Can't think of any games that do this well, but horizon does this really bad.
Zelda has been doing it since at least LttP, in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess they started showing a lot of the ancient technology, then in Skyward Sword they outright stated the Sheikah had an ancient civilization and you could see their factories and robots, and guardians in the sacred realm. BotW started heavily focus on it.
it's not that much of an unrealistic trope. technology was much more advanced in 2nd Century Roman Empire than of, 9th Century Western Europe where people lived in mud huts near ~~*castles*~~ fortified by wooden fences
I mean the roman empire even had analogue computers that could tell you the position of stars. It's not unfathomable that the ancient Egyptians also had some kind of advanced technology that allowed them to build the pyramids, which scientists still have no idea how to explain to this day.

In my own fantasy setting I keep creating with my schizo fantasies a lot of tech is no longer useable, either because Demiurge broke it or breaks it magically when people try to fix it, but some of it is allowed to be used or they can get it gifted by Demiurge. It's a bit like in Gor books, where you would get killed by powerful beings if you tried to create a gun and so on.
But old ruins still stand here and there, with broken tech and such, while Fallout NV and 3 tier raiders and tribals scurry around them.

The juxtaposition of a sprawling ruined metropolis of an iconic American city filled with zombies, followed by a futuristic sci-fi tower populated only by machines, and then a desolate, empty quaint "rural"-esque picturesque abandoned town at the top of the tower was really melancholic.
The characters have never even seen a playground or bicycle before, trying to estimate what they were used for, while kilometers below you the people who used to live there were zombies who've been shambling around for tens of thousands of years.

Xenosaga is a JRPG space opera with a lot of supernatural stuff, like the deuteragonist literally being a robot possessed by the soul of Mary Magdalene, Jesus being an important character, and the main protagonist being a reincarnation of Jesus's disciples and shit.
Xenosaga's considered a spiritual successor and a unofficial continuation of the grand story arc that Xenogears started.
Xenoblade's a much more "shonen" and "fantasy" approach but ultimately contains the same grand sci-fi concepts of the earlier games. Rather than being an unofficial continuation, Xenoblade's more of "reboot" of the grand multi-universe sci-fi epic that Xenogears and Xenosaga were meant to be.

I can perform enough mental gymnastics to rationalize how a nearly Space Age the society suddenly killed himself and that a sect of people somewhere were disconnected enough from it that they had no idea that they existed in enough time passed for the previous Society to have been buried and reclaimed by nature. The Sentinelese people being a good example of that idea.
What I cannot rationalize is this ancient Society having still burning torches lining the walls. Or worse, foods matching the time and weapons that are compatible with the current adventurers shit. How does magic then sometimes interact with the physical world? Some Wizards can shift objects between the magical dimension and physical plane same way a regular person can shift objects in 3d space.

Within the world of FFT magic is contingent with a person's faith in the gods with the greatest Mages requiring the greatest amount of faith who are usually clergyman. If you're not a faithful person or someone who puts more stock and Technology then you don't bother and you put more of your efforts in other things like swordsmanship or basic trades. In the Elder Scrolls a person's ability to use Magic requires years of study or at least it requires years of study if you're not a player character. If you're not interested in learning schools of magic then the ability to generate lightning means nothing to you. You can just become a swordsmith or learn a trade. In the world of Bioshock one's ability to use plasmids has an inverse relationship with their own sanity and those with a lot of power are so mentally unstable that they're unable to use it properly. Which funnily enough once everybody started using magic the entire city fell apart.

Any setting where not everyone can be a mage has to have muggles who rely on technology to get by. Should mix it up a bit though and let muggles buy some magic stuff from mages.
It is actually very simple, if only 1 in 1000 people can use magic, in a war you would want those other 999 people to not just be cannon fodder so you use that magic to build them things.
If you have 2 mages fighting and then one side has 100 guys with swords and the other side has 100 guys with guns then that side will win.

The Sahara suddenly got hit really hard by a mass flooding event some time in the near distant past which stripped the soil and turned it into a wasteland, which is why you can find all sorts of sea fossils scattered around it in areas that weren't (naturally) under the ocean. It used to be far greener and full of a vast network of rivers.
Literally just look at any satellite map of the Sahara and you can see the clear signs of water erosion everywhere starting from the north in the Mediteranean, going right through the Richat Structure (the purported location of Atlantis according to the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians), and coming out off the coast of Mauritania.

Not really. Tolkien was one of those masters savvy enough to hold magic and technology in tension which is why from the Ainulindalë to the 4th age you see what starts as a magical world getting the magic chased out by the increasingly industrialized power of the creator's enemy.

to be fair, with the Horizon series it's 1000 years after the world ended and the robots are restoring the planet but due to some sabotage the new humanity does not know the purpose of the robots

If it's a planet with air and carbon based life, it means that said fantasy world has the same fundamental laws of physics and chemistry.
If the planet looks the same, with mountains, minerals and all the same chemical elements, it means that there is at least some amount of silicon somewhere.

Its a staple of fantasy fiction, Wheel of Time, Wish Song of Shannara, Mistborn Trilogy, etc. Its also very cool, and not even unrealistic like you seem to think it is. Technological dark ages occur after collapses in civilization, hence the entire era of our history called 'The Dark Ages'.

There's something really oddly compelling about it. Stuff like the NCR in the Fallout universe - I know that's sci-fi not fantasy, but the idea that out of tribal society this new state trying to replicate and even advance on old tech is really cool. Post-post-apocalyptic.
It's kind of disappointing that Bethesda's take on new fallout games seems to ignore that idea, and make the series just an endlessly repeating series of wastelands where nothing improves.
