I don't do it myself, but as far as I know gear needs to be specifically made to account for body types like that, and XIV coomers tend to have modlists hundreds of items long (some people even put a link to the modpack they're using in their profile so you can properly appreciate their diaper glam that just looks like the level 8 crafter pants to normal players).

The main obstacle is anything that drastically changes body shape is on a per-item basis because the corresponding chunk of the body is built into the clothing model, so you have to fit gear to your desired mod manually or wait for/commission someone else to do it

It's amazing really, you can tell when you're playing against people who are legit and those who are not. It's not really that hard to figure out either when you get them on your team and they are running auto ground markers and spamming the chat with macros.

If you play against cheaters, they will routinely kill you in under a second unless you pre-empt their actions with guard, and even then if you get fricked by tickrate, you just die through guard because SE servers are shit. PvP is an absolute fricking dumpster fire in this, but I can't help but be drawn to it anyway.

you may not have read my earlier posts i did enjoy the rouges guild because it was a nice departure from the msq you actually got to go around town in stealth mode stealing things

Honestly if you appreciated the rogue questline you actually might enjoy the rest of the game's writing. Specially since the writing accounts for your character doing main character things and the world reacting appropiately to it. The city state speeches are famously shit and having to deal with the c**t ARR alphinaud isn't great either though.
I can't really say to push through though since you still have a ton of shit before the story picks up. I dunno man if you're on a free trial just play it if you got nothing else to do or something

I don't think the rework was that bad. It didn't change the flow of the job all that much and PLD is overall the second best tank in the game right now for most content. And it's only second because WAR is still braindead OP and literally can't die.

Yeah, basically, though there's nothing stopping you from running around with it (if you don't care that the physics are almost definitely fricked). It's for personal vanity more than anything else.
The main obstacle is anything that drastically changes body shape is on a per-item basis because the corresponding chunk of the body is built into the clothing model, so you have to fit gear to your desired mod manually or wait for/commission someone else to do it

If you play against cheaters, they will routinely kill you in under a second unless you pre-empt their actions with guard, and even then if you get fricked by tickrate, you just die through guard because SE servers are shit. If you want to do hard content Endsinger EX was disappointing, Barbariccia EX was great and Rubicante EX is okay. As for Savage, both tiers released so far are okay.
If you want to do the Alliance raids, they are very nice spectacles, but not hard at all (I know Alliance raids are never hard, but they're not like release Orbonne or anything). The story attached to them is fun and probably the highlight so far.
The deep dungeon is not coming out for like a month, and so far it looks like just another deep dungeon
The island sanctuary is kind of fun if you like that kind of braindead Farmville/cookie clicker gameplay, but once you get to max rank it's just a spreadsheet autism simulator to maximize profits that you can avoid by copying someone else spreadsheet because it's the same for everyone.

Honestly if you appreciated the rogue questline you actually might enjoy the rest of the game's writing. Specially since the writing accounts for your character doing main character things and the world reacting appropiately to it. The city state speeches are famously shit and having to deal with the c**t ARR alphinaud isn't great either though.

I'm sure people get RECLEAR. For clear i highly doubt it but i can't be sure.
I progged with a group but their one friend was spectacularly shit and shit the bed final phase every time and doomed the run in UWU.
I got my clear and all my reclears in PF so take that for what you will, it was pretty bad sometimes though I gotta be real with you.
