Not that guy but Doom on VB would have almost certainly made me throw up. Someone made a mock up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QMtyQBe5fc
And someone else made a Faceball 2000 clone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRD88wOLKn4
Either way VB had a lot of potential. Would have loved a real Starfox or Battletank sequel.

64 was very successful outside of Japan and the Caliphate's ghettos. Its games and play contro is still very inspirational in both of those regions, though.

Look at the sales numbers compared to the competition.

Not being the market leader doesn't mean it failed. If it made a profit, it's a successful product.

It was a flop in Europe too. US is about the only territory it did well.

Substitute the right d-pad for the C-buttons.
Then add a another leg in between the the left and right.

The Virtual Boy controller was ahead of it's time. It's like a 1990s interpretation of a modern VR controller.

yes, i bought one on Ebay because I thought it was an N64 controller. It just looks so similar that I got them mixed up. When i received the controller I thought Virtual Boy might have been the name of the previous owner and he wrote it on his controller so people would know it was his, bit it was not. When I tried playing an N64 game it said to press the Z button, but there was no Z button, I thought perhaps I had to buy the Z button separately, but this was not the case. But what really gave it away was that I could not plug it in to the N64, this was when I realised that it was not an N64 controller and that it possibly might have been for some kind of N64 "special edition" console instead
