But that's in line with how "writing people into reality" works in Alan Wake. All you need is that one page about the clicker and Wake writing about Zane to create the closed loop, you don't need the entire backstory of the character. If you wrote something into reality, then it must happen this way, and in order for an adult male to present the clicker to his wife, he needs to first be a baby, then a boy, then grow up and meet this wife, you know? Alan didn't write the entire script of Control, but in writing about a woman entering the Federal Bureau of Control, both of these things must exist. This closed loop is acknowledged by Remedy in Quantum Break, so you can't say it's just people misinterpreting how these pages work.
Yeah, the coolest part is that this is also addressed in a meta way. As is established in the first game, the narrative needs to be believable, it needs to follow rules, he can't just write himself out, he needs a convincing lie. Thus, he writes the events he went through as a smaller part of a much larger universe where much worse shit happens, in an attempt that this will make his escape trivial.
But if the audience was able to realize Alan wrote all of this into existence, so would the Dark Presence, and that's why he's still not out.

That was never going to happen. They've set this up for a while. Alan Wake was a response to Max Payne not being conducive for a sequel and after that every game they made was an origin story for a trilogy to avoid that problem. Alan Wake II is the Initiation part of Campbell's Monomyth, The Rescue From Without (By Saga). You can see th word Initiation in the neon lights of the first trailer.

It is, it's Alex Casey, the Max Payne stand in character Alan Wake wrote in-universe. You could interact with his books in the game and Max Payne's voice would read out the pages. Cool stuff.
About it being fully Alan, that would work if they just jumped back and forth in time with you playing with Alan already free searching for something in Bright Falls and flashbacks with him freeing himself. But I guess they found this setup more interesting. They didn't want to let go of the daylight "meet quirky characters" part of the game, and I guess just skipping the escaping part was out of the question for them.
