              why wouldn't the currently existing enemies be weak to darkness and curses? I know that it was like that in the first game but they could have easily changed that just like they have changed a million of other things.

              Yet in every game they appear in, they are some of the most beloved enemies. They don't even have to excursively be angels, pic related. The concept itself can be bent through the lens into illusionists and "tricks of the light" and spirits or fae beings. Saying light monsters are bullshit is the worst take I have seen on Ganker in recent memory.

    I’m a diehard fan but they streamlined the game and gameplay so much

    We wanted mystic knight, we just wanted the casting spells to not take so long to cast and wear off so quickly. Or a high level skill that lets you store a boon in your weapon like how sorc got that new skill in this game

    2 games in an row we’re all saying “imagine the potential this game has but is unrealized”

    Wayfarer is garbage and obtuse to get. So after 12 years we get the same amount of vocations, but trickster is literal dogshit so really we waited that long to lose a vocation. It’s crazy, I enjoy this game a ton and am no-lifting it, but the honeymoon period ending is gonna hit people like a freight train. Whereas I no-lifed dark arisen, and the love for that game only grew and grew until I put it down after starting a new game and beating it again and doing all of BBI
