as much as I respect ape, I never for the life of me could get into stardew. it's just too ugly
Can you have wife and children in there?
not as far as I know. we know nothing about the dlc packs, but I doubt it tbh. fae farm doesn't emphazise romance or the NPCs in general. but I personally never gave a fuck about that aspect in farming games
Just a glance at this image tells me this is a chud game
it has 4 body types (2 slim male, female / 2 fat male, female), pronouns options (which are NEVER used in game lmao) and voice options. the NPCs are gender neutral in english? dunno about other languages but you can clearly tell their gender based on their looks. you can romance everybody.
the character design is not for everybody you are absolutely right. I fucking love fairies and fairy stuff, so I dig it. but the magical environments and decorations are really pretty in my opinion.
you didn't anwser the question, slave. Now obey.
senpai, I'm with you on that. I didn't buy it because of that account stuff. but knowing I can play it solo without it works for me, as I don't even like playing farming games with others. Just pirate it, somebody ITT already posted the link. I personally wait for a sale because I just don't like to pirate, maybe I'm autistic.
>3 guys to marry, 2 girls and 1 "non binary" >cant built relationships at all with non-marriageable npcs >romance starts automatically if you talk to the marriageable npcs, can't refuse them
Fuck off with this retardation
I played a rune factory on switch and man that game was so fucking boring. the dungeons are barebones and the farming too. finished the game but couldn't get married lol. shit game franchise.
here are some farm games to look forward to:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2142790/Fields_of_Mistria/
literally a sailor moon farming game where you can date ryoga from ranma 1/2
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2209900/Moonlight_Peaks/
this game is gonna be the best animal crossing alternative on pc we can get. it has all the hallmarks with all the decoration stuff and romance too. I can't fucking wait. demo is gonna be out soon.
I played the one with the dragon e-boi, can't remember the number it had. I finished it, but STILL could not get married, because you have to make them 100 gifts or dunno wtf. lost interest after the credits and just gave up. not marrying in RL and in-game for me I guess.
you have low standards anon
bruh, if the japs make a fairy farming game I'm gonna buy it for sure
they are all hot af. I swear to god if they put a chud flag in the game like they did with moonstone island, I'm gonna go insane. I just have to play sailor moon harvest
>chudstone island
Gaiana looks hot as hell but the rest of the portraits are vile, might pirate it just for her.
Sick, honestly has a lot of cuties. Pink hair dark skin is top tier so Adeline interests me toon
Hayden looks like a bro too. Anyway it's 2024 so it's still a while away
>body types A, body type A(fat), body type B, body type B(fat) >pronouns >character selection changes voice at the end
And the rest is the same hot garbage as every indi farming game.
OP here, I'm waiting so long for this game. it doesn't even have a steam page and honestly I doubt it will even be on steam. looks like a all style no substance game. they are good at making the animals cute as they are a toy producer but I dunno about the game tbh. hope it's gonna be good though.
this is the only thing holding me back from buying. and many say it has quite some bugs, devs are working to fix them but still. also pretty scummy to let the players pay for dlc we know nothing about in advance. how much will they cost without deluxe? 15 each? or even more? I don't like not knowing what I am getting myself into, so I have to wait on it but I have nothing to play at the moment and would like to try it out.. the struggle is real
Isn't the point of games to do stuff you can't really do in real life like going on an epic adventure, immersing yourself into a fictional world, etc?
You can perfectly have a garden and grow crops in real life.
And there is no challenge to the game either so you don't get into the "flow zone" like in Dark Souls.
But in Dark Souls you can do things that you can't in real life:
Have legendary battles with massive bosses while never having to worry brain damage, paralysis and dismemberment, which you might get from a real life fight.
>no challenge >dark souls
I hate you newfags. gaming is not only about le difficulty. gaming is about LUDO and that can be many things, zoomzoom. being creative, exploring worlds, managing items/time schedules etc etc. you are pathetic if you think le gaming is only goysouls
Any actual farming games itt? Someone mentioned Rune Factory 3, which is a great game, but I already played it and the two before it. I'm tired of Stardew but I'd love something styled similarly.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1432860/Sun_Haven/
this is on sale right now and supposed to be good
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1657630/Slime_Rancher_2/
is not a classic farming game but really fun and cute
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1084600/My_Time_at_Sandrock/
many like this one, too
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1062520/Dinkum/
this is a lot like animal crossing but australia. only downside is the looks
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1158160/Coral_Island/
this one I played myself on launch and didn't like it. was interested for the ocean stuff but it was utterly barebones.
most farming games I personally look forward to are not out yet.
Weighing in on those I've played in case anyone is looking for opinions:
Sun Haven is good, but somehow not as good as Stardew despite having more features. I don't know why, by all rights I should like it more but I simply don't. I still put 100 hours into it though.
Sandrock is fantastic. Not a farming game but it feels the same. Play Portia first though because the QoL improvements in Sandrock will make it hard to go back (mainly the fact that you can use items from your storage to complete quests/build things in Sandrock but you need them in your inventory in Portia which can be a nightmare if your storage boxes aren't highly organized).
Dinkum sucks but I also think Animal Crossing sucks so if you like the latter you'll probably like the former. I'm really bad at design and it's the sort of game where designing your village is the main focus. As someone who can only do commieblocks it really wasn't for me.
Has anyone played Roots of Pacha? It's on sale right now.
>morons
man fuck off
bump
Fibby bippy
it's fun
How is it?
It looks super comfy but I’m broke right now.
meh, nowhere as good as Stardew Valley.
as much as I respect ape, I never for the life of me could get into stardew. it's just too ugly

starvalley is ugly, but this isnt to you? Look at that complete lack of soul on those faces.

>french can into sexy art
>can't into games
Waven is shit.
Waven is kinda interesting as a cardgame, but I cant see it holding my attention for very long.
yeah, though even in Wakfu you can just focus on farming even if its in a public place or in your haven bag.
Can you have wife and children in there?
Looked shitty
Just a glance at this image tells me this is a chud game
Yeah, there is one chud as a romanceable option in the game. 3 males + 2 females + one chud and romance is shiet.
>4 dudes a sheboon and an uggo
the very definition of a gay game
>4 morons on the main marketing material
thats gonna be a NOPE from me.
Is it out?
For few days already, check your local torrent tracker.
its gaymin time
https://steamrip.com/fae-farm-free-download/
More like Gayfarm
40 bucks for a DS looking game?
Okay that is unacceptable, a moron fairy?
Trash woke game forsure
>3 guys to marry, 2 girls and 1 "non binary"

Fuck off with this retardation

That's literally rape.
Come home straight man

i mean, its the best the genre has to offer still
>I played a rune factory on switch and man that game was so fucking boring
Lemme guess, you played 5 (AKA the game that ruined the the whole series)
I played the one with the dragon e-boi, can't remember the number it had. I finished it, but STILL could not get married, because you have to make them 100 gifts or dunno wtf. lost interest after the credits and just gave up. not marrying in RL and in-game for me I guess.
bruh, if the japs make a fairy farming game I'm gonna buy it for sure
if you mean pic related, thats not Japanese. its French.
yeah, wakfu is an MMO and I don't like them in general. I would love a japanese animal crossing game with cute fairies. one can dream
id rather play a farm game made by ankama, personally. Japs typically cannot resist cramming in tired tropes.
if it wasn't a MMO, sure
>fields of mistria
Seems like yet another chud mystery meat game, but if this cutie can be married then I'm interested
they are all hot af. I swear to god if they put a chud flag in the game like they did with moonstone island, I'm gonna go insane. I just have to play sailor moon harvest

Sorry, too busy playing farming games without moron-fairies.
I'm waiting for the TRUE animal crossing killer.
OP here, I'm waiting so long for this game. it doesn't even have a steam page and honestly I doubt it will even be on steam. looks like a all style no substance game. they are good at making the animals cute as they are a toy producer but I dunno about the game tbh. hope it's gonna be good though.
Lol
I can't believe this is an actual thing that happened. Jesus Christ.
>Requires 3rd-Party Account: Phoenix Labs Account
Why?
you only need it for online play (coop / visiting other people's islands), because it's crossplay. if you play solo you don't need an account.
you didn't anwser the question, slave. Now obey.
Stop asking questions. Just fill out your personal information for them, bigot
This feels pretty expensive for a Dewlike
this is the only thing holding me back from buying. and many say it has quite some bugs, devs are working to fix them but still. also pretty scummy to let the players pay for dlc we know nothing about in advance. how much will they cost without deluxe? 15 each? or even more? Que?
Why do people play those games?
OP here they are comfy and cozy

Thanks for killing videogames 'every game should be reddit souls' shitter.
But in Dark Souls you can do things that you can't in real life:

literal autism and not the good kind, leave now

But when you get good at a hard game, you enter the Flow Zone.
And hard games predate Zoomers all the way to contra and Punch Out.
>worshipping BBC
>telling others to go back to their cuckboard
Good one, anon.
