Seems to just the same media tour demo coverage + interviews though.
English website was updated too.

Where is the rest 15 pages?
All I found. Apparently the interview on the following pages is just the one Famitsu already posted on the website last month.
>see ugly characters
>close magazine
Brilliant marketing if I do say so myself.
>ugly characters
Apologize to her now
>Clive can unlock various sword techniques throughout the story
>If you're having trouble, don't worry, you can unlock all of them for free!
I wonder how progression will feel in this game. They've been very open about it having a "sit back, relax and do nothing" mode.
They've also mentioned the "Final Fantasy" mode that unfortunately is locked to NG+ only.
I don't doubt that the game will have a fun hard mode like FF7R did, but we'll have to wait and see what the base game experience is I guess.
like devil may cry but as a 40 hour long jrpg. the "rpg" aspect is just the cutscenes and final fantasy shit.
DMC doesn't have equipment or ability loadouts aside from Nero's devilbreakers.
Glad to see the glove cursor is still there.
do you see hold L3 and hold R3 there? you basically play it like a DMC game not as a RPG.
What does a recommended build/upgrade path have to do with any of that?
you can beat the game by literally auto equipping everything without caring about stats or rpg elements.
Yes, if you play on journalist mode with cheat accessories and don't care about the harder dififculties or high scores.
90% of people playing final fantasy are doing a single story playthrough. they aren't going for ng+
Tell me those cringe item descriptions are not from the actual game…
it's made by the bald FFXIV guy, expect this shit throughout the entire game
They're pretty soulful
>high scores
>in FF
Pass
You can do this in every final fantasy game since 1992
I wonder why wearing the journalist mode accessories puts a little icon on your hud. Is it to shame shitty reviewers and streamers kek. Based yoship.
>Is it to shame shitty reviewers and streamers kek.
This is exactly why it's there.
I mean, you could always take the accessories off when taking screenshots, and hide the fact you abuse the easy mode accessories. But I do like that the game displays that clearly so anyone that sees gameplay can immediately tell what kind of bullshit is going on.
Interesting. I think it's strange how they're accessories and not just settings you can turn on/off. This means if you use them you can't have actual stat/ability improving accessories, and you can't have all 5 at once. If they wanted more accessibility, I think they kind of missed the mark.
But I do expect at least one article about how this is 'toxic game design' to out shitters
The cheat accessories are so overpowered that there's no point to stat/ability improving accessories.
One of them is literally auto-dodge.
Sure, but some accessories may change how you play/make the gameplay more fun (more than a stat increase, maybe you can chain phoenix shifts or something), which reduces the amount of fun a shitter can potentially have, which I don't think is good design.
Despite the easy modo I'm not sure why they limited it to accessories.
What
said. Especially since the game is already braindead af on normal, the rings aren't including the actual journo mode as well
>each summon only has 5 abilities
>clives abilities are padded with shit like jump and attack
>speculating based off of only some early game screenshots
Even games like XIII had massive unlockable trees that you didn't get to see from the very start, right? Could easily be something like, "once you have X points in Garuda, unlock the next tier of upgrades and options."
13 skill "line" is not something you want to compare it to
Just the point that it wasn't all immediately visible from the start.
Even DMC. In 5, Nero doesn’t have a full move set until you hear the game.
>XIII had massive unlockable trees
???
it was padded with stat increases and the final amount of actual spells and abilities was one of the biggest faults with the game.
Reading comprehension dipshit. I wasn't saying XIII had a wide skill tree. I said it had a hidden skill tree. If you saw a Chapter 1 version of the crystal bullshit in XIII, you would have no idea how much there actually was to unlock.
i literally quoted you.
yes, you did say that.
yes, massive, because there were a lot of fucking nodes you had to go through, and unlockable, because they were hidden, not wide.
Learn to fucking read.
You've got 8 summons, and eventually you get to mix and match their abilities. .
Wowwwww 6 abilities at a time that won't get boring
Worked fine in Dragon's Dogma.
9 including the Circle abilities, and those each seem to have contextual alternate effects.
>same ability different color
can’t wait
>square spending half of the budget on marketing and advertising
Top kek! Square is going apeshit.
that's what made XV sell
XV without marketing would've been another Forespoken, although not quite as bad
Has it? Post PC release sales are probably only due to massive discounts and Steam recommendation algorithm.
XV sold well at launch due to marketing, it was near-disaster tier quality wise. they changed a lot of it retroactively like stitching in movie scenes, the off-road car, nerfing and reworking an entire chapter, a bunch of dlcs, reworking the entire ending section etc.
by the time it hit PC it was no longer the mess it was when it came out (still not good though) and then people kept picking it up for 10 to 15 bucks
not trying to say it was a mess on the same level of Forspoken, it wasn't. but marketing absolutely carried it. especially the early sales were strongly influenced by false advertising when people expected to get a game that was long scrapped
hm
Tep
Paid to get information
Paid to get shilled
Paid to read paid content
lmfao
I'm so fucking excited for this shit. It better not disappoint me.
Can these forced threads stop already? Nobody cares about your shit fucking game.
Aren't you guys afraid you'll see too much and dilute the experience? I personally feel addicted to info but I'm sure some of you have better self-control.
I don't think they've shown that much yet, but closer to release I'm going to be more careful. I think I'll skip watching the launch trailer even if it's kino.
>caring about score
>in a FF game
I hate you monkeys.
>he didn't get 5 stars on the final bosses in XIII
you didn't beat the game
