This is also why private servers try to avoid chinks as much as possible, and if they don't, it means they are working with them to make money. Chinks don't play if they cant skip ahead of the line somehow. For chinese WoW it's things they can buy in-game so this alleviates a lot of the headache blizz used to have.

You can do a lot in Runescape without heavily grinding. Off the top of my head, playing the market and entry level PvP in the Wilderness don't take much effort. All you'd need to do is some early quests.
I quit WoW for Archeage and I'm not going back. I can see why PvE loot tradmill trannies don't like it though since endgame doesn't consist of running the same dungeons over and over hoping something drops for you.

Yes. I don't like the mount and cosmetic store but it's not going anywhere and can be ignored. Tacking a mount to the subscription service, which is required to even play the game, is just a manipulative way to get people to commit to something they might not have otherwise committed to.
I know a couple people who fell for the trap with the boat who had nothing to do but we're stuck with a sub they didn't want to play because they bought six months for the mount. It's scummy and it works.

Because you can't just replace a game engine with a different one. It requires an entirely new codebase and tech stack.
Even porting old engine tech to a new one is a process lasting literal decades. It's not justifiable for an already-launched project with a specific budget and return on investment. Doesn't matter how many chinks buy rats as status symbols. The price isn't worth it.
