Do you think Blueberry Academy being in Unova is a hint that the BW remakes will feature Tera and be something with more effort into their development than BDSP?

no lol
What do you expect then?
more or less what we got with BDSP with slightly better presentation (emphasis on slightly)
>the blueberry academy project has started!
>Blueberry Academy sank into the ocean!
I wish.
I'll give them a little credit - Legends: Arceus was apparently supposed to be BDSP, but it ended up too different so GameFreak panicked and threw BDSP to a random shit company to make while they reworked Arceus' plot and themes (some of the proof for this includes things like a fully modelled room hidden in the files that is an outright copy of the player's room in DP)
So BW remakes MIGHT not end up dogshit
...Does say something that the one time GameFreak gets ambitious and actually tries at something, they fuck up
>...Does say something that the one time GameFreak gets ambitious and actually tries at something, they fuck up
It says a lot. Notice that SwSh is probably the most rehashy game in the entire series outside of the Wild Area, with by far the least mechanically interesting generational gimmick, but it was technically competent.
Meanwhile SV is their most ambitious game ever and it runs like absolute garbage.

You fucking putz, Masuda made LGPE in 18 fucking months cribbing off Yellow, if they'd WANTED Legends to look like BDSP, they'd have remade Sinnoh ala LGPE|. They didn't, they wanted to further their experience making open world games, after spending the ENTIRE rehash replacement expanding on the open world area they'd added to base SS with SV tentatively planned to be open world, because the old grid-based style of maps and regions was more obsolete than 3DS was at launch.
>the absolute state of reading comprehension on this board
What he said is that PLA was meant to be a DP remake, but the scope drifted, so they retooled it to be something original and brought on ILCA to produce a low-effort cash grab remake since there would still be demand for one.
And what I'm saying is Game Freak decided from the get-go to bin off the remake and work on Legends and SV simultaneously (seriously, you fucks need to learn their dev cycles, even if it iIS just after the fact. New Gens take three years, DLC/other take two max - whole point is to make money for little outlay, not take new gen terms to make a filler game). Because they knew they wanted SV to be open world, thus knew they needed to make a full-title effort to make sure they didn't fuck the new Gen too badly (and however bad you think the game is now, it could have been far worse had they not done Legends to troubleshoot things first).
why do you retards make up shit and try pass it off as that's what happened?
Legends is clearly meant to be it's own game and story.
The players room being cut was obviously meant to be where and how the game starts instead of just floating in a void.

DS emulator and ROMs for $60 each.
Where is it located?
>roms
So people could hack their system and copy the game? Absolutely fucking not because you will own nothing and you will be happy switch online it is
>region is referenced
>”OMG IT MUST BE A HINT AT REMAKES!!!!”
please shut the fuck up
Gen 5 remakes are undeniably next.
This is what people said about Sinnoh before LGPE came out. Shut. The. Fuck. Up.
It is not even guaranteed that the next game will be a remake, nevermind that gen 5 will be the remake. It could be a Legends style game, or something entirely new.
That's not to say that gen 5 isn't possible. It is probably the most likely gen to get remakes. That doesn't make in "undeniable" or in any way certain.
If not gen 5, the other gen I might expect would be gen 2, given that it has been longer since we last got a gen 2 game than a gen 5 game, given that HGSS were the last gen 2 based content. If it is, I really hope it is not a Let's Go game.
Yeah, in Gen 10 dumbass. Every single odd numbered gen seems to bring out the most infantile cockroaches that think a remake release is next when they're actually an entire generation off. Unova remakes will either use Gen 10's gimmick (like 3 with 6) or have no gimmick at all (like 4 remakes).
>muh patterns
doesnt matter
they are gonna be shit too 🙂
Who put sand in your vagina?
Khu already said we'll be getting a brand new game set in Unova with hints to Paradoxes months ago
khu can suck my penis and balls
I have no clue why people think a unova game will be set in past unova.
>unova legendaries are robots in dlc
>said dlc is clearly split between past japan and ambiguous future
A game exploring unovas past would be awful, it doesn't fit unova at all. It's entire identity, themes, and creation were all based around being modern and urban.
A better question is how the fuck is then academy even considered in the region? It's an artificial island in the middle of the ocean. How close is it to Unova that it doesn't just count as international waters? Is it close to mainland but right off the cutoff point of that map, somewhere south/east of mainland? Or is it going to be some kinda retcon?
What the fuck is the cutoff point of regions anyway? Who decides these things? There's land that's literally shared in two regions, and land that's in no regions.
I'm so fucking angry.
Regions like Hoenn and Sinnoh have areas that are basically isolated islands that still count as part of the region, from what we see of Unova, we don't actually go too far off the mainland at all, you can easily stick Blueberry Academy anywhere off the southern / eastern part of Unova's map and it would still likely be closer to the mainland than Hoenn's Battle Frontier or Sinnoh's Pokemon League.
>what we see of Unova, we don't actually go too far off the mainland
Anon... Manhattan is an island.
Decolora Islands
Probably how Hawaii is massively far away from the mainland yet still considered part of America, or how all those island territories even farther away than Hawaii also are considered part of America.
Blueberry Academy seems to be rather modern, so it might've been constructed after B2W2.
>remakes
You mean BW3, right?
There will be no black white remake.
All of Unova will be rebuilt as an open world like Paldea.
Black 3 and White 3
Screen cap this
Seems like while they don’t care too much about lore, they are trying to separate the games into two timelines.
Gen 1-5 + BDSP are in the non-mega timeline, obviously.
Gen 6-9 (even PLA) are in the mega timeline despite 8/9 not having megas. There are references to megas in 9 and since there are also callbacks to hisui and galar they count too
Like how gen 6 had megas in hoenn for gameplay and expanded on it with the lore of two timelines, I am guessing they will do this again with unova and have it be a brand new unova experience and not legends/bw3, though they will probably do another sinnoh remake and do the cool new thing and the safe reused thing again
Gamefreak seems to always want to do the exact opposite of what the fans expect, and khu hinted at “paradox unova”. If we have another gen 6 with two regions happening at the same time, blueberry academy and the terastal phenomenon in unova hints at it
>Gen 1-5 + BDSP
BDSP is in the same timeline as PLA and thus, as SV and XY.
GF couldn't care less about lore or "timelines", get over that idea asap. They make new games and sprinkle in a couple references to old games for the sake of it.
Terastal only occurs in Paldea and has been recently discovered to be in Kitakami as a side-effect of a terastal crystal made mask, and the weaponization of that power (Tera orbs) is only 10 year old.
Terastal outside Terapagos/Ogerpon's crystal areas was probably not a thing when BW took place
it could make sense with the type gems but gamefreak have never made any sense
I predict that it will be included only as far to allow the remakes to be compatible with SV in terms of trading and battling. The campaign will be pretty much like BW, but postgame will involve some blueberry academy "episode" where you'll unlock tera
are there really people with such empty, boring lives that they get their enjoyment from trying to subvert an imageboard dedicated to a children's video games?
i have never seen platinum being called worse than dp
because it’s a Discord narrative that was happening back when BDSP were announced
Will there be a burger stacking mini-game at Blueberry Academy?
They're setting up Terastral to be a worldwide phenomenon
Or they're retconning the gems from Unova.
I doubt it, seeing as how The Indigo Disk specifically takes place in a "Terarium", which implies that it's a Terrarium made possible by Tera energy, and that Tera energy aren't common in the surrounding area, which we now know is Unova.
In what region of the Pokemon world would I live/make my home?
>region with very few fairy type pokemon
>region with ultra linear map and where it is impossible to get stuck
>region without anything competitive
Possibly, since Briar mentions wanting to create the ability to Tera in other regions but that's prob just to explain why they can tera at Blueberry.
But Honey in IoA also mentions wanting to create Dynamaxing in other regions and that didn't happen.
