Chained Echoes had a sort of blue mage guy. It was kind of weird because he was an amnesiac who forgot all of his abilities and eating certain monsters made him remember them. Didn’t seem like there was any rhyme or reason for why he got certain abilities from certain monsters though, but he was a good all around party member.
