I haven't played this series before, google tells me it's an action rpg and I like those. are the other games good? and are they stand alone like final fantasy or do they all connect with each other?
>I haven't played this series before, google tells me it's an action rpg
Fate/Samurai Remnant is an upcoming game. Unknown genre but it's likely going to be a musou since THE musou company aka Koei Tecmo is working on it.
Fate is primarily a VN but it has a handful of games of varied genres. Turn-based RPGs, fighting games, musou and such.
>are the other games good? and are they stand alone like final fantasy or do they all connect with each other?
Some of them are connected like Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC or Fate/Extella and Fate Extella/Link (both of them also connect to Fate/Extra CCC.)
>are the other games good?
no, there isn't a single good fate game so far >and are they stand alone like final fantasy or do they all connect with each other?
no, nasu is an autist and he wants everything to be connected like marvel and shit
basically play fgo or frick off
First of all, no two fate games (except Extella and Extella Link, which plays better than Extella) are the same. They're all a loosely connected series connected by some loose rules.
So far this game has one connection to Fate/Grand Order in the case of one of its characters, a FGO original character (kind of)
Second, this game is being developed by Omega Force, which develops the licensed Warriors games for other companies >Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity >Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes >Persona 5 Strikers
so on.
Yeah, censored Ushi. Bothering with anything Japanese in current year is taking the fast track to disappointment. If the game isn't shit already then the localizers will find a way to frick it up. There's literally no point in playing Japanese games unless you already know Japanese.
We got fricking Mihoyo before we got Tsukihime Remake, what makes you think Fate isn't still the primary cash cow despite Arcueid's FGO banner rocketing the game back to the top of the board again for a while?
Hoping for non-musou but expecting dissapointment on that end. Even so, I'll probably play it depending on what info's revealed, mainly if the maps and setting are more interesting than "moon cell computer where you fight uninteresting robots".
But if we're talking a proper Edo-period Fate game without too much BS? I'd buy that for a dollar.
We know Musashi was Kaleidoscoping a lot before Atlantis so this could be one of her stops.
Or maybe it's what happened to her afterward, she was sent to the real version of when she was supposed to be alive
>musashitrash
lol no, the worst stuff on fgo always involves that b***h
I'm not playing musou trash like this in any way, I would rather download Genshin Impact if I wanted bad shilled storytelling
So it looks like the human male master protagonist is Iori Miyamoto, the real Male Musashi's son.
Musashi in Fate is shown to be a dual wielder and so is our protagonist
Male Musashi is probably the old man narrating
His Son recognizes his father's sword style in this random woman he's never met
Because if they're not girls, they would have to job in an embarassing manner to literal teenagers, and he doesn't want nip folk heroes and historical figures jobbing.
I'll wait to see how it plays.
If its standard Warrior levels stuff, i think i'll pass. If its more of an adventure game with musou combat, than i'll give it a shot.
In any case, i'm patiently waiting for Extra's remake, i know it will be good, i want to believe.
In the meanwhile, should i stop being a secondary and finally read stay night? Nah.
>Nasu
No

Technically every extra game is its own separate timeline because Nasu hates you.

Try Extella
It's fun and honestly your knowledge needed to enjoy it is minimal
>extella
>fun
>especially after it ruins characters from CCC
If you find musoushit fun, then sure. I'm not brain damaged tho.
implying you've played CCC
Implying you ever played kiseki or else you wouldn't even bother with fatetrash.
Oh yeah? Well I like Musou AND I'm not brain damaged.

The 3d models look so ugly in this game, they look stiff
I was so excited that this would be something Tsukihime-related at the start of the trailer, but it just became Fateshit at the end lmao.
But Ushi is a shoe-in anon! That makes it Tsuki!
Irony aside, I would love some vampire lore in this game.
Nah, It'll just be a generic FGO-like story or Extella. I don't expect much from this.
Honestly I was assuming this would be a Fate/Type Redline situation

Arr rook same

>Fate/Samurai Remnant
i love how tm fans are so mentally ill that they genuinely think tsukihime is any better than fate
truly a fanbase of mentally ill trannies

hope for little BS, but worried it'll be more FGO garbage.
So will the game treat Musahi as the one of kind as seen in fgo 1.5 and lb or will a completely different unrelated entity?
probably before FGO to make the loss of her in FGO important.
We know Musashi was Kaleidoscoping a lot before Atlantis so this could be one of her stops.

That sounds like ass if true. Can't wait for musashi to save the day, while you have to clap about how awesome she is like in fgo.
You don't want mommy gf Musashi x Iori?
Nah. Not big on ancient Japan settings.
I just prefer the other Nasuverse settings.
Why does Nasu keep turning Japanese servants into girls?
>Raikou
>Musashi
>Ushi
>Nobu
>Okita
breasts and gudaguda sells.
Yeah but why the japanese servants specifically? It's a disproportionate amount
Because if they're not girls, they would have to job in an embarassing manner to literal teenagers, and he doesn't want nip folk heroes and historical figures jobbing.
Frick no. Type Moon's last good work was Zvezda Plot. Extra and GO ruined the company forever.
I don't support Type Cuck and their censorship.
>Fate
no, I'll still only play FGO. And by "play", I mean I log in and log out. Maybe do a summon. I don't like musou shit
I'll wait to see how it plays.
If its standard Warrior levels stuff, i think i'll pass. If its more of an adventure game with musou combat, than i'll give it a shot.

I enjoyed Extella and Link so I'll certainly keep an eye out for this one.
