>It's overpriced isn't it
it's okay. there are only 2 or 3 official leverless controllers for PS5 and they're all very expensive. there are much cheaper alternatives but they require some work and additional dongle to have the same compatibility.
GP2040-CE can do PS5 but you need to have a compatible dongle and add a passthrough expansion to your PCB.
if you're only a PC or PS4 player it doesn't matter
don't buy a flatbox, get the newer open_core0 ripoffs
https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006113259563.html
they have a Kitsune ripoff and a larger A4-sized leverless coming on 11/11, they've pretty much killed the market for competitors
Which is the Kitsune ripoff and which it's the A4 leverless that you said? I bought a flatbox not so long ago and after changing the buttons to other ones from aliexpress I'm having a blast. It was 60usd total.
Thanks anon. Any advantages from an open_core0 based leverless? What's the gimmick? Are they better than the Snackbox?

the big thing is the USB expansion port to enable passthrough compatibility. https://gp2040-ce.info/add-ons/ps-passthrough
basically as long as you can plug a device or dongle that is compatible with PS5 or PS4 into the leverless, your GP2040 controller will work with that console. this is a huge feature for tournament play.
also a bunch of cool things like the PCB having a RP2040 chip integrated on it so they can use more of its derivative ports for buttons (like double switchable up-buttons), switches, usb ports etc. >Are they better than the Snackbox?
feature-wise for sure. quality-wise (buttons and case) Snackbox is a very mature and well-engineered product so I'd give them that.
I do, switched from stick and I enjoy leverless a lot better. $300 is a little steep but I think its worth. The start/select and R2/R3 buttons are better than other leverless layouts. Usually on hitboxes or snackboxes, theyre small buttons that are unlabeled. The touchpad acts as a mousepad which I guess is cool. It’s definitely the quietest leverless on the market too. Only downside is that after 3 months my light punch button is starting to lose it’s matte finish and the texture is getting smooth and shiny.
It’s like using a keyboard, pretend the big thumb button at the bottom is like a space bar. Theres multiple ways to do tiger knee. Right, down, right. Another way on player 1 side and you do Down, right, Jump. It feels very fluid.
>arrow keys
Oh that's what it was, this whole time I was wondering what's up with that and somehow never noticed the lack of a stick
I still prefer a common keyboard instead
>Using a cheatbox
I want one, but I haven't moved to playing leverless yet and I don't want to waste the money if I don't like it.
>Razer
It's overpriced isn't it
300 USD plus tip
considering you can get the same shit for 50$ yes
>but my led and branding
the only place razer is remotely cheap is in mice
349,99€.
+20~30€ if you want the Cammy or Chun Li Edition.

Nah, I'm fine with some cheap chink hitbox that I got on aliexpress.
Is it the 50 dollar flatbox? I was thinking of getting one to try a hitbox.

how the fuck do you use it? how do you do tiger knee motions with buttons?

Look forward to seeing your keyboard at EVO.
I don't play at tournyaaments, I don't even play online
The advantage is that you can have your hand on all 4 directions at once and also not break your hand to do it.
It's not cheating it's just a controller. Pad is way closer to cheating then a hitbox since you have two separate input methods.
