Coping what coping?
I'm literally saying that noggers are disgusting beings that are only good for labour or throwing poop in their home continent.
This why nobody likes you literally can only say Cope and Kek. Kinda says how small nogger brain is. and trying to make lazy dumb nogger women into knight is the most unrealistic think I have ever seen makes sense you can't make poop look good no matter how hard you tried.
Left one is fricking annoying.
Right basically doesn't have character at all.
Both are trash especially considering that in the same pathfinder game there is a priest Black person written by other people who are relatively likeable.
>medieval USA
The whole point of Seelah is that she came from fantasy africa as child and only then became paladin.
That still doesn't save her as she's fricking irritating.
>Not an argument
Are you the same moron twitter troony who keeps saying this stuff when you get butthurt.

It's a fad, and people are getting sick of it.
Quit being a b***h and wait out the storm.
Better color contrast throughout. From top to bottom, the design alternates darker and lighter shades (hair->face->shoulder/neck armor->tabard with belt between->leggings->boots) which is generally a lot more visually interesting.
The left is basically just grey throughout, though the red cape is a nice addition.
Left has a much better design but right is cuter.
The left girl is ugly and I'm talking about her face not race. Draw a prettier face on left and she's start looking better than right in every possible way.
my 2 cents >left sword's hilt is too short to be wielded two*handed >left boob armor is unrealistic >left isn't very diligent and prone to be emotionally guided which is shameful for a paladin
Seelah is the worst paladin ever Baboon comes off as chaotic good rather than lawful good like holy shit I would tolerate her if she acted like a paladin instead we get this loud ass hollerin nigress b***h that somehow convinces iomadae to let her keep her powers
The one on the right openly carries her holy texts and will burn sinners in the name of the Lord. The one on the left has probably never burned anyone at the stake.
sure. i know a little bit about art and design and everything
left doesnt have the muscular structure to support the amount of armor being worn, the armor design is poor and not mobile at all, with very inconsistent and poorly designed / poorly drawn parts. they clearly just tried covering up badly designed parts by elongating the armor around the arms, the upper legs, the upper arms, the shoulders, even around the neck is so lazily designed and drawn
also for scale, the legs are much larger and much larger body frame and weight than the upper body. a lot of the bits on the armor are lazily slapped on after the fact, like the details on the breastplate
right has form and function and not lazily stitched together together , there can be mobility and believable in the parts of the armor being lower legs, lower arms, and the main armor being the body with shoulder pads
the biggest difference is taht right is designed for showing movement, and is fully realized in game where the left is a woke circlejerk painting that makes no sense, has no believability, no coherent concept of design in form or function and really just sub par artwork overall. clearly was done with a digital tablet, on a low cost painting software , and rendered poorly by the artist
the japanese while may do fan fic tier shit, they atleast exercise and commit , the left is just a throwaway jpg that amounts to nothing in terms of impact for the player
Interesting you mention mobility.
I couldn't really put my finger on what feels so wrong about the left image but I guess that's it, it just doesn't look like a flexible, moving object. The "gaps" on the right make it more tangible as an overall design.
We're comparing an in-game model to a character portrait so it's not an entirely even comparison. But right has a cleaner design with clearer lines directing the viewer to the different points of focus on the character. The left one I feel like the overly detailed armor doesn't have a focal point and my eye keeps getting drawn to the sheath and the water bottle.
>no unrealistic boob armor >no cape in battle >no stupid shoulder chevrons >battleaxe instead of sword (the latter was rarely used in medieval battlefields) >no stupidly long scabbard >tabard looks cooler than plain armor >stance and facial expression actually conveys a personality. (Legitimately, what is left's facial expression trying to convey?)
I think the weapon is a cooler choice, as well as the more consistent iconography across her design, with the shared wingspan design motifs on her chest, axe, bible and belt.
Nothing wrong with the design on the left outside of the shield looking dumb so high up on her back and the scabbard looking a little unwieldy due to its design.
You could swap these characters' physical traits and my opinion on them wouldn't change.
Nothing wrong immediately with left's race but is everyone in her land her colour? >yes
Then it's fine I guess. If she's away from home it would give an excuse for why she would look so different from others. >no
Then you'll need to explain that and why two separate peoples are living together as if they're the same. Is one invading? >yes
Then it's fine I guess. Invasion would explain it. >no
So why are they coexisting? Are there tensions related to these races like in our own history to at least explain why they're still distinct after supposedly sharing the same land and society for all their histories? >yes
Then it's fine I guess. Pogroms, prejudice and those things can keep two peoples separate. I'm not interested in seeing another story about muh oppression and racism though, especially with real world races. >no
So why are they distinct? Is her culture or language at least different enough that her people keep to their own race and don't get mixed? >yes
Then it's fine I guess. They're just very different and that should be demonstrated somehow. >no
Then what keeps her people from looking like distinctive? How do two peoples live in the same environment, intermix for their entire history, treat each other fairly with no thought to the other's race, have the exact same culture and still remain different? The problem with having races other than Anglos in fantasy is that it's almost always coming from a need to just insert "minorities" into settings without thinking at all about why they're there. It's shit world building and I'd rather engage in something well thought out than some weirdo's political wet dream.
Also lefty's sword is off centre. The blade looks like it's about to slide off.
>pathfinder world has literally NotAfrica >WHY ARE THERE BLACK MIN AND WIMEN IN MY GAME?!?! ARGHHH DE SANTIS SAFE ME!
You snowflakes cry about everything. Meanwhile America has real issues like the climate crisis, school shootings and becoming some pseudo christian afghanistan.
Left is just boring. The colors are flat, the design is flat, and the body dimensions are absurd but not in a good way. Everything is very predictable, the same castle background you expect, some armor, a sword, nothing that makes me go "what is that what is going on there" like with the right. There's nothing you could talk about at length about it while on right there are at least 10 things you ask questions about. There is nothing particularly cool, sexy, personal, or really attention-grabbing about left at all.
The armor on the left is overwrought and noisy. So many parts of it are physically impractical, and despite so much detail, there is nothing on the character design-wise that expresses if they're a paladin or something else. There's so little to actually say about the character design, it's just western fantasy full plate armor that always goes overboard on detail only to end up looking extremely bland.
The armor on the right is composed of a few relatively simple plates and chain under a surcoat. It lends towards a far more practical style of outfit for someone making long treks and relying on a large polearm for defense in combat rather than covering up everything they can.
Stylistically, it also does a lot more with less in regards to the small accessories, the symbols of their faith and the tearing at the bottom of the surcoat. There is far less detail but the existing detail has purpose. It at a glance can imply the character is a member of some organized force and actually engages in treacherous work if not combat.
At the defense of Seerah's armor, the crest on her chest is that of Iomedais, so anyone would instantly recognise her as a paladin of Iomedai.
It is an overdesigned piece of shit though, look at the goddamns legs and pauldron.
The cloak and cloth part is absolutely rad though.
Sword on the left looks like a big chunky piece of plastic.
Seera's design isn't that bad as far as paladin armor goes, but the wings bit and decorations are a bit out of place on a somewhat realistic dépiction of battlefield armor.
I don't know who the frick that on the right is, But as far as anime plate amor goes, it's not that bad.
The chest should be bulkier compared to the wrists and pauldron plate, but i can enjoy aslim brigandine.
Dope ass quote too, and nice weapon choice i rate it anime/10.
Axes are always better than swords.
Unless you are a knight on a horse you should never be wearing full plate. Inquisitor has the right of it.
Also Inquisitor isn't a Black person.
The one on the left is cultural appropriation. The architecture, fashion, armor, weaponry does not fit the person.
The one on the left is anime autism and it therefore bad, but at least they are trying.
left too wide
tabard breaks up color composition better than left's grey wall
no autistic scabbard that will catch on everything
axe looks cool sword looks lame
no cape of unwarranted self importance
flat chest is best breast
But I always felt that it was extremelly stupid how "black representation" in fantasy settings in 90% of the time just picking a black person and dressing them like a french noble or knight.
Why not...you know....represent them with designs taking clues from the african kingdoms of the time period?
Left has that generic western fantasy style that I absolutely hate. Trying to look "Realistic" yet designed by somebody who has no clue how armor and armaments should actually look. Armor that looks like it is 5 inches thick and not wearing a helmet, and a sword that is trying really hard to look normal but is actually wildly impractical (either two big and thick for an arming sword, or a hilt that is way too short for a two-handed sword/bastard sword, completely useless crossguard, major structural weakpoint in the hilt)
The right is equally ridiculous of course, but it is clear that it isn't -trying- to look like gear that a real human being would wear.
>Compare the design of a black, sluggish Paladin chick from a CRPG to a speedy, axe-flinging Inquisitor chick from a KMMO
At least use DFO's actual paladin class.
>explain why 1+1=2 without mentioning math
I know I will sound like the comic book guy but isn't there generalization of 1+1=2 that only uses pure logic?
>The shield is only here for the stats.
>>The shield is only here for the stats.
You don't get stats from the weapons that are not in your active loadout in pozzfinder
Pure logic is literally math
Fantasy is essentially medieval Europe with magic.
Left is "medieval USA" with magic.
>Fantasy is essentially medieval Europ
Frick you, it is not.
Yes it is, cope harder Black person
Fighting manual from 16th century Germany
bro he's mugging him
Noggers are too ugly and disgusting for beautiful European fantasy and they don't belong here.
What kinda disgusting sissies who don't respect their own history want some freaking muttnoids in European historical themes.
Now who's coping, kek
Coping what coping?
I'm literally saying that noggers are disgusting beings that are only good for labour or throwing poop in their home continent.

>Fantasy is essentially medieval Europe with magic.
No comment on the OP either way, just want to point out that his is laughably dogshit understanding of fantasy
Right is flatter
The one on the right isn't pretending to not look ridiculous.
Actually left has the better design because of the armor, but I like right better because of the anime artstyle.
ok, left is just straight up fricking ugly
No need.
All religious characters are foolish.
You're only religious because you confuse irrelevance with counterculture.
An invisible sky judge doesn't have the fear factor of old.
>You're only religious because you confuse irrelevance with counterculture.

Quit being a b***h and wait out the storm.
Anime is simply superior to all other art forms.
Right has a battle axe, the superior weapon choice
Left is wielding a longsword like a claymore despite having a shield on her back
Longswords are made to be wielded with one or both hands
why is medieval art so gay?
Something terrible happened and everyone both forgot how to art and how to have straight sex.
What race is right? Anime chink?
Better color contrast throughout. From top to bottom, the design alternates darker and lighter shades (hair->face->shoulder/neck armor->tabard with belt between->leggings->boots) which is generally a lot more visually interesting.
The left is basically just grey throughout, though the red cape is a nice addition.
Left is ugly, and ugly armor, looks better with the cloth pieces
she looks cute
easy as
Knight templar color palette. Also not a n-
Feminine traits make pp hard. Thus it is a better design.
Left has a much better design but right is cuter.
The left girl is ugly and I'm talking about her face not race. Draw a prettier face on left and she's start looking better than right in every possible way.
my 2 cents
>left sword's hilt is too short to be wielded two*handed
>left boob armor is unrealistic
>left isn't very diligent and prone to be emotionally guided which is shameful for a paladin
perfection
I don't know how the frick you can think that armor design is better than the other one.
I like big armour and i think its hotter to strip big armour off a girl and reveal her bare skin than to know so much of the shape to begin with
Still wearing too much armor
>muh 11th century armor
lmao platelet
>full plate and a polearm
Pussy.
>t. salty loser
Seelah is the worst paladin ever Baboon comes off as chaotic good rather than lawful good like holy shit I would tolerate her if she acted like a paladin instead we get this loud ass hollerin nigress b***h that somehow convinces iomadae to let her keep her powers
She's prettier, thinner and more feminine. Plus the one on the left has the complexion of a Black which is jarring and unpleasant to look at.
right seems more true to the paladin cause. left is a filthy thief that went "today ill be a paladin lol :)"
Burgers really love shoving Black folks into yuro fantasy, while at the same time pretending no other races besides black or white exist.
I know *why* but this spiritual cuckolding is beyond pathetic, truly
The one on the right openly carries her holy texts and will burn sinners in the name of the Lord. The one on the left has probably never burned anyone at the stake.
one on the left looks more pious like said. seelah is a better drinking buddy than a paladin tbh
also this
left probably doesnt know how to read
ugly, beauty
sure. i know a little bit about art and design and everything
left doesnt have the muscular structure to support the amount of armor being worn, the armor design is poor and not mobile at all, with very inconsistent and poorly designed / poorly drawn parts. they clearly just tried covering up badly designed parts by elongating the armor around the arms, the upper legs, the upper arms, the shoulders, even around the neck is so lazily designed and drawn

>white "people"
I know a guy who plays that game and looks pretty much exactly like this. I'm pretty sure he also makes youtube videos that get like 20k views
Right is a video game, left isn't.
race
they both look bad
i would clap seelah's cheeks though
>no unrealistic boob armor

One embraces the fanciful one tries to be """realistic"""" while having armer that is so heavy itd be inneffective or hollow.
I prefer the right design but where are her breasts? At least the nigress has some milkers
>Paizo/Owl shit
Right is more stylized, but her archetype is immediately obvious.
You could swap these characters' physical traits and my opinion on them wouldn't change.
the anime girl design is surprisingly less busy than the black girl.
western designers are learning all the wrong lessons from eastern games.
she doesn't, the armor and sword of left are 10x better. her face is personal preference. left wins with both hands behind her back.
I want to lick right's flat chest. I don't want to lick a single inch of the one on the left
I don't care about race, I just prefer whoevers cuter
Nothing wrong immediately with left's race but is everyone in her land her colour?
>yes
Then it's fine I guess. If she's away from home it would give an excuse for why she would look so different from others.

how many black women have actually played a crpg?
The left's armor somehow managed to be more overdesigned than the anime pic
Left is just boring. The colors are flat, the design is flat, and the body dimensions are absurd but not in a good way. both are fricking terrible anime warcraft shit
Paladins never use shields, their faith is their shield. Left is beyond moronic without the skin colour coming into play.

The one on the left is anime autism and it therefore bad, but at least they are trying.

Who does this?
alcoholics
Left is ugly, right is cute.
Damn, that was easy.
Anime makes anything superior.
I like the cloth over armors, very stylish. Also that axe.
It's not the game on the right is complete trash

Damn coward
I don't really like either of them tbh, but red and white is a more compelling visual design element.
