They're definitely top 5 with their utility and linkset. The damage is somewhat lackluster for a brand new DFE LR, but being a slot 1 unit, having a medium crit + add chance, stacking, and having all the major common Saiyan links makes up for it.
LR SS3 since he's all I'm missing of group c, a dupe of LR SS3 since I have all of group B, and Namek Vegeta with his nutty stats and gorgeous animations. Group A has a few cool units though, so I wouldn't mind some of them.

The gods don't even transform into Gogeta, he's relegated to just the active skill which sucks. Also, ssj4 is just cooler than the god form.
The only thing the gods are better at currently is their leader skill. But as long as fusions exist which sell like crazy on dokkan, and when they decide to go back to GT and buff gt heroes they can close the gap. still a great unit though

If anything, the fact that SS4 Gogeta doesn't have Fused Fighter is a bit worse when considering that he leads Fused Warriors and Shocking Speed isn't that common in it.

Ss4 Gogeta has dodge too with a 50% chance to dodge and counter supers plus the damage reduction. Gods start out at 30% without rainbow orbs so they require at least 3 to surpass Gogeta in terms of dodging the most important attack being the enemy's super. Dodging normals is only better when it actually avoids real damage and the gods in slots 2 and 3, it is practically useless because with 600k+ defense at the bare minimum both LRs are impervious. The SSJ4s get counter for supers and damage reduction for normals and with 300k+ DEF bare minimum along with 35% damage reduction they cannot be damaged even in slot 1. There is a reason why the devs didn't give them a great chance to counter supers because just bumping up the counter chance shifts the difference in performance to the point where it would just be unfair to the Gods.
And with the harder content nullifying dodge, Gogeta has better defense and tanking ability
Plus with the content getting harder and harder and there will be more dodge nullification from enemies, over time the gods will be worse in the long run
You're forgetting that all dodge-canceling also nullifies SS4 Gogeta's super-counter. Gogeta having damage reduction is still very important there, but in my experience with Red Zone that is NOT enough to save him if Broly or Omega supers before he gets to super. The Gods are legitimately better against Broly because they get type advantage, and are arguably better against Omega because his normals fricking HURT even against extremely high DEF.

You can use a qr scanner app or website but some of the qrs are so shit I couldn't get them to read by feeding the image file to a scanner. If that happens you have to pull up the qr on one screen and then scan that using your camera

He's not even that good in longer events like LGE and LVE, as even with his full passive he can still be one shot by SS4 Goku or SSBE Vegeta. He's a character that was already dated when he released and you will never run him in hard content in the new meta.

Red Zone Broly isn't the only Red Zone fight where you need 500k+ defense. Red Zone Broly just gets shown off as the big bad because it's the hardest (statistically) and because of the bullshit AoE phase. If he didn't have the AoE phase he wouldn't be that much harder than the rest of the MB Red Zone fights.

Frieza doesn't require himself to get hit for his passive to go up. So you can attempt to hide him until he's not such as defensive liability.

They quadruple their defense after super attacking though. Provided you get 20+ ki which is really easy for them.
They aren't that impressive on the stat screen like that because they get a stupid amount of ATK/DEF from their when performing SA/UA part of their passive.
If you get 20+ ki, that 100k defense is suddenly (100k*150%+100k*250%+10% per orb) jumping into the 500k+ range, and that's ignoring the double 30% boose from the actual SA/UA attack effects.
They're dogshit slot 1 units, but that's why the other Goku/Gohan was released like a week later - they're perfect slot 1 units that share 6 links together.
