I've always been the worst in my friend group at most games by quite a margin, don't know if it's enough to never draw attention, but it's something at least
I'm like mediocre at best in games which given how much time I've spent playing them I'd consider myself pretty bad I'm like GN2 in csgo, plat 1 in valorant, gold in overwatch and it takes me ages to beat any kind of game with serious consequences for mistakes cuz I refuse to save scum, it took me ages to beat FTL and Xcom 2 on normal

This is why you don't play competitive games with randos if you're taking it seriously. Even if you're godly having your entire team dependent on one person is bad strategy.

My favourite in DS is black knights greatsword(ultragreatsword) and in elden ring I don't have a favourite, no weapon really stood out to me :/
Unironically HRT made me dogshit at competitive MOBA and FPS, but way better at Soulsborne
I think it might have something to do with keeping me calmer under attack so I make better decisions, but losing enough reaction time to where it's only detrimental in specific genres and a boon in others

I wish I could play it. Has the best atmosphere and worldbuilding imo. Let's hope for a port/remaster for PC so that activity booms again.

There is literally no reason to be good or improve at games with matchmaking because the matchmaker will always keep you at the same win/loss ratio unless you are in the top 1% of players. Prove me wrong.

I'm okay at games. I'm in a really good spot for being a girl. I'm good enough to not get any scrutiny or typical girl gamer hate, but I'm not good enough for people to assume I'm born a boy. Also, my voice passes well enough that I'm always assumed to be a woman when I speak. I consider myself like the gamer girlfriend that the boyfriend's friend group welcomes because she can keep up so she never drags the group down, but she isn't good enough to make any of the boys feel bad about their skill or lack there of.
My ex-gf is a cis asian girl, but she's very good at games and is better than all the boys she knows and it causes a problem almost every time. Her bf always throws a tantrum when she's better and all his friends throw a pissy fit too when she carries. It's pretty enjoyable to witness.

I suck specifically at FPS games, and 3D games that require knowing where the hell you are and where you're going. When my ex made me play CoD with him I relied on a shotgun because of this, which apparently is a faux pas? lol. Adventure and puzzle games are more my speed. No stress. No competitive nonsense.
