, buddy: you're part of the problem.
Sit there in your overburdened computer chair and marinate in the fate you helped create.

Literally all of your responses are "nuh uh" tier. I could tell you 17 years ago I didn't buy the horse armor DLC, you'll just pull another "nuh uh" and strawman again.
What is even the fricking point in writing responses like that?
You sound like a corporate shill, defending these billionaire dollar companies from complaints by some meany anonymous posters.

It's funny hearing PC players talk like they ever had the original Dark Souls experience when they never got to do stuff like Lost Izalith or Capra Demon pre-nerfs.

I have PTDE but I play Remastered because it runs smoother in blight town than ptde with dsfix, also online.
