This is about SMTV casting a "non-binary" chick as the VA for the protag. It has dual audio so who cares, though script changes are still a lurking threat. Really the biggest issue with the VA is that no matter if she calls herself non-binary she just sounds like a young woman and not at all androgynous, and for whatever reason corporations decided that was good enough for teen boys.

Atlus West hired a "non-cis gendered" voice actor.
While you can argue that you can change the dialouge to the original Japanese, the localization will very likely have the typical gender-speak, and ponoun bofoonary.
The PR trend over the casting is priding itself over the identity of the voice actor rather than the talent.
