>Mr. House - Kevin Spacy

>Cesar - Ralph Fiennes
Mega dimes
This is fake, the AI is pozzed and would never deadname a chud
Holy shit.
>"AI IS GOING TO REPLACE BURGER FLIPPERS!!!!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA NOPE GET FUCKED DESK SITTERS!
>Joshua Graham
>As a black guy
Doesn’t he hate blacks though?
He hates white legs
>arcade
>john boyega
New Vegas is a low quality poopoo shit, even Oblivion was better
Nah it's a great game, people just overestimate how good it is relative to the other games.
I can't believe I didn't buy it when it came out because "It looks too much like Fallout 3. I can't believe it doesn't have a new engine!"
All of those wasted years...
I neglected it for a few years then randomly borrowed a PS3 copy from a friend and got obsessed, feels like an age ago
A justifiable stance to take really. There was nothing implying new vegas would be the gem it is. Just seemed like a weak cash grab bethshita did to pay the light bill while working on rimjob.
The only kind of weird thing I noticed about NV is that the whole bottom 2 rows of squares are devoid of any locations.
There are interesting things to see but nothing to visit, except a radiation suit below the train tracks surrounded by waste. If I was 14 when I found that I would have made something up about it and pretended I was VaatiVidya for Fallout.
Obsidian ran out of time to implement all of the content they wanted to I'm pretty sure, not trying to excuse the lack of polish in the game but in an open world game like that a restricted budget or development cycle can be tough to work with
Oh I'm aware.
I don't even think it had a year.
It's just something interesting I noticed and in fact it makes the game more interesting to me weirdly.
Would be cool to have 2 more boonie towns down there though. More of the outback western stuff before the big city.
I also got filtered by it because of the cowboy theme and young me thought it was too silly.
Nowadays I know it inside and out and I can't touch fallout 3 because it's got quests you can barely influence and a childish setting with cartoony villains.
Even though Fallout 3 is kind of a Bethesda game wearing the skin of Fallout I still enjoy it from time to time, although it isn't as replayable as New Vegas
Underground Hideout is legit the best base / homestead I've ever used in a game.
It is done so fucking well.
use some graphics mods because this is one of the ugliest games ever made
use some custom radio mod, because three songs on repeat can become boring after 100 hours, just remember to only put songs from the 40s and 50s, so it would fit
use mod that lets you run, because wandering slowly can get boring, just don't use this feature when you see an enemy, because that would be cheating
This is the most zoomer gay shit ive seen. Please shut the fuck up.
>nooooo how can you not enjoy listening to johnny guitar for the 500 time while slowly walking around ugly pissfilter rocks
kys boomer
>doubling down on being a gay
Anon you're talking to third-worlders who can't afford a PC able to handle mods with a decent fps, of course they're coping
have a nice day you zoomer fuck
>because that would be cheating
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68179
>use some custom radio mod, because three songs on repeat can become boring after 100 hours, just remember to only put songs from the 40s and 50s, so it would fit
Or you could just switch to the mysterious broadcast
New Vegas bounties and New california are good. That mod that adds in four weapon slots on your body is a must.
>That mod that adds in four weapon slots on your body is a must.
it does whatnow?
Anon I'm looking forward to the upcoming series. I just hope it doesn't take too many liberties.
>House is a woman
>Kimball is black and the good guy
>Caesar is an ugly incel with a small penis
>Courier is trans
>Ulysses is gay for the courier
>Easy Pete is difficult Pete
>Sunny smiles is obese and black
>Benny is all of the above
They wouldn't even have the balls to make the Courier a woman and to sleep with Benny for the chip.
>Bull me bear Courier daddy
Implying Ulysses wasn't already gay for the courier. Guy isn't just obsessed, he's downright fetishistic.
BASTURD
>>Easy Pete is difficult Pete
Fuck if they didn't hire Matthew Perry to be himself I'd burn down California.
OP HERE EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP. THERE IS A FALLOUT TV SHOW COMING UP SO WE CAN ONLY DISCUSS THAT FROM NOW ON.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallout_(upcoming_TV_series)
Just follow an updated modlist
https://vivanewvegas.github.io or the 20 other ones on google. All the most downloaded New Vegas mods on Nexus are most likely obsolete though.
Nv is pure autism for modding. You have to pick between fomm and mo2, the former are highly outdated, while the latter have weird archive invalidation shit.
Vortex works fine what are you on about
patches stop making loading and saving a headache.
quality of life like more quickslots, or quickslots for implant grx, skillbook converter or stat resets
combat mods are pretty good nowadays
for me its literally just the patches, implant grx quickslot and skillbook converter. too lazy to get anything else. still find the game fun for 4th playthrough
>4th playthrough
Try 30+
im confident that i understand the idea behind the game, but also i only recently found out that the great khans had an armory shop
It took me a while to find that too, don't beat yourself up.
I preordered the collector's edition.
Trust me I STILL find shit in vegas. Especially in the DLC where they did a good job packing with loots and hiding them well at the same time. Like I had no clue about the side quest you get from that chick you convince not to kill her mom and she ends up in the shed veronica's terminal is in. Blew me away to stumble on that after all this time.
you found Alice? hope you cherish her in your world too, anon.
1k hours in vanilla over here. Who the fuck is Alice?
Look for her... North Vegas Square... Her signal...
I managed to install 60GB worth of mods and completely lost track of which file belonged where or what mods worked or did what. Like I'd drag a legion corpse and realize there were modelled dick and balls underneath their skirts and I had no idea where they got that. My file folder was a house of cards where I couldn't remove anything for fear of the whole thing coming crashing down. Eventually I just deleted everything and tried getting TTW to work and start over from there, but while I was doing that, I had to move and it took months to get back to setting it up and at that point I'd have to start over and so I haven't touched the game since.
Favorite mod has to be "another kick in the head" though, because it instead of just starting over from last save, you get dumped somewhere without your gear, giving fucking up a sort of permanence.
I have nearly 1k hours in the game and I still haven't bothered finishing it. I just get to the end part where you basically definitively decide which factions to keep around and then start over.
Have you tried using Mod Manager 2? you can uninstall any mod with only a click and it won't break your game.
>Have you tried using Mod Manager 2?
Yes, because there's no TTW install tutorial without it and it was actually part of my problem, since it's so front end oriented that when after I moved and my external drives that the games were on had changed names after the move, MM2 just completely stopped working because it's file directories were locked in and there was no simple way to change them that I could find, so a complete reinstall would be necessary and I didn't feel like spending half to a whole day doing that whole song and dance all over again. I might get back to it when I can find the time and be assed to do it.
The 60GB folder built up over 10ish years, starting way before MMO2's time. I still prefer just manually installing shit. I've grown sort of averse to "it just werks" solutions.
>60GB folder built up over 10ish years
Geez.
>4th
I've played this game too much.
I really like that better collision mesh mod, no more failing to shoot a guy through a railing or window cause the collision box was a solid boc and your left with floating in the air bullet holes.
Otherwise the mods that make the game more stable
The after school special where you turn the goodsprings school house into a cool player house
We don't need 50 threads a day about the worst fallout 3 dlc
follow the viva new vegas list
then install vicious wastes, famine, deus ex weapon spread and b42 mods
I've played this game so much and fucked around with so many mods I've learned that the only ones to get are the bugfixes and quality of life shit that doesn't try to change or add any content. I like the ones that open Freeside and the Strip up into single worldspaces.
what are some good "vanilla plus" mods that expand what is already there?
daily vendor restock
no armor slowdown
Sprint mod
Fallout 4 Survival Damage (NVSE)
Anniversary Anim Pack
Dedicated Weapon Animations (kNVSE) - kNVSE Rifles 0.2.1 update
Weapon Mesh Improvement Mod
Immersive Recoil 2.3.2
JSawyer Ultimate Edition
Collision Meshes FNV
Realistic Launched Explosive Speed
So more or less all these mods help the guns feel nicer to shoot
>Immersive Recoil
use real recoil instead. immersive recoil's recoil is too extreme, makes auto-weapons unusable
Follow this guide as a base: https://vivanewvegas.github.io/intro.html
All of the mods listed are up to date, compatible with eachother and massively improve the game without straying too far from the vanilla game. Follow the instructions and grab them all.
The LOD guide is a bit tucked away in the main guide, the LOD is definitely worth generating: https://vivanewvegas.github.io/lod.html
Now some mods I added on top of the Viva guide that I can recommend:
NPC overhauls: use either NVR2R - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/71556 or NVR3R - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/72951 (I'm personally using NVR3R) for MASSIVELY improved NPC visuals. The vanilla characters are absolutely hideous and Obsidian randomly generated most of the faces for NPCs because they ran out of development time. Also grab the compability patches for Viva New Vegas and NVR2R or NVR3R: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/80231 or NVR3R patches - https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79812
TPP overhaul: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79883 - if you like to play in 3rd person then this mod is a no brainer. Significantly improves the TPP experience my adding shit like swapping shoulders, completely customizable camera position in and out of aiming, fixes the aiming so that your bullets actually go where you crosshair is etc.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/71940 - 360 movement
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/64333 - diagonal movement
Weather stuff: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79652 - improves the rain particles introduced in the desert natural weathers mod (in the viva guide), https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79661 - more rain fixes, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79656 - adds rain sound effects while in interiors, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/79612 - makes clouds move around, https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/76286 - adds in a heat haze effect to the ground
1/2...
misc stuff: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/63867 - a must for me, makes the inventory management much less painful by introducing item categories. Very customizable.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55085 - in-game FOV slider
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/70599 - more weapon animations that the mods in Viva don't cover
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/77787 - makes the pip-boy light more useful
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/78688 - significantly improves power armors, makes them more akin to FO4 (where the only thing they got right were the power armors)
Have fun!
The Frontier is the only mod you ever need
Estradiol and later rope and stool, chud.
>oh cool modding thread, maybe I'll find some new mods
>realize that I already have all of these mods
>realize that I have 200+ mods installed
why is modding so addicting
Since we're talking about Vegas, did I get memed into playing it? It's so shallow and boring 5 hours in. I've just enabled electricity in one of the starter zones, where you had the option of where to reroute the power.
plz name 1-3 games that are less shallow and boring. they must be pretty damn amazing if fnv sucks compared
So far it's severely worse than the original FO games, as well as Arcanum. I feel like I'm missing something because there's no spark at all to be found for me and it's like the game doesn't even try to ignite it. Maybe the game is bugged or something...
>playing fallout 2
>drive to NCR
>hop on a caravan to Redding
>my car is now gone forever
10/10 GOAT incontestable masterpiece
What is the best mod manager new vegas?
Mo2
>78 posts
>ctrl+F Stewie's Tweaks
>no results
yeah i figured none of you play videogames and are retarded gays who install ENBs and project nevada shit
it's included in the vnv guide silly
Yup, it's in Viva which everybody should install as a base at least.
the one that makes it stop fucking crashing when you alt tab
>saved my game in the new vegas medical clinic again
>come to realize this as im staring at the loading screen for 3 minutes straight
what the fuck is it about this building and it's cursed bullshit
>spends 3 hours modding a game
>finally i can enjoy the best possible experience
>plays the game for 20 minutes
>proceeds to spend the next 3 hours installing even more mods
Why is it? i don't even play the game anymore
For me it's
>Spend hours installing mods, fixes and ini tweaks
>Spend a few more hours testing stability
>Everything is working perfectly
>Finished all of that 2 weeks ago and haven't even started my playthrough
Fixing stability is the part i have the most fun with
It's been surprisingly easy this time, didn't have one crash whilst testing
I always get too excited and install too many mods and my toaster can't handle them
what's a fun build for a legion playthrough, I don't like melee
Welcome to the Silver Rush, where only top of the line energy weapons can be found. What can I do for you?
on my first playthrough the SR guards told me not to enter the prohibited area and i did it anyways, they started shooting me and i ran away. i did not had saved before entering the silver rush and my last hard save was 1 hours ago.
>drags everything to the bathroom and steals it all
>walks out
for the 6 millionth time
https://vivanewvegas.github.io/
read moron read
ironic.
I never actually played the DLCs, are they better in an NCR playthrough or a Legion one?
they have nothing to do with main-line factions.
>Honest Hearts
an extension of the main game, my favorite DLC
>Old World Blues
artificial difficulty and LOL SO Randumb waste of time
>Dead Money
take a game that isn't survival horror and make it survival horror. worst DLC I've ever played.
>Lonesome Road
difficult but it gives you some really good weapons and armor, and it makes ED-E the best companion
If you're a female legion supporter, you can tell Ulysses that he has a small dick.
Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road are a little connected to the main story and it's factions.
Dead Money and OWB have minor connections to the Brotherhood of Steel.
Overall it doesn't really matter. Might decide who you nuke at the end of Lonesome Road if you want to RP properly but that's it.
Also Dead Money is really good but more as a standalone experience than as a DLC.
the shoujo mod. you can create e-boi couriers. but it doesn't include meshes for armors, so you equip her with some stripper/nightie armor and she gets massive oppai e-boi tits
i think the best was a combination of it with a "lewd" mod that changed Cass' jacket to just have the jacket part and no undershirt, killing her, and equipping it
>install jip ln
>enable localized helmet dt and dr
Yep. It's gaming time.
anyone here uses vicious wastes? I installed it and played for a few hours but I feel like it makes the game too difficult and makes the stealth/sniper build necessary. Is it only an early game problem?
For me, it's recruit anyone. I see a cute NPC, I recruit her.
