Which "if unit exists" activation do you prefer for your units? There's:

most months have 2 banners, January and December together average 2.5 thanks to New Year's. It'll calm down with February.
December and January tend to get loaded with banners (iirc in 2021 they ran DSH back to back in November/December) for the holiday/New Years spending market.

I guess ≥25% activation is the best because usually if you are under 25% HP the unit was probably already going to die. Second would be having an ally within 3 spaces since in most game modes you hope/try not to lose an ally to keep the effect active and 3 spaces is rather forgiving and usually keeps allies out of danger.

Even most Yugioh cards aren't as complicated as some FEH prfs, and we're regularly getting units that have busted prfs with 4+ effects and then a prf passive with 3 effects.

I would honestly prefer an Engage banner, if for no other reason than that it wouldn't have any Ascended or Rearmed heroes so I wouldn't have to spark. My orbs need to recover.

Does Ullr still hold up? I've sort of wanted her for a while.
She doesn't really offer any support to allies, which makes her a pretty bad offense mythic. She's not good in galeforce teams because she'd have to give up her prf B skill for WoM and she obviously can't run galeforce. But she can still be useful for clean up in hit and run teams, for example.
Outside of AR, she's a decent tank buster however keep in mind that L!Shez exists and pretty much does the same job but better.

"ally within three spaces" is the best for anything that isn't a cav tbh.
I don't really like "if unit's HP > 25%", especially in SD, you get hit by an AoE and suddenly half your team becomes useless. I also wish Thorr's prf didn't have that condition, I run her as a WoM beacon with double fury and keeping her HP above 25% after a round of combat isn't always possible.

While Atk/Spd Ideal just boosts Atk and Spd, Spd Smoke is a Spd buff/debuff swing (and more Dodge)
Alear's PRF sword has Spd-based DR in it, like Yen'fay's. Slap on VA/GF and she just pulls +21 phantom Spd out of her ass to aid her DR.
Whether or not Smoke 4's buff counts is a good question though, I don't think we've had any skills with this interaction before.
Nevermind, I'm a goddamn idiot. I just realized that the way the skill reads is the EXACT SAME as the Phantom Spd seal, so it's just an invisible Spd+7 for calcs from the skill alone and that's it.
Would you be surprised that I don't actually use Phantom Spd at all and wouldn't know this off the top of my head?

Alear's spd would add up to 113 effective spd when calculating for dodge in her best conditions. Can any other hero reach that height of spd to counter this? My fastest hero with all skills in effect only reaches 86 effective spd.

Funny, I consider LHBs to be one of my most hated modes, second only to Tap Battles. It makes me feel like I'm being punished for not liking certain games (or for not liking the characters from those games).
That is understandable, I struggle a lot on FE6 LHB because my unit pool is so shit for that one.
It's getting worse month after month because we're now dealing with even harder maps with a limited pool of heroes, we already get two Abyssal maps per month, three if you count the very old GHBs like Robin or Narcian.

So Flashing Blade would be to ensure that she can activate Galeforce after her two strikes

Not necessarily, even though Seteth will probably get a refine later this year, I don't think it'll be combat focused since it's already got support capabilities built in.
Meaning they'll probably add another support effect, and maybe some extra stats or something to help in combat, but the Arcane Lance would probably be better for combat since the combination of Omnibreaker and Special accel, while not exciting, would still be better than whatever Spear of Assal gets.
That said, I do have another good candidate for the lance in Summer Norne, who is also maxed out, and doesn't actually have a prf. Two Alfreds would be ideal, but I think they made him colour share with Chloe probably for this exact reason.

If you do full circles on a normal banner with 4 tickets, it's 135 orbs
If you do full circles on THIS banner with its 9 tickets, it's 110 orbs
If you snipe on this banner, it's between 110 (if you get godly luck and every circle is 5 colors you want to pull) and 150 (if you get the worst case scenario and every single circle has 1 or 0 orbs you want to pull).

Sparking on a banner with no tickets is between 155 orbs (assuming full circles) and 195 orbs (assuming one orb pulled on each circle)
My smooth math brain tells me you cant count it that way and that the cost of a spark could be different then how many orbs the spark is actually worth.
If you are +10ing a unit it would on avarage cost you some number of orbs without a spark. But if you can spark the cost of a +10 would be the same as a +9 and how many orbs the spark is worth would be the avarage amount of orbs needed to summon 1 copy of the unit.
At least that makes more sense to me.

It took an hour or two at least. She had to eat a NY!Ash, but I was planning to do that. I also had to feed her a Gustav which WASN'T planned, but I should hopefully have another Atk Smoke 4 fodder by the time the unit who needs it (Mirabilis) gets a remix.

I have Chloe but her weirdly low HP feels off putting, and otherwise, she ultimately just has a ton of stats, and you HAVE to run her alongside two other units in a Support partner pair, which also means she will do nothing in the hands of the AI
NFU is also a Seal now, although it's probably one in high demand since there's lots of units that can put it to good use
Bulwark can be good on her though, since she already gets DR in the weapon, so Bulwark can provide another stat swing and also healing

Seriously, I was planning to get Dragon Wrath 4 on F!Femui on the next HoF but now I'm going for Special Spiral 4 and Time's Pulse 4.
The roided up one in story mode actually felt pretty tame by modern standards, by which I mean my tanky blue unit took like 4 hits to actually get rid of her but at least she didn't straight-up flip the matchup or take 90% off my blue
The engage banner kicked my butt. Even with the reduced cost I assumed I'd get at least one 5* before the spark but I got exactly nothing not even a 4* special. My luck isn't looking so good so far this year.

Mine isn't great either (it relies on Catria even though you can bring Elimine in Chaos). I just mean in comparison to other seasons, it does the best. So far 1/5 of my defenses failed to kill a single unit. I still need to update mine since Amelia is still using her shitty Prf even though she has Arcane axe. I've also considered switching Summer Linde to either Duo Linde or Desert Ursula and Laevatein to e-girl Mia.

Is there a reason other than "she's not a cavalry unit"? Being able to neutralise A/S penalties and get 6-8 A/S sounds like a good deal. I'm aware that it's not as good on a 2 mov unit, but I was hoping for a more concrete reason against the choice other than that, like maybe "X skill is a better fit"?
I want to apologise in advance since I think I wasn't clear enough with my initial question, so I'd like to rephrase it.
I'm looking for a speed based A slot for Lumera that gives a large boost while also being resistant to stat swings from enemy units. To me, it seems like A/S Clash 4 is the best fit for the things I am looking for. Is this assessment correct? If not, is there a better A skill I can use?
If you feel like penalty neutralization is a must have, you either go with unity or clash. It's hard to say which one is better if you don't have a particular game mode and team in mind.
I'm actually not sure as to what modes I'd use her in, either. I just saw her and said "I want that". In terms of modes that require high investment builds, maybe Arena and PoL, though if speed DC is more useful I can give her that instead. I'll also probably use her for Abyssals (though not for soloing.. maybe).

Unity is my second choice but I currently don't have A/S Unity sitting around, and I also dislike that it only gives +5 if there's no penalty.
That tentative test with Clash and Oath might help me in a different way as I've also been debating Oath vs Menace.

I tested it out with my HoF Laeg, and with Bunny Vero warp. Laeg is going from +7 to someone next to her to +9 by warping through Vero. I'm guessing it works, but I'm also seeing extra stats on the battle calc that I can't figure out where they are coming from. hope it helps.

Picrel is sort of the best I ever did due to lack of creativity and budget units. Hall of forms has made some more budget dreams become real though.

Byleth is still good, he has NFU and can give NFU but it is also a Seal now, and a status
But he can still pierce through DR with Sublime Heaven, so he'll always have that as a niche, just slap a Sweep skill of your choice and you're good to go
After the spark with my pulls getting what I want(A Corrin and a Lyn for fodder) I'm honestly not sure what else I'd want on the free summon, Lucina and Leif are sorta tempting. I might pick Corrin again for that Finish fodder.
By the way, does Ascended Mareeta work with Godlike Reflexes or is it better making her a VA/Galeforce user?

I was kind of debating on whether or not to go with Lyn for my free pick to fodder to Mareeta, but I went with Celica for the Floret
Still, Mareeta's Quickened Pulse and built in Special Spiral should ensure that she can have it looped as long as she avoids Guard (though she can also just run Tempo in her B slot), if I understand it all right

I do have a spare Ascended Hilda myself so I might give it a shot. Thanks, anon.
NTA, if you intend on running Godlike reflexes on her, instead of Velocity you should consider Time's pulse 4. In addition to keeping her special ready after every round of combat, she'll also have it fully charged on turn one, which is fundamental.
And then she'll have a free B slot for Close Call 4 or Bulwark.
Oh I never considered it actually. I'll definitely keep that in mind, although I'm running low on orbs here. Thanks.

Pretty much the same rates as any legendary banner if you're summoning for a specific unit. Blue focus units are slightly easier to summon and the opposite goes for green focus units, but you can see how insignificant difference is:

Honestly it is pretty stacked, as the other anon says, Marth isn't particularly special, I would say that legendary miciah is pretty mid too, but if are looking to fill out your barracks a bit, I would absolutely say it is worth it. Everybody has at least one good skill to fodder. Going for a specific unit of a given color comes with the standard warnings that it always does for b8% banners though (except maybe for blue, because both of those units are absolutely great for fodder, so even your consolation prize will be great)

as a relatively new player, I feel inclined to ask what would you say is the best pick from this AHR engage cup?
Hard to say, as I don't know what gaps you need filling, but I'll narrow it down a bit for you:
Sigurd is a generically good choice from a gameplay perspective, if not from a skill fodder perspective. His unique skills allow you to do some truly wonky bullshit, and will be a good way of powering up an aether raid defense map
Flame tribe lyn is a solid enough lance infantry, which is a fairly unique niche, and comes with one-of-a-kind excellent skill fodder.
Valentines lucina is a solid close save unit that will help out immensely in content clearing, and has some good skill fodder otherwise.
Halloween corrin is a pretty good unit with a versatile arrangement of excellent skill fodder.
Groom roy is another good unit from a content clearing perspective. Having a good unit with canto is always good, and he will kill most of what you point him at. Also has some solid skill fodder.

His duo skill is also great if you're an Elibegay
There's no must have support or offensive unit here so if you don't have a particular favorite I'd say one of the legendaries because they become bonus units once in a while.

I'm only building her for the inevitable Engage LHBs because I don't plan on rolling for any of that game's characters.
Because her skill set doesn't lend very well to Godlike Reflexes tanking. Even Vital Astra would be a stretch for her due to no Slaying.
Forgot to say that lack of Slaying, Special Spiral, and Time's Pulse means that she also doesn't benefit from the secondary effects of Attack/Speed Finish. Basically you dumped a lot of premium skills on her but they were the wrong premium skills.
It's weird to say that a free godsword with NFU, Guard, true damage, and DR is just good and nothing more
But the lack of -1 Special is incredibly damning for such types of units, because you lose out on being able to have near permanent uptime (or basically permanent uptime with Time's Pulse 4) with say, Vital Astra
Meanwhile her daughter gets a billion Atk and Spd, up to 80% DR or something with all of her DR effects, Charge
She's just another red sword infantry GHB that will get powercreeped by the next sword infantry GHB
On the bright side she's an Engage character so it will help in future Limited HB

Nevermind. Looks like even if you have Lull, a foe's reversed blue buffs will still be active, so I guess Panic Smoke 4 should be his best C skill.

Having spectrum Drive is nice, but the follow-up denial is niche. Every unit that wants it already has it, and it's only getting easier to get past it. You'll get more mileage out of her as an offensive unit than as support, although she's basically a worse version of her ascendant.

Lately this has been the case. My most recent aquisitiion is pic related. Had no intention of using the forma on her as she is not a personal favorite but after aquiring my first copy of her on a free arena ticket this week I decided to pick her up and make her a side project. Her support abilities are just top notch. Been building a lot of premium dragons from scratch lately so the extra help is quite appreciated. Now down to one free forma left and Fallen Female Corrin and Brave Camilla are showing up soon so the extra souls honestly would be very valuable to me.

I have been curious about this since the day the forma dropped, but I still have no idea.
I don't have anyone on my friends list with one out, but just from checking rankings like AR and SD there are some forma units around that don't have the mark. I haven't turned them off in my settings yet so it seems likely it doesn't show to other players.
I also used my Forma on Nah; I find that her support capabilities (being able to grant the Special charging status and possibly NFU to other infantry with her C skill) are always gonna be helpful in some manner

With great shame I regret to inform you about 200. I started with the feh pass. Then I got a job and discretionary income that I dont spend. After the Roth IRA is maxed out I get forma eggs for good HoF shit and then sometimes customization packs. I used to never want to spend but then after gainful employment, maxing out employer 401K contributions and finally breaking 100K in investments i said frick it. I literally have played this game every day since release it is one of the few things that brings me mirth. So I took the frick it pill and started rolling.

Are you counting the ascended stat you gave your Fjorm and Idunn as a Floret or something? Because Ascended units get ascended stats without the need of a Floret.
Every time you get an Ascended Hero, you will get a Floret but only for the first time you get 'em. Any subsequent summon will still let oyu ascend one of their stats for free, that's just an inherent trait of Ascended Heroes.

Just check the scores of your +10s. More merges = higher scoring.
If you don't have any merged units, use your newest units like Alear, since they have high BST and that also affects scoring.

SPD Smoke 4 is pretty damn good on her. Especially if you have Dragon's Wrath 4 in the B slot. I would keep it especially if you intend to merge her up in the future.

They really need to name this shit. The Special accel status from Legendary Xander and Nah, the unimpeded Mov from the Sage of Khadein banner, the warp/Orders buff from various units, technically none of these have any fricking names.
Honestly they could probably skip having to name it if they just dropped the stupid "doesn't affect rokkr" shit. I don't know why they are so fricking obsessed with making sure these skills don't break a non-competitive gamemode that is already fricking solved, but here we are.
It's really baffling too, because they could just slap that onto the Rokkr's Special itself!

These skills are getting yugioh paragraph tier and I was already ignoring them when they said some stupid shit like +3 speed and sucks wiener for crack in the back of the Costco based on res +1 > or = opponents health if at 100% hp or greater than 1% hp or on a map with other player units at start of turn during combat (not rokkr area affect skills) grants -1 cool down non stacking and dagger 1
(Dagger 1 sucks ass and like affects one unit and reduces their defense by 1 point before we updated daggers to not be complete shit)

I honestly wish daggers were like staves on what kind of debuff it could inflict. It'd be kind of cool if they could inflict debuffs such as negate DR, exposure, or any other kind of debuff you can think of. We only got rearmed and and ascended heroes because before them new heroes banners where in the same place that mythic/legendary banners are now. They performed extremely poorly.
So it makes sense that IS will repeat what they did and introduce some new hero type to make the underperforming banners more attractive.

They have become so homierdly. I remember during the first anniversary when we got fifty orbs upfront and fifty orbs through anniversary quests and a year worth of GHB Revivals one and two quests that gave us 40 to 80 orbs in total once completed. Not to mention they use to double us up on login orbs in the January leading up till the big event. I mean a not even a forma soul or two a fricking celestial stone. Give a break. I'm at about five hundred orbs right now and I almost feel compelled to save them for the rest of the month out of spite.

If you have to spark before hitting your target, the spark does basically nothing except being a slightly below average pull.
Sparking after you've hit your target once in the 40 summons means that your orb count per target suddenly halved.
I got +Atk Formortiis in 8 summons. I kinda wanted Arval for my AR-D though oh well ran out of orbs to continue anyway.

I think both Three Houses and Three Hopes are both effectively considered the same title in all but name, as they're also all grouped together, just like (New) Mystery and Shadow Dragon

C-can no one tell me about Aversa's usefulness in current gen? Should I take it to mean she's fallen off hard as a support unit?
It is kind of hard to evaluate, since we are kind of shifting between metas at a fast rate these days. Being able to debuff things with aversa is worse than a coinflip chance because there are just so many factors that can frick her over, from unpredictable AI, to enemies not even having blue buffs to panic, and so forth.
She's a little annoying in arena I guess

And she's support first and foremost so it's not like she really needs anything combat oriented (which are usually A skills)
You may as well give her the duel 4 because to be honest duel 4 has fallen off and isn't even really useful for scoring anymore. May as well give it to one of the very few units who actually gets some use out of getting +5 hp and +2 to everything else
New duel skills will probably come soon, hopefully it's something like HP+5 and DC/CC to actually make it useful.

Phina. Seriously, the Rapier is already powerful with just the Dual-Eff, but having Vantage in it too is invaluable for someone who's Player Phase will be spent dancing. And she's one of the few dancers who might get a refine since she shares the Rapier with Kid Marth.

I've seen a ton of fully invested FEH pass Chroms pop out in AR, all retrofitted into a janky bonus doubler speedtank like Marth, and he's surprisingly obnoxious to get rid of especially when he's on the fort
I still just mentally write him off as "shit unit since day 0, dies to any book 3 or older mage breathing on him" but the fricker has 60-70 HP and 50 SPD from base stats + resplendent + Falchion refine alone, with his full kit and the Speed DC/Speed DR Wrath the dude probably beats most book 3 and prior mages 1v1 or even 1v2~3 now. Hell, I think he beats Rein if Rein swapped out Lull for a Canto skill

He's has great mixed bulk so switching saves is fine
He should do well for either Save, in fact, Near Save might be better for both that purpose and also the fact that a few of the DR piercing Specials (Deadeye, Lethality, Sublime Heaven) are only on ranged units anyway.
I'm gonna go with Kinshi Hinoka. If you're a physical unit and you're near her you effectively get a +8 Atk/Spd swing with just her weapon alone (+4 Atk/Spd from Hinoka, -4 Atk/Spd/Def on foes within three spaces), and that's before using Rein or Hold skill for more in combat debuffs on nearby foes.
She also gets to take advantage of those very same buffs and foe debuffs, although her combat leaves a bit to be desired, she can at least learn Deadeye and also other helpful support/mobility skills.
Now that you mention it, I'm drawing a blank on how melee units are supposed to pierce DR

Jeralt's good though, he inflicts debuffs for free, gets a follow-up attack for free, and can be rather sturdy

Honestly even prf daggers are garbage 9/10, because lethality is really all daggers have going for them by default. If your prf doesn't happen to enable lethality, it is probably bad.

If if makes you feel any better, due to the way powercreep works in these games you can probably get to the point where you are just as well off as you had been. Just power through the story mode and collect the like 2000 orbs you would get from that and toss it all into the banners that are up and you will probably be good to go.
