It "evolves" into a Pokemon that looks almost identical to its first stage. That Pokemon transforms into the big one when you switch it in battle.
finizen evolves into palafin, which looks basically the same but has an ability that lets it switch into hero form.
The evolution looks the same as the prevo but with a heart symbol on its chest. When it switches out it changes into its Hero Form.
You evolve it (Finizen) and then the evolution (Palafin) has a new form (Zero to Hero)

Area Zero has been tested with no luck. Same with several parts of the snowy mountains.

Why are we supposed to believe this anyway
The only datamine we got includes the evolution flags for each Pokemon and we can compare them with others. For example, Pawmo, the tumbleweedmon, and the dung beetle all have the same evolution method, and their parameters flags are exactly the same. On the other hand, dolphin has a unique flag, so we have no way of figuring out how to evolve it from the code, except that it doesn't match anything else, including
's list.
