I've been playing for a year and a half and I still can't beat ultimate clash
I have been playing for like 4 years and I can't beat it either.
It's a lot easier when you realize using mono teams is worse than using category teams unless you happen to have the right 6 characters to make the specific mono squads.
Do you really think so? I've never bothered with category teams because it seems like the later fights do insane damage if you don't have type advantage
I've beaten every single UC in the last year and a half and have literally never used a mono team.
You just have to somewhat pay attention to the debuffs the enemies are able to get. There's a lot of UC battles where you can straight up just stunlock/seal the enemy that people seem to not realize, or lower their ATK to toddler levels.
I tried using categories but the fact that units intersect between them and that you need more units than usual just makes it easier to use mono teams.
I probably suck though.
The worst part about running categories in UC is keeping track of who goes on what team. Like UI goku, does that fricker go on my Goku Team goku, my Kamehameha team, or my RoU7 team? I can never remember. Don't get me started on the hybrid saiyans either.
Yeah that seems like more trouble than it's worth if you can beat it with mono teams. I do 3 teams of each... 1 stacked super, 1 midish super and 1 extreme and no thought required to see you have all the leaders needed or to make substitutions/improvements
Lmao wut? Mono teams are easier to pick, category teams are useless because the micromanagmented required, plus on top of that mono teams guard and deal more damage.
I've been playing quite a while and will still sometimes get worked if I catch some bad rotations but I make 1 extreme and 2 super teams for each color and then I make another team for the first level (multi type planet namek in my case) so I have 3 full teams for the final boss. it helps to know what weaknesses enemies might have too, like for example if I didn't stun that healing gay imperfect cell on lvl 3 I might not have beaten him.

I usually beat it without worrying about having a sealer/stunner on teams but you at least need some heavy hitters and some units that can dodge/tank or heal and stunning definitely does help with the enemies that heal every round

Take the latest Trunks/Vegeta LR. Any SSGSS Vegeta or SS Trunks (Future) would be able to increases it's SA. If the LR is in it's SSR/UR form then it would be 50% for a TUR instead of 100%. 25% for an SSR. The 1%/5% chance for UR/TURs to level the LRs SA would be 0.5% and 2.5%, round that shit down even and make it where only TURs could increase an LRs SA and it would be 2% only.
Sick of having to burn 10-20 kais anytime a decent JF unit comes out.

They added in another part on leader skills, adding an additional 30% onto the 170%. The most recent LR that came out has this as the leader for example.

Probably, look at the evolution of leader skills the game has. Shit started where it was like 1 or 2 types would get 20% ATK and that's it. They they started adding raw stats and ki, then the 120s came, then the 130s/170s, then the pure 170s, now 170s+30s.
how rare was it to get an actual super attack back in the day? i would imagine it was a pretty uncommon with shit ki linking partners and no ki from leader skills.
A lot of those early characters had SAs at 8-10 ki, but it was pretty awkward. I barely remember that time though - i played for like a month at launch and quit until the 5th anniversary

The way it works is simple. Each KO you get gives you a different amount of points based on advantage/disadvantage and what rarity the cards are. Killing an LR with super disadvantage will give you less points than killing an LR with super advantage. Killing a TUR with advantage will give you less points than killing an LR with advantage.
So on and so forth.
The way the enemy teams are generated is based on your teams overall cost. So the lower your cost, the lower the enemies team cost will be, which means the less amount of LRs/TURs they have, which means the less amount of points you gain.
In the long run it only amounts out to about 10-15k per fight at x30, so it's really not that big of a deal unless you're legitimately going for top 5 in your locals.

I don't do it to save ushers which I have plenty of, more just to save myself the couple taps every time I want to use one. I'd rather just have the enemy pretty much much always stunned and beaten 1st turn without worrying about items

Wrong now maybe there is another universe survival saga leader that I'm not thinking of and if so correct me but he is the only team lead that you can use to fit all the TOP characters on which have some strong ass units.
Hitku himself is super strong and not ki hungry at all you will basically always super with him even if you had no links, but everyone in USS has tournament of power as a link which is +3 ki.
The Dyke units are all pretty good, the teq one and the lr one both could fit on this team well and then you have your share of hits, cabbas, ssbe vegetas and ui gokus. Uss is one of the most stacked teams in the game lol
TEQ Hit, SSBKK Goku, LR Jiren, LR 17&Frieza are all Universal Survival Saga leaders
HitKu works best with TEQ Hit which would be your best bet to get cross universe units for one USS team but that means having several units under a 150% lead
I've never used teq hit or lr jiren but people seem to say they aren't good and there are much better units.

I used 157 ghost ushers to get 23mil with a full LR team. WT happens once every few months, you dont use ushers for any other content, so that's way more than enough time to casually get them in the baba shop. LR team is more consistent than the jaco shitzu team as well
ushers should only be used in the prelims. Double Yenma can be used for the other 3 rounds, it just takes a bit longer.
I'd rather just use an usher. Like you said its quicker
Babas work good as well. You'll still take a pretty decent chunk of damage from normal attacks if you're not paying attention, but it's a good alternative none-the-less.
