Fire Emblem and Xenoblade is soulless weeb ship that's cheaply churned out for virgin otakus who are mentally ill and care more about waifus than actual gameplay. Pikmin is the most SOULFUL series Nintendo has and all mainline games are good, and require actual strategy and planning to get good at. You have this funny schizo headcanon that he's somehow possibly butthurt that Pikmin doesn't have the same reach, when his word alone can keep the franchise going. Meanwhile for Fire Emblem in particular it literally almost got axed by a former boomer Nintendo sales executive before Awakening because it was doing THAT poorly. Until, y'know, the waifu eugenics came into play. And yes before some smartass comes in and corrects me I know older FE has had romance before, but the way nuFire Emblem does it is scummy and primarily aimed at Tumblr users. In fact, Tumblr is the only reason Fire Emblem is still even alive today. Now THAT'S pathetic.
