I don't remember her being a dyke. did they change her with an update to the Director's Cut?
to be fair if you know anything about Shadowrun then you know that dragons are fricking critical to the setting.
Marta wasn't in the original game? she's a key character for the quest.
ooooh right. fair enough. still doesn't mean Glory's a dyke since she was getting railed by the cult leader and whoever he let rail her.
the big question is: does she even still have a vegana? You can't even tell if she has cyberlegs because of her pants.
Well, since your Essence can't go below 1 in-lore, and just getting 2 cyberlegs, an eye, and a brain data jack basically gets you down to 1.5, I think it's safe to assume her legs are still normal.
Yeah the whole "the butthole dragons were actually keeping an even worse threat at bay all along" thing kinda shows up out of nowhere if you're not already familiar with the setting.
went in 100% blind and decided to say frick the dragons, give humanity the ability to choose its own destiny. Found out the hard way that was the wrong choice.
I know nothing about the lore and played the game blind. I can't remember specifics, but the game does hint killing her will have consequences.
It does but it made it sound like killing those consequences would just be some chaos due to the end of the current status quo world order enforced by the dragons so I thought to hell with it, never did I think the dragons were actually the sole barrier stopping horrors from another dimension from wiping out humanity.
She's bi.
Wish they included quests for the player based on their choices when questioned about their background. I remember one of them was getting betrayed by a previous Shadowrunner so I thought they were gonna show up when I chose that option.
>he didn't climb the mountain
I'm not into she-trolls.
you gay or something
I'd love a new Shadowrun game man
Ok but CDPR will make it.
🙁
works for me
genuinely better than hbs
I dunno, dragonfall was lightning in a bottle but the original (remake) and hong kong were shit in a tin can.
Tough to say if they can capture the lightning again especially now that competent writers are all banned from the industry.
Hong Kong is better than Dragonfall though.
I actually like the writing in HK better. The companions are more interesting and it is the one that best conveys the feeling of actually working in the criminal underground. The antagonist was legit scary once she showed up.
But it bothered me that they have to shoehorn yet another 'rescue the world' (sort of) plot into the game. A simple revenge plot would have been perfectly fine and fit the whole setting and narrative better. One last big job, go on the hunt for Josephine Tang. It would have been so easy, as Auntie Cheng as well as you yourself would have had a motive. And then you could still have plenty of choices; betray auntie, kill Josephine, extort money, double crossing, return to normal life with Raymond, whatever. Plenty of interesting choices that perfectly fit the setting. Instead you gotta rescue the world (sort of) again.
I thought the eldritch horror was cool.
I like eldritch horror or any mythic thing too. But I don't like the story is about saving the world.
Hong Kong unironically has too many words. It's almost a VN.
HK DLC also great. I really liked that you could say frick it in the end just return to normal life or to say that you are actually into this Shadowrun shit and stay. The only thing that felt a little artificial was that it pissed off Duncan so hard. Whats really the issue to give him his ID back while remaining underground yourself? But I did choose to return to normal life, because frick that Kindly Cheng. Unlike The protagonists of Returns and Dragonfall were both Shadowrunners already when those games started. Duncan and SHK Protagonist’s lives as Shadowrunners have not really been a particularly good representation of the freedom of living life in the shadows. They’re allowed to take jobs on the side, but ultimately, they answer to Kindly Cheng as their master, again as a result of circumstances beyond their control more than any choice.
I liked all 3.
me too buddy
Hong Kong was also really good though, possibly even better than Dragonfall. Returns was indeed garbage though, it's actually shocking that both sequels turned out so good after Returns was such a huge dissapointment.
who cares she had cyber claws and absolutely dominated the battlefield after a certain point. luv me glory simple as
Is this worth finishing?
Depends, how far in are you?
Dragonfall is the best of the three, yeah it's worth it.
Yes, the endings are sublime.
Lesbians aren't real, they're traumatized.
If she kills the spirit you can take her out to grab coffee maybe pick the right option next time Black person
which shadowrun is best?
Dragonfall
Hong Kong, don't listen to that other guy
Magic system is shit. Frick the cooldown. Where is the drain system?
>Quickness
>Range Combat
>Rifle
Yep, it's shadow running time. Spells just aren't as satisfying as guns in these games (except for those spells that are basically grenades). Mages are always just support. I've never made an Adept though, but melee is also pretty unsatisfying in this game.
if you stand on a ley line you can hit a bunch of enemies in a single spell.
>game has no romance
>people complain they didn't get to score
lol
