>Family are round
>15 year old cousin is crying looking at his phone
>Ask whats wrong
>Gets embarrassed but says something like "pippy got kicked from TJS" or some shit
>Ask for elaboration for people that speak english
>Turns out to be some streamer getting kicked from his speed running club or something
>Inwardly wonder if my cousin is autistic
>Much later during beers and poker Uncle mentions how much trouble it is raising an autistic son
So does Speedrunning make people autistic or does autism cause speedrunning?
the latter, but the former gives it a useless outlet where that autism could be going somewhere productive. its the same with a subset of autists being obsessed with vhs
Is there any way to channel autism into being productive instead of this? Like getting them into being obsessed with the violin or chess instead of children's cartoons or something
i dont know. in a way im doing that to myself, if you want to steer them in a direction thats not going to be an unproductive sinkpit itll probably have to be in that verticle of interest. if they are interested in cartoons, sit down and draw with them, or ask them if they would like to make their own cartoons - youre not going to get good results trying to force them into a completely different interest / desire if its strong enough.
thats to say, stop it from being an unproductive obsession - if the autisms strong enough you wont be able to stop an unhealthy obsession, but it doesnt mean that itll lead to misery if its steered towards creating value, if you follow my line of thinking
>sit down and draw with them, or ask them if they would like to make their own cartoons
just think, if bob and whateverhernameis didnt indulge his fantasies in a way that made him write his own shit (however tripe it was) - we wouldnt of had a quarter of the joy we did otherwise
hey you
you post that gif often
i just want you to know that i find this little snippet of the music video hilarious because it looks like hes sliding over to grab something out of my hands
i knew using this would happen to me eventually, my habits becoming noticable. i need to change up my post style and filenames
glad you like it too, virtual insanitys whole music vid is amazing and its a great song
It is, but skill and passion is kinda random. It's like getting a good job, where it's a mix of having the right skills and being at the right time.
The problem is that a key feature of autism is how hard it is for them to try new things, so finding that thing they can be productive at and happy about it is very ahrd to come by.
My parents drilled in the whole do something technical into me and it worked out. I job that let's me survive and have a dog friend, but it's just us two since they passed and I can't make friends. Not sure everyone else's autism can be channeled though.
oh lmfao, jesse cox. why OP?
are traps gay?
Hey now, the Cox and Crendor animated stuff is great.
never watched that garbage. Cox is stuck at the same subscriber count since like 7 years and crendor is like some 1 note wow content creator that got forced into diversifying
homosexuals that judge a stream based on their ability to sell out and improve their "brand" and worse than streamers themselves. Youre probably some lsf moron
they're just your average gaming youtube grifter lol. i used to be very familiar with them
RIP
sucks to have him gone
wait, did he die or something
if you mean TB. then yeah i agree
> speed running club
The what now? Like kids in middle/high school publicly join a club to announce they have autism and likely trannies? When I was in high school, we didn't even have shit like an anime club and that's super normalgay now.
Anon you post on Ganker and share genetics with your cousin you’re probably autistic too especially because you don’t have social awareness of understanding autism
Holy shit, someone else besides me actually played this game
>old man yells at clouds
my dad cringed at the shit i did, and his dad cringed at the shit he did
>Family are round
Yeah I bet they are, fatty.
