Do I have to be someone who grew up playing Blizzard games to understand why people still give them money despite the fuck up after fuck up?

Imagine being this obsessed with a company. Blizzchads win again, enjoying a great game for only 15$ a month while the haters seethe into the void.

I grew up playing their games, and that said, they don't even offer the games I grew up with anymore. WarCraft 1 and 2, and Diablo 1 is entirely forgotten and Blizz is a completely different company now. They've become more like the Marvel of the videogame industry when they used to be more like Wizards of the Coast. If anything, growing up with Blizz makes you much more likely to see through and be disgusted with them currently as a company. Last time I gave them money was a couple months with WoW Classic. Wrath of the Lich King was my absolute high point with them and I won't even go back for WLK Classic. Only consoomer drones like

I played some of their games growing up, but I'm still able to give them money because I'm older and don't buy into the weekly outrage against them. I play the games that I want.

are brainless enough to enjoy their current lineup of soullessness.

no, just look at every other pile of crap game people are spending hundreds on these days. people are addicted to mmorpgs and gambling, blizard does both.

I grew up playing their games, but pirated 99% of it besides the brief time I played WoW during vanilla. Never gave them money since.

No. I grew up playing brood war and loved all things blizzard back in the day but thats also because they were amazing back then. Starcraft 2 and destroying OW as quickly as they could is where they really began to fail as a company. Its been a free fall since. Im old but not dumb. Ill never understand giving them money at this point.

I grew up with Blizzard. I could never forgive them for Diablo 3 and haven't touched their shit since.

Unironically yes. You will never understand the few years where they put out Brood War, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, and World of Warcraft. Wings of Liberty was the last game that even resembles the old company, and that was over a decade ago. It's hard to accept that that company is gone.

Wrong, that was Heroes of the Storm.

Its chinks and nerdy blizzard fan boys, which every company has plenty of. Nintendo fans somehow think its okay to pay 60 dollars for 10+ year old ports on an underpowered machine. Nintendo is a competent company but that doesn't excuse their gnomish tactics and people slurping up the dog shit Nintendo feeds them but there's a great game released maybe once a year so all is forgiven I suppose lol

what gets me the most is those garden gnomes want me to rent the games I already own once a month instead of just being able to port them over from my wii/wii-u

Got to admit the hubris Blizzard had doing as many Blizzcons as they did. "We barely have any games to show-off, should we not do one this year?" Then Metzen would scoff and tell them that the cocaine is already bought and the tit milk is in the fridge ready to go.

BGs are fun. That's literally all I've ever done in this game for the past 10 years.
Log in, queue BGs, SMASH the other team a couple of times, log out.
Zero raids, zero mythic whatevers, zero story.

they literally died around the release of wow.
That is one of the worst games ever made and no it didnt become bad in mists nor cataclysm nor warlords nor legion nor bfa, it was bad and toxic(the game itself) from the begining.

My first PC game was Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, and I was a long time player of Blizzard games. Even during WoW's shittiest times, I could usually find something to like. Early this year I dropped it, and I really feel no urge to come back for whatever this dragon shit is called. At this point I consider the franchise to be unfixable, it would need to be gutted and rebuilt due to the damage that has been done over the past five years, and at that point I doubt that I would even care.

I was surprised at first when I found out that most of the posters on the Overwatch forums were actually boomers. Then I understood why there were so many bootlickers sucking off the devs and blizzard suits. Of course a bunch of lead-brained aging adults would blindly defend a thing they like and brag about throwing money at it.

Imagine you went to a restaurant and they served you the best fucking steak in your entire life, every single element of the meal was perfect.

Then, one day, they changed management, you go back and they still offer "steak", but it's just not the same anymore. So you try other restaurants and cook yourself, but you can't replicate that one dopamine hit you had all those years ago.
