gamma 1 is a tank that can do really good damage, while gamma 2 is a glass cannon
frieza is legit good but ill agree that the monkeys are better than metal cooler.
Gamma 1 literally has guard for 5 turns and up to 50% dr. He's just a superior version of int bluegeta and can tank nearly anything in the game for those first 5 turns.

Always make sure you get the daily capsule pack then grab whatever deals are available during a Super Sale. That is what is going on right now, you want everything that's orange/yellow colored in the shop before it goes away. Beast and Piccolo will probably overlap with the next big celebration and so there might be another set of super sale packs to get. Whatever you do, do not buy stones at normal prices or any of those packs that don't include stones unless you have a lot of money you don't care about blowing.
If you don't get what you want with the super sale stones, stop spending because the moment you buy stones at normal prices you are trapped. It is set up this way on purpose to get you into that "just one more pack" mindset. Just one more will turn into 10 more really quickly. This literally always happens to everyone and even though the devs deny it and it may even be illegal, there is so much evidence to support the fact that your summon rates are affected by how much and how frequently you spend money. I am speaking as someone who has fallen for it before, I got shafted on Pan's banner. Did not pull a single copy until I bought stones at the normal price. That's like find a cup of water in the desert, you will think there has to be more nearby and they prey on that.

The deals right now do suck because this is the tail end of an already pretty crappy celebration but they are still deals. You're saving a pretty penny by getting them in the long run. The optimal way to spend money in this game is to know what you're saving up for and buy all the sales throughout the year so by the time it comes up, you have a wealth of stones to dump. You want to always be ready for a banner you like to pop up basically.
I know this is kind of a last minute decision for you but just for future reference, I would have started saving the moment they announced that Super Hero units would be coming before the end of the year. I don't remember exactly when that was but I believe it was before WWC. The sales during WWC were great and even with just those and generally collecting f2p stones since then, you'd have thousands to spend on Beast Gohan right now. This is why Global foresight is such a wonderful thing.

You don't need to reroll, New players get like 300 stones within the first two hours easy
On the left of the main screen, upper left of the news button, click on that to do a bunch of missions to get a free LR that's pretty good for new players
When Beast and Piccolo come out tomorrow you'll probably have enough stones to get them. And even if you don't pull them, you'll have decent enough units to do challenges and stuff to quickly sweep up hundreds of more stones. Beast summon won't be leaving for 2 weeks so you'll have enough time.
Also, story and growth missions under Event are your friends

If you wanna min-max, sure. But you get so many stones as a new player you'll likely be able to pull him either way.
You want to farm up the free Ginyu force team and if Ginyu is available on the upcoming banners then you'll want to pull him too so you'll have an easy team that can clear 90% of content and then start snowballing awakening other characters and building other teams and stuff.

You got a skill orb, its a guaranteed drop. The mission is to equip it. The easiest z battle is the goku family at the bottom of the list, friend leader can basically solo it.

You just have to beat the first stage of any EZA. They all start off very weak except for the LR ones, so it should be easy.
The Zamasu/black and Trunks/Mai EZA were surprisingly easy. A V/T friend can carry you on the first one and AGL Cell just completely shits on the second (Who needs legendary power when you hit 10 million attack).

Yes, an extremely basic macro recording. One that easily messes up and doesn't take anything into account, where if you look away for 2 minutes, you'll find the game on the Summon screen wasting all your stones. The recommended one that everyone was using for that EZA would have you take snips of the screen and the app would tap depending on whats currently on screen.
You only need like 4 buttons at most to loop the All-Stars EZA, and no one of them will send you to the summon screen.
If you can't even set up a basic macro recorder then you have no chance with the image recognition one.

No, his defense will be 12.1k at rainbow, which is not only irrelevant for 99% of players right now who will have him at 55% if they pull him, but is laughable for an LR. It's considered average defense for a TUR at best. Now, Vegeta and Trunks also have kinda low defense for an LR, at 8.5k, but they guard the whole fight and stack, so it's not a problem. Gohan only guards for 3 turns, and once his into animation skill runs out, he'll be at around 450-500k defense at rainbow fully built up before super attacking. He'll be somewhere around 370-430k defense at 55% fully built up, without guard and without damage reduction. He also does mediocre damage because he doesn't stack attack and doesn't to a guaranteed additional at 20 ki. He's unironically a worse version of Cooler in every single way.
I don't get it, why do baseline stats just keep getting smaller and smaller every year? Like, sure, they inflate the percentages in passives too compensate, but come on, how are newer players supposed to even know which units are good? Sorting your box by attack isn't reliable at all anymore when team-building.
At this point, they really should introduce a singular "power level" display for every unit that takes passives into account, so you could sort by that.

I have a feeling fully built up Ult Gohan will be a monster, as will Piccolo, but on paper they look fairly mediocre compared to some of the other recent units.
Which makes me wonder, when were these characters designed? The movie was originally supposed to come out in April 2022, maybe these were designed to be the second wave of 200% units? They're better than the Gods/SS4s, but not by much, and they would slot in right after the 7th anniversary on JP.
Then again we still don't have a stand alone Gogeta Blue or whatever the final form of SS Broly is in the Broly movie, so we might never actually get a stand alone Beast or Orange Piccolo.

1. The new banner format
“It isn’t that bad” sure it isn’t as bad as we thought at first but why change an already perfect banner formula?

Normals will be eaten for double digits but a super attack your fricked and this goes for redzone and cell max.
3. Character boosts in certain content
This one is a bit minor but it still may be a pathway to a shit dokkan future but why oh why do new summonable units get this much of a boost in the new event.

If it stays only one event no probelm, But the problem comes when you look at other games that did the same and their pattern it starts of as something minor like a events gets a boost and the devolves into something big.

STR Cooler, easily the best TUR EZA in the game, went from 100% ATK/DEF to 130% ATK/DEF, and Ki+3 180% ATK/DEF to Ki+4 200% ATK/DEF
Cooler has one of the best units in the game as a linking partner, stacks infinitely, and can do additionals in his passive. It makes sense that they'd hold back on him and that's only 20% off from 200% anyway.
Both Nameku and Metal Cooler from the same celebration break past 200% with a hit or 2 taken, SS3 Bardock gets 300%, and Kid Goku starts with ~180% before factoring in the health based part of his passive. All of them except Bardock end up with over 400k def mid turn as well and Bardock is ~300k is still around 300k. Even Cooler himself gets to 350k def after a super at rainbow with the LR next to him.
With what you're proposing and assuming a 2500 stat boost, Gogeta at rainbow would sit around 250k def post super and Broly at rainbow would sit around 260k. That's flat out not usable by modern standards.

At most you can say it rerolls his attack pattern but it doesn't delete his attacks like Ghost Usher
Ghost Usher keeps the same pattern for the next turn, while giant forms just allow you to skip a pattern you don't like and do at least a little damage (see the almost 2 bars against Core in Dokkan World's free dupe video), but either way, you still need someone else with super detection to take full advantage of it.
Both Dokkaninfo and Dokkan.wiki are always up to date since they pull data directly from the game.

He's a reincarnation. He holds all of DKP's memories, the VIZ translation has him referred to as an incarnation of DKP. Kami would have been long dead if Piccolo didn't have DKP's soul.
Special Beam Cannon is technically 2 unique moves. A lot of people, even the people in charge of the series nowadays, forget this but he originally developed it to be used with 2 hands. It was supposed to be his answer to Goku's Kamehameha. He converted it into a one arm technique on the spot after losing his arm which a pretty underrated combat intelligence feat for Piccolo. Later on does try to use it with two hands against Nappa. It comes out almost instantly without him having to charge nearly as much.
This is a little headcanony but I think the reason it is this odd spiral shape is so it drill straight through a Kamehameha wave and through Goku who Piccolo assumes would have to be standing still and completely wide open. Another thing that people forget though is that Goku not only move around while charging the Kamehameha but can also change the direction of it while firing it which we'd never seen anyone do before. I think Goku definitely deserves an originality point for that.
So in the what-if match up of post timeskip Piccolo vs Goku, Piccolo still likely would have lost even with this special technique he developed specifically to counter Goku's moves.
