yeah I'm starting to notice that's where it's headed
poll will probably turn up elden ring in favor, but that doesn't mean the game is for you.
do you want a casual romp with fun movement mechanics and bamham combat, and probably cutscene heavy as well.
or do you want a dark fantasy combat centric adventure that is frustrating and challenging and obtuse but also rewarding and filled with scenic variety?
I think I prefer the second one, tbh. I've only played Dark Souls 2 from FromSoft and I enjoyed it, but I've just been hesitating with ER mostly bc of the price, but I've heard it's worth it.
this, for me it was always flipping a coin and when the result came back it was either relief or disappointment.
if it's disappointment do the opposite, if it's relief follow the coin
it's not different from eeny meeny miney mo creating a false randomness that reveals what you actually want

But maybe I like to interact with a community instead of rot in loneliness. And you liked voting in that poll, didn't you? ;))

I like the idea of going into a challenging game and a gritty world and everything but man did I love playing spider-man on the PS2 (I think it was) as a kid.. I think I might get bored of swinging after awhile though
>or grappling hook swinging through a city?
or watching pre rendered cutscenes of a character grappling hook swinging through a city*
FTFY. It's not real swinging until they bring back the actual momentum and physics.
spiderman is really short but a fun game, elden ring is really fun for half the game then kinda annoying and bad.
I'd get elden ring as it offers more content and id' say more fun during the times it doesnt' frustrate you
Just close the poll, bro

Nope, you only like to shitpost. Mentioning DS2 instantly was the mask slip. Your motives are known now.

Its all good anon.

You brought DS2 up, people are going to talk about it.

I didn't vote in the poll I went directly to posting because I knew what the result would be

Stupid question. Elden RIng will win with at least 15 points of margin.
>one is multiplayer
>there other is not
buy the former and pirate the latter, it's not hard
This. When will developers and publishers learn that nobody likes single player shit?
If we're talking budget, Elden Ring will definitely last you longer if you're into Dark Souls.
