I do and I don't. I do see Warioland coming back but not by Nintendo. They'll most likely outsource development to a third party. I'd like to see Good Feel take another shot at Wario.

Retro would probably be decent given their trackrecord with Donkey Kong Counry.
Retro could barely get any games out on their own. Also they're western so Metroid and DKC will probably be all they do. Unless you want to reboot Star Tropics.

I wouldn't trust it unless I was the director. Retro has good tech but they lack vision to make good gameplay on their own. The Shiek game that got leaked was retarded waggle to win. A lot of their projects are like that.

afgani is just not doing a good job I'm fucking sorry to say. wario especially he just doesn't sound as gruff as he needs to be, very awkward performance. honestly he sounds like waluigi doing a wario impression, more than wario himself. I really don't think nintendo needed to have him do the martinet thing and voice all of the same characters either, they certainly have enough money to have gotten more than one guy. I'm super not into his performance and don't really know how I feel about him being these characters going forward
He should just be the Luigi voice since it's spot on. His Mario is too inconsistent (sometimes he sounds great but then sounds like bootleg Micket Mouse) and his Wario sounds like an impersonation from a Newgrounds parody.

Just play that stupid Pizza game or that Anton one when that one comes out. Nobody is going to make this game because Nintendo doesn't fund these redundant series. Especially if they don't have anyone available to make it. In fact since they clearly have no interest in making Donkey Kong Country anymore I'd be interested in playing indie Donkey Kong Country clones. They don't make these unless someone interested enough makes a proposal to them they're willing to entertain like Advance Wars.
For Wario I know we'll never get a replacement for Martinet. I just want a voice that fits the character and not sound like a cheap impersonation.
I like Warioworld. It was a nice hybrid of 3D platformer and brawler.
I wish they would at least put Wario in a Super Mario game. Just because Wario has a ongoing mini-game series is no excuse to isolate Wario from the Super Mario games.
wario would've been great as wonder's easy mode character instead of yoshi and nabbit, just keep his warioland moveset and practical immortality and you're set. would be a lot funner to just throw enemies the fuck outta your way
