These fucking npcs are part of why people think this game is yucki, even though it has a better character creator than BG3, and important NPCs look better. They had to commit this cardinal sin, fully knowing anime fans can only stomach beauty in their sensible stomachs
That might be why, actually. I know some games have purposefully made people, women in particular, ugly to "subvert the male gaze" and such but it doesn't feel like there was an actual attempt at that here. Just Oblivion potatofaces everywhere.
Yeah it's about time other devs caught up, it's getting ridiculous that only Bethesda can make games like this. Other games just kind of feel like filler in between Bethesda releases but they are getting closer to completely blowing them out of the water without an updated engine and fast
These discussions never end well. Suffice to say that if you're asking honestly and you haven't seen it, then I think you're lucky and I wish you well playing a pretty good game.
If you're a frothing discordite just aching to prove me wrong, I'm not going to entertain you.
It was too much for me so I quit playing.
The pronoun thing didn't bother me at all.
It's silly but it's a one-time character generation thing so it doesn't matter. BG3 is my game of the decade and it has pronouns and even an identity selector thing.
similar playtime, there was a moment some hours ago where Barrett's initial quest had an awkward "he" placement for my character, like "he" stuck out a bit from the rest of the sentence, I feel like that was the only bit where they/them would have been audible but idk really

I was about that long in before I started wondering where all the white people were. It was like every larger landing spot I was in had the demographics of London and every smaller outpost had lesbian couples and an annoying kid.
Probably confirmation bias but it got a little weird and mods'll fix it probably.

could be. I stopped caring about it after a while but it did stand out to me because I live in a white country so unusual things are... unusual.
The lack of decent men, especially white men who didn't get shot or turn out to be corrupt or be infantilized by every other woman around them was also a little grating.
It's the death by a thousand papercuts thing. No single thing is ragequit tier.

Are the outposts static or randomly generated?
I mean the ones that don't have markers but that pop up when you land on a random place.
What the fuck were they thinking there, seriously? The guns look like the fevered dreams of someone who has never been close to a firearm in xir's life.
the worst ones are the arboron guns that look like a childs drawing of a pistol/rifle
but i get unironically excited when i see a VSS Vintorez in the shop
good job bethesda
It’s another “Ganker hates the newest popular game” episode
It’s business as usual, if you enjoy it, play it, don’t think too hard about what a bunch of losers on an image board think
I’ve seen very little legitimate criticism
It boils down to; “lol Bethesda bad” and “lol pronouns bad” (which has some legitimacy, only from the standpoint that I hope it doesn’t become normal in other games)
it will be hailed as the best bethesda game since MW but needs some mods & patches & POI shuffle/some variety & a hoverboard for planets
its JUST at the edge of being something really, really incredible, but even at this stage its really kino
BG3 is the best game I've played in years.
Doesn't mean starfield wasn't occasionally fun as well. I'd say those scores are pretty close to how the games felt to me as well.
I got to a certain point in the main story and decided to just ignore the rest and go join the crimson fleet. These people are retards and I will have nothing more to do with them.

Most skills suck, most major faction questlines are mid/suck and the game really feels like a usual "BGS has a good idea and does nothing with it".

Absolute garbage
Whenever I start up the game I feel like i'm slowly going insane by all the random a.i. created things
>Whenever I start up the game I feel like i'm slowly going insane
I actually have experienced this sensation too. I wonder why it could be?

Unironically uncanny valley is prolly why
The idea that "human hands did not write this message" etc
That might be why, actually. I know some games have purposefully made people, women in particular, ugly to "subvert the male gaze" and such but it doesn't feel like there was an actual attempt at that here. Just Oblivion potatofaces everywhere.
Basedmods owner is a gay and should kill himself
Feels like a skyrim total conversion.
It's not bad but it's not good either. The worst bit is the constant idpol stuff.
>Feels like a skyrim total conversion
It's the reason this is the only game I was willing to spend $70 on so far
If you're into that kind of thing, it's fine.
The engine is getting real long in the tooth, though.

Like what?
You mean single-player open world stuff?
>constant idpol stuff.
Where?

I'm 30 hours deep and the last time I saw non-standard pronouns was at character creation.
The pronoun thing didn't bother me at all.
It's silly but it's a one-time character generation thing so it doesn't matter. BG3 is my game of the decade and it has pronouns and even an identity selector thing.
Then where is the constant idpol?
how to farm adhesive ffs?

you know your space game is bad when the real guns are more interesting than the fake ones

Reddit rifle.
I hate myself for saying this but even Star citizen guns look better.
This is just sad.
waiting for a halo weapons mod
>Need a literal flowchart and spreadsheet to ship resources
>Can't craft half the materials like Sealant, Lubricant or Cosmetics
>Good
Shill.
That shit was so dumb. It was just padding to fill things out without meaningful gameplay.
No one hates it other than seething Balsack’s Gate 3 shills and trannies

Those scores look about right to me. "Mostly Positive" is fair if you enjoy Bethesda games and don't care that they didn't deviate from the formula.
The main story is cringe and I am ignoring it.

Is another game that broke Ganker and snoys, when they got fucked at the same day.
