I'm sorting my units by Version and I guess those would be Spring Delthea and Ascendent Tiki, this year was very underwhelming for me.

Legendary Deirdre's banner but because of how dumb it was, I spent over 800 gems trying to get the last 5 copies of Legendary Fae I needed, I was left short of one and instead I pulled 9 copies of Deirdre, the banner couldn't even give me more than just 3 Myrrh.

it's because they don't put mythics as bonus units and all the other bonus units are OC mythics + Elm. Sucks for the banner but it's good for everyone who isn't a moron and keeps at least one copy of each 4* unit (which you have no reason not to do now that we have reserves)
Thing is, Panne and Ash could have been bonuses since they are free. They just really didn't wanna make a one unit banner I guess.

Would this build work for her? Still not entirely sure about the seal, life and death is THE aoe build seal but it would take away the res she gets from the A.
I'm not a fan, she doesn't have enough Res to really take advantage of Still Water, you're better using Life and Death 4 if you want to increase her visible Atk so badly.
It's mainly as an excuse to use the fodder, really can't think of a single unit who wants still water 4.
I like it on my Guinevere but i guess it's just worse than Atk/Res finish if you don't care about the visible stats
If you aren't using Still Water on AOE spammers then it's probably good on more supportive units that can use Sabotage skills and could either avoid or even surpass Res checks from some skills if possible
I've been considering foddering a Deirdre to my Halloween Sophia but I still hold the hope that she'll be featured in a Hall of Forms.
The thing with still water is that reduces def so it doesn't work on modern tanks that use both defenses. It would be good if it took spd instead.

Ascended Idunn by far. Not even because of her being awesome on gameplay, but because of the character development. Getting to see her grow and get her soul back after al that happened to her it was so beautiful.

I rolled on that Mythic banner as well and got no copies at all (just Dimitri and everything out of colorless). Had to spark her. Thankfully for me her re-mix revival and OG revival were very good to me. She is plus nine now and I can't wait to finish her.
Same thing is happening with this legendary, already got Tiki from +3 to +8 and just with just two Ninians and a single Seior. Not sure if I should keep going since legendaries aren't good if you care about a single unit but I've been really lucky.
Had to finish Idunn on the remix too, her original banner came on a bad time since the og Idunn was having her weekly revival and I was merging her at the time.

I'm glad Eir finally got an alt. The downside is that if you fully invest in an Eir, she needs double mystic boost to have her miracle effect proc every combat. Her HP threshold is too high otherwise.

Brave Seliph is absolutely not shitty, he's one of the strongest units of that group

He's so much fun to use but that also means he's kind of obnoxious when you have to fight him, to the point where every player has to be ready to fight him in some manner. Unfortunately I'm not sure what accessible/F2P options there are for this other than Riev, but his Stall status won't be guaranteed to hit Seliph anyway.
I think both him and Chrom are the best of their CYL group, unsurprisingly they synergize kinda perfectly since Chrom can get the NFU and +1 Mov and wreck shop as well.
As for Eirika I can't say she's better or worse than Chrom, both are very powerful armour busting lance cavs but they both have their own good capabilities. Eirika has flat Canto (2) and is rather straightforward (bypassing follow-up denial and Guard naturally, 30% DR), while Chrom can only get Canto Rem+1 and will need the support of an ally at least to activate his weapon (to give him the Special charges, 40% DR, and potentially NFU if he can get that from an ally).
I've seen Eirika kill things her first hit did 0 on. It's funny.

It's primarily this honestly. Think a lot of people shat on CYL Seliph because his kit reads as "4 Mov Sigurd and Seliph's Miracle gimmick combined" which it is, and that alone would just be kind of annoying high-Mov roach shit but not very dangerous beyond being a warp beacon.
The problem is this non-Sigurd/Seliph flavored Prf text of "free Luna on every attack" which means he kills or severely hurts anything in the game he touches, coupled with the high-Mov roach shit preventing you from avoiding or diving him.

Eirika was everywhere in SD at release for a reason; unstoppable Black Luna-tier procs did the same shit CYL Seliph does, where it just fricked up every unit that didn't have sufficient DR regardless of WTA, unless they managed to get a 1CD Ignis/Bonfire bomb off and instagib her first.
I'm sure Chrom can get more ridiculous with proper setup or with mobility shenanigans in modern day SD with a human at the controls, but if you successfully bait him with WTA he just tickles them and even dies on the counter like a reasonable unit, which is a rarity these days. Hard to call him broken at all when his gimmick can be somewhat played around instead of "when unit's HP >25%".
PoL's rewards will never stop feeling insulting.

What if they made counter denial work the same way follow-up denial does?
Like let's say you give Distant Counter to a unit that already has Distant Counter, and they go up against like, Legendary Veronica or something
She denies counterattacks, so if you only had one DC, even though you'd be able to counter, you won't
But if you have TWO DCs, then you can counter TWICE, so you'd be able to retaliate against Veronica
so like null c disrupt except it only works against distant enemies
they should just make C-Disrupt not infantry locked instead of nailah's special skill or whatever they were thinking when they released it
or just actually give the rare EP cav/fliers like your pic prfs that make up for all the defensive skills they can't equip

No. I think the only way the bane you choose on a merged unit when using fruit is relevant is if someone picks it for Binding Worlds since they get the same asset/flaw that was already on the unit (of course they have no clue of knowing what the flaw was until they pick it).
It also *can* affect the order dragonflowers are distributed, if you're not going to use an amount other than a multiple of 5.
This is exactly why I made my Yuri +atk -spd, it alters his merge and DF flower distribution so that the first stat raised after HP is atk (for Lethality purposes).
But why? DFs are far easier to obtain than trait fruit.

She has Drive Def 2 at 4* (was already on Nanna), and Sabotage Spd at 5* (which was previously locked to Ewan). Elice is unironically the better fodder unit, since she has Atk/Res Ideal 3 (previously available, but only on Grail units, also Winter Annette has it at 4*) and Trilemma+ (was previously only on Maribelle).

She's arguably got the best stat spread out of all the infantry staff demotes we've ever had, but until we get an Arcane staff that means frick all.
Speaking of, what would be a good Arcane staff? Should it be offense focused (say, Wrathful and Dazzling Staff built in, refines are just for stats)?
Or should it be support focused? Maybe both?
I hope it's offense focused. Staves are supposed to be support, but if it's too good then it would just make all the staves feel completely samey.
The speed is what makes Nyna good, though if said potential arcane staff has an autodouble then Serra (at max flowers) would be better.
Oh, I just realized, every Arcane weapon is -1 Special, and there are no -1 Special staffs
Balm+ Specials are already 1 charge, would they just be permanently always active? Would 1 charge just be the upper limit? That's kinda interesting to think about
Having them always be active would mean being able to heal and buff on command, though I really don't think that'd be broken or anything these days, and infantry staffs can sort of do that with Time's Pulse anyway
*if* we get an Arcane staff, -1 Special cooldown would probably be one of the effects missing, unless they do something goofy like give staves access to non-standard specials.
Providing the Staff isn't the exception to the CD-1 weapon rule, then yes, it would be permanently charged. I've seen it done with Time's Pulse builds coupled with one of the movement healing assists and it was annoying as hell to fight.

I don’t mind themed banners but having the same unit type year after year is what I hate. Halloween was one of my favorite banners until it’s all dragons. We used to have fun designs like mad scientist L'Arachel, Nekomata Sakura, and Minotaur Dorcas and all of them were different weapon and movement types. I just want the banners to throw curve balls and surprise us.

I've never really tested it but I want to think it's literally just a title check. Since duos/harmos have two titles, Tana should trigger it no matter what because her titles are "Sacred Stones/Heroes". I don't have Tana though so I can't check for myself.
You get an honourary 10/10 for having all the Heroes paired units and even having a way to make them into a coherent team if you really wanted. Of course I hope that you will be using them in the real premier endgame mode that is Aether Resort?

Also you need a non-Heroes OC to activate Askr's C skill.

Not really, Askr and Ash if you desperately want their support C skills off season I guess.
If you really want to use a flying or cavalry Beast with Canto (and staying permanently transformed) there's Elm I guess but that skill will probably be on something else in the future

Feel like an absolute nuFE casual brainlet right now, but god damn this fatass is actually unbeatable for the median team if he spawns with a bunch of rally/ranged supports hiding 2+ spaces behind him, 70~80 attack just tink tinks off him while he brute forces through 60~70 Res tanks himself
Obviously I can bring some colorless counterpick to him or some warp dancer/self-dancing bullshit to canto around sniping the others, but if I can't just outplay the AI put a team of random old favorites with WTA coverage, it already feels like I've completely lost
The problem is that even if you counterpick, your team is more likely to die along the way if you auto through the whole thing. I just accept that my tank team is likely to die, and clean up with my second team. Still feels like a loss though.

Doing it manually, yes, but if you're trying to autobattle it the AI (for some reason) prioritizes going for Askr even though he's basically unkillable when surrounded by allies.

a one of Surtr with Armor Boots seal is still great for most Heroic Ordeals, as niche of a use as that may be.

Forget Rein, even old bladetomes from release and refined mages post-initial supershitter batch will still kill 90% of threats that aren't Edelgard variants as long as they're not punching the wrong way on the triangle

People greatly underestimate what older units are capable of. For example, once she triggers the Brazens, this Celica is still sapable of dishing out serious damage even now, even more so if she had something like Def/Res Smoke 4 or Special Spiral 4.
The only reason she tends to have trouble with solo + dancering modern abyssals is because there often isn't a unit she can easily initiate on to take the damage and instantly get brazen status without suiciding.

Olivia and Silvia are a couple of the most dated units and dancers in the game and I still find uses for them outside of dancing, even before Arcane Éljúðnir was a thing. Olivia with Flame Gunbai is an iron wall of Def, and Silvia with a Ninja Katana/Florid Cane is a speedy Galeforcing menace. I'm still soloing some of the Limited Hero Battles with them...

I actually liked lif/thrasir's weapons for that reason. They might hurt their own allies, but that is something that can be used for you if you have the right team.

Inheritable player phase options have generally kept up with the game's times. Breaking the coveted 50 atk line was a big deal in year 1~2, I remember shitting their pants when MGrima could scrape 60, but now you can slap a T4 A-slot, B canto/lull, and C/S generic offensive and give any longrange offensive unit +20 atk/spd. Depending on their inheritables and refines even an ancient mage can scrape 90-100+ atk.
It's older inheritable EP options that haven't scaled at all. Consider how we've gone from ~35 Def/Res being considered high at release, to a dedicated slow unit like NY Ashe just now at 44/40. Even if you swapped her C and S for defensive inheritables, she's going to cap around 60/50, where the above gen 1 mage could still one-shot her if it weren't for the extra dozen Prf effects she had. Something like, I don't know, a Fae back around 50/50 or whatever isn't winning any skirmishes, I watched mine tussle with a NPC cavHardin the other day and nearly die while he bounced away at nearly fully HP.

In any case, it's a DC refine, the most I'll expect is more Atk/Def/Res for Altina, or an Atk/Def debuff on the foe, and then like, Special accel per foe's attacks so she can retaliate with Twin Blades, and that's it

Nta but I think what he means is the true damage reduction that Brave Dimitri and Askr get, ie 20% of your defensive stat as flat DR (which can't be pierced by Deadeye and similar effects), which is what makes the aforementioned two kind of obnoxious to fight sometimes
It'd be really big if true but imagine if Altina got -1 Special, even if it was literally just that. Not only would that mean Twin Blades becomes even easier to activate but it would also mean being able to Galeforce well if say, she WoMs next to Thorr, or she has Heavy Blade, or if she has the Special accel status.
Res based true DR sounds good too though, because with the DR in Ashera's Chosen II and the Atk debuff from Hold I think they maybe intend for Altina to at least take a hit before getting into Vantage range and hopefully Vantage-ing everything from there.
We'll find out in a few days or however long though.

Beast Agility is nice but it's only for faster Beasts, and Beast Near Trace is only on cavalry and flier Beasts for now. I propose the following:

Nah, she's already got her own Canto, and Far Trace feels hard to use on ranged units because it's just Canto Rem which means you're never guaranteed to retreat

Doesn't actually grab audio internally so much as it records from the mic, so you have to sit somewhere quiet and play with the sound on, but I've never had issues with hearing the output on my recordings.

If it makes you feel better, Armors can't inherit Bonus Doubler anyway. The only way for them to get the buff is through L!Eliwood.
Harmonic Edelgard and Fallen Tiki have access to bonus doubler through their Harmonic skill and weapon respectively.

Assuming the enemy actually has Atk bonuses (which, it seems like AR teambuilding/modern units don't really give a shit about panic anymore, at least in my recent experience), you should break even with DD4 in the worst case? Negating a +6 to Atk +1 extra Def/Res x2, versus healing 7x2.
DD4 also comes out ahead if the threat is one specific unit that can potentially one-round your tank, versus attrition. Or if they have some sweep or NFU effect preventing your second counter, which every pain in the ass offensive unit has these days.
It could potentially frick over Ideal users but most use movement buffs that I've seen. Maybe units like Marth who scale with total buffs, hypercarry speedtank Marths used to be a pain in the ass in SD at release though you probably won't see him anymore
The stat increasing effect will be negated if the unit is affected by Panic or the unit has their Status Effect bonuses removed by a source of status effect neutralization. *Not own words. So in other words you gain nothing if someone has stat neutralization but are able to still gain buffs through normal stat debuffs.

You mean like Unity skills?
No, more like if someone chilled you for -7 stats and you had a blue buff of 6 because of BD you'd normally get 12 to that stat. Even though the debuff was more than stats gained you'd at least come out with +5 stats since you had a blue buff affecting you. If you were panicked on the other hand BD doesn't activate.

I could also use a team of more recent units, with more recent skills, and only one unit with an unrefined 3 year old PRF. That being said 3 of them have summoner support, and florets.

Nah, I think they realize that was a mistake. I don't think we'll get flooded, but I do think we'll have probably 1.5x or more the amount of Engage characters in FEH by next January than we did 3H characters in FEH by July of the next year. At the very least, we're getting Mythic Toothpaste's mom and 3-4 banners, and probably a seasonal banner or two's worth of units.
Especially because they can put Rearmed versions of the Lords (or characters Engaing with a lord) on Engage banners to help carry them, while also feeling less like Engage shilling since there would be old characters on the banner too.

Not at all, I think she does a good job of differentiating the two, but it is funny to just see one VA credited for two characters.
Even Wood and Marth would be fun, since his Yuri Lowenthal goes for a more serious, deeper tone for Eliwood, while Marth sounds as princely and noble as you'd expect him to.

I'd honestly throw a vote toward Sothis if it were not potentially Bernie's last chance at winning. Also I don't see a Dragon character winning unless they're named Tiki or main Lord status like Corrin and Alear. But it could always be votes to tell IS for more alts which I'd be down for. Truthfully want a harmonic Sothis/Yune a goddess duo.
Sadly I think our chance for that harmonic has come and gone. We had our chance this previous summer and got Edelgard/Altina instead, which was as polar opposite to Sothis/Yune as we could get.
I think there is one last chance for it. The last character they may give a summer alt too would be male Byleth so Sothis could appear but I doubt it'd be with Yune as a harmonic since as mentioned Summer Edelgard. So unless they create a new type of banner it won't ever happen and Yune is more likely to the front unit since she lacks alts and Sothis already is a front unit to a duo from Halloween.

Jehenna, Nabata, Thebes, Yied, Desert stronghold in Valentia. The issue isn't hte lack of deserts, it's the lack of defined/distinct culture around some of them.
Yied from Jugdral has Lopt Cults, and is close to Isaach, and Jehenna has a few character, but the rest are lacking a lot.

The base effect already describes what a [Bonus] is anyway, and Ephraim's near guaranteed to have that condition active all the damn time because of having both Odd Atk Wave in his base kit and Even Tempest in the weapon

I think Time's Pulse checks first because it'll check to see if your Special count is at max after combat, then it'll grant you that charge, and then Special Spiral grants you two more charges

No, sticking with his prf for true damage. But he does have it inherited.
There's no clause about having to kill the enemy with the Special; all SS requires is that the Special activates (and isn't Galeforce). Whether or not SS and TP4 go off simultaneously though is a mystery, because I learned from unfortunate experience that Spendthrift Bow's effect doesn't work that way (it procs after SS, ensuring it always uncharges the Special).
Making TP4 proc after SS to dick over 3CD/4CD Special spam builds does sound like something IntSys would do, so be wary of that possibility. I hope it works though, because Sanaki with a guaranteed Glacies every combat and Phina Vantage-spamming Draconic Aura/Vital Astra sounds hilarious.
I think as long as Sanaki has, say, Arcane Eclipse she should be able to always have Glacies active once she gets Special Spiral going, no? Glacies is 3 charge, Spiral and TP4 provides 3 charges if they stack

any one you've been using swift sparrow 3 on. it's kind of shit really, if your ranged nuke isn't killing on the first hit in 2023 then what are you even doing
if you want a onehit kill, then surely Death Blow 4 is better than Swift Sparrow 3?
If you're using SS it's because you need to double and so the DR on this helps ensure you get your second hit
Broadly speaking any ranged nuke who wants to have a speed stat that doesn't have some kind of way of ensuring the kill before the enemy gets to do something

Plum got to 6th in CYL 4 against brand new 3H characters, and that was just from her meme title. Gullveig has a hot design, and some fanservice with that trailer/first chapter so it's possible she could have gotten around the same placement.
There have been a decent amount of comments about people planning to swap to her in midterms if she was high enough, but didn't because IS changed it. It's a shame too because the meme surge would have really helped.

It's not bad, but it's primarily a defensive tool. Lewyn has his Desperation so the defensive aspect probably won't help him much.

Even if they added Dragon Wall 4 with higher DR, QR, Guard and some 4th effect built-in, new units you'd want to tank already come negating all of those at once.

If we're still talking about TT, I feel ranged nukes aren't great to deploy unless you aren't auto-battling for some reason since they can get themselves killed easily. My only 2-range unit I bring is an Absorb healer.

I do the daily 2-3 runs manually, since auto-battle is too unreliable. Even the best defensive units will suicide into an enemy they can't beat, especially with a tough boss like Askr. I usually run an omni-tank (B!Tiki or B!Dimitri right now), a ranged nuke, a support/healer, and the bonus unit. Pretty brainless and reliable.

My point with pulling out the dragon team, and listing all those ranges/archetypes, is that it doesn't seem like EP dragons have anything that doesn't completely counter their weapon/stat combo these days in PvE, to say nothing of PvP. Even the ones I have enormous SI on, like with Arcane Grima + various T4 skills, still struggle with or get straight up one-rounded by those matchups above.
Like yeah, as you said, a single low investment ranged nuke would probably solve the problem and do better (or at worst, equal in that it also loses) in almost all of these cases. Hence the weapon type/archetype needing fixes, not that IS seems interested in doing so.
Almost never have any problems autobattling tt. Includes teams with ranged nukes or bonus units or whatever.

Death Knight 's refine is the Arcane Sword but with extra stats and no Guard. Kinda worried about Sigrun's refine next month.
Claude seems to be winner here, they made him pretty self sufficient with his long ass range menace-like effect AND a fairly high DR
Altena got a decent refine for people who like to use her for Galeforce.
Sirius got a lot of stats and full NFU on both phases which is actually pretty rare for non-infantry units, that's nice.
W!Sothis is the same as the base version except she got half of NFU and extra stats but still no Sirius+ so RIP.
Leif is alright, the tempo is very appreciated, kinda wish they focused his stat gains into Atk instead of spreading it to all his stats, what is +4 speed going to do for him?

Can anyone explain what NFU actually does? As well as Null C-Disrupt because whenever I think it will do something it gets disrupted or the enemy does a follow up. This game taught me I have the english reading comprehension of of a 4 year old, in a third world country, from a timeline where english never existed. Can anyone provide like a moron proof use case? Or do? do NFU null each other out? It all makes no fricking sense but I have a few of them in barracks like "this is useful I'm sure of it!" but then I have no idea who the frick could make use of it.

these are probably not the best examples but they are what came to my mind first
Pretty much any effect that "cheats" the Spd check gets neutered by Null Follow-up. So "guaranteed follow-ups" and "can't make a follow-up attack" effects gets neutered, it's effective both offensively AND defensively. When people say "Half NFU" that means you either block follow-up attacks or the enemy can't block yours, but not both at once (Many ranged mounted units have this)
Here's a important fact: when you have "guaranteed follow-up attack" and the enemy has "foe can't make follow-ups attacks" in combat, it becomes a Spd check. If you have even 1 more Spd than your opponent, they get doubled, and if they're faster you get cucked. Which is why some people use those effects (recently from Arcane weapons) as a "Pseudo-NFU" so fast units won't get cucked.
Null Counter Disrupt is exactly what is says, any "foe cannot counterattack" effect gets canceled (Dazzling Staff, A!Joshua, A!Veronica and so on).

I wanted to correct myself earlier since I was wrong about that. In that particular case, it becomes a regular Spd check so you need 5 more Spd.
There's a lot of variables, it can get pretty complicated, so if you want to test it for yourself, open up Mass Duel Simulator, pick a -Spd Lucina and +Spd Lyn, give them both the Arcane Sword and play around with it
Basically turns off any skill slow units would use, came out back around when they decided they were done marketing dual phase armors if I recall. So Bold Fighter's initiation double, Vengeful/QR's counter double, Wary's anti-double etc all get disabled.
Biggest use case these days is disabling defensive measures/counter picks against new releases. Take B!Eirika at release, she was designed to always proc her special on her second hit and do massive damage on proc, so the counterplay would be to spec your units to either prevent her double or guard her double. So she comes with NFU and Null Guard built in to ensure she killed 95% of units on release instead of only like 70%.
As that example highlights though, it's generally more useful as an extra effect on the laundry list of Prfs these days than actually taking up a slot. It'd have to be inherited to someone from the sweet spot release era where they're still fast and strong enough to kill 90% of shit in the game now, if only they could double, but IS decided not to just give it to them for free.

Most mediocre batch we've gotten in a while, especially considering the powercreep overdrive new banners are hitting.
For comparison, the highest atk+spd total so far was W!BK at 88, who at least had the excuse of being an armor with high BST. K!Linde pushes that to 89 and she's a ranged cav who also gets to ignore terrain. Disgusting.
Also the highest atk for a ranged unit is 44, and that's usually reserved for units with mediocre speed like V!Chrom, Arval, and B!Lilina. Ignore that L!Shez and A!Celica get 43 atk and high spd.

If Arcane Grima is out of your reach, then you can build around her prf and exploit Debuffs.
I used this in Arena before Arcane Grima, you can make a more defensive build with Smokes too, or have someone else do it (like Jeralt, Aversa, anyone that can debuff from anywhere on the map) while you focus on offense.

So unless you really need it as fodder or final merge you're better off next time the unit reappears when you saved more orbs. Because for all you know you threw all your orbs to get pity broken by a unit like Galzus on red or Dieck on green. Or worse raise the pity rate higher and not obtaining anything.

As far as I know when these tier lists come out they only account for base kits for their placements. Well they do that for some of them, once Laslow was Tier 1 due to one of the creator's bias so they obviously accounted for best skills and support which obviously most other units who were objectively better didn't get. So take the list with a grain of salt.
The list accounts for Arcane weapons, I believe, which is why they use "generic" icons for prflets that don't have any special traits (Like Guy and Kamui are pretty much the same unit) and probably anyone with such an outdated prf but you'll most likely replace with something better.
Green is speedy stat spreads and yellow is for defensive ones.
I don't know what the faded portraits are supposed to represent

The only ones released so far are Edelgard and Bernie, IIRC. I think the next set was Dimitri and Felix and after that is Claude and Lysithea (might have them mixed up though). No announcement on any of the Ashen Wolves as far as I know, but I'd be willing to bet they'd go Yuri/Hapi if they did do them.
It's neat, but the fricking shoulder buttons (not the triggers or the back buttons) went out within a few weeks on mine. Apparently this was only an issue on the initial batch, and they sell improved replacement shoulder buttons for relatively cheap, but I'm not paying for shipping and waiting a month to then have to take it apart and fix it myself. Definitely not the build quality I'd expect from a $300 product, at the very least. As far as performance, it runs all of the Gamecube games I've thrown at it nearly flawlessly, Wii well enough to play Mario Kart Wii (MKWii is weird because it lags HARD when you're in the pre-race camera panning part, but the second you get control of your kart it goes up to a smooth 60 FPS) and Radiant Dawn, but I haven't tried much else on Wii, but PS2 is VERY hit or miss, with some games running at full speed with 2x resolution and some games running at 50% speed at 50% native resolution. If you're looking into getting one of these, I'd recommend checking out Taki Udon or Retro Game Corps on Youtube for their setup guides. Also, Daijisho is a must. The frontend makes or breaks an emulation handheld, IMO, to the point where I didn't even want to use my Odin anymore until Daijisho was released and made the user experience on par with using an actual video game console.

Damn do I hate summoning sometimes. Just to get the final merge for my unit I had to spend almost 200 orbs because the game decides to throw me every 5* it can resetting my rate. Thus forcing me to bank off a 3% chance at all times. This really set me back orb wise because I had only expected it to take no more than 130 orbs had I became unlucky.

The art from FEH artists is always fun. For additions/changes It would be nice to see the Summoner playable in more modes, the ability to change the lead in a duo, or better rates for old seasonal units.

Need some advice here. I've recently pulled a Gustav and was wondering if I should sack him to my Jeralt for Trace and smoke 4 skill or just keep him how he is for Arena? Before anyone says Catch 4 Jeralt already has it.
I haven't added Jeralt to my Arena team yet since I haven't gotten the final free copy from his revival as yet. But if you're not using a tier 4 B slot then Trace is a much more practical skill for Arena since mobility is already heavily restricted due to having to run nothing but rallies.
Yeah I don't have access for a tier 4 B skill as of yet so I guess I'll give him trace so he can hit and run targets.

In comparison to other skills it is very much a side grade to the better A skills like Catch, Ideal, unity and etc. Which provide far more stats, utility, and are dual phase. But it is very much an upgrade to Swift sparrow 3 due to it's extra point in atk and gains DR on initiation.

I doubt they'll ever give away a free Otherworldly bond, it has the same issue that the Resplendent Ticket has (they can't give these out because then players who stay subscribed to Feh Pass would be incentivized to unsubscribe from Feh pass). You can only ever use one Otherworldly Bond per event, so giving out a free one means they either can't offer one for that event, or whales who would be buying it for the event have no incentive to, as they can't use them both.

Depends on how much you really need or want her capabilities, support, or fodder. For what it's worth, her ability to give NFU (and the unimpeded movement status) basically for free and to any unit type is pretty neat. If you feel like you really need that, go for it.
