>Both memorable and a great boss fight
Isshin >anticlimax but memorable as a result
Gwyn and allant >Solid but lacking in impact
Cinder >lame
Moon presence, nashandra, elden beast
Like the rest of 3, I really liked it at first but over time the excess of "remember DS1?" kind of diminishes it. Well-designed fight with a lot of cool elements, I just wish it was somewhat more unique.
I wish they didn't force the DS1 references so much so then the Gwyn Theme would've been kino. Sadly by the time I got to Soul of Cinder and the PLIN PLIN PLON dropped, I could only laugh at how cheesy it was.
people hate on moon presence, and yeah its kinda piss easy, but the concept is one of the coolest imo. >do this side quest and final this special moon demon creature as the real final boss
pretty cool idea even if it is as powerful as a training dummy
You just know that if they made Demons' Souls today, Allant would be a 20 foot tall swordsman who jumps around and has a second phase where he starts using spells and aoe attacks.
There's no good fromshitware bosses. All of them just bop it for adult incels who have a lot of free time. But enjoy learning zanzishart's 46 string combo
>western gamers think japanese games are superior because [list a bunch of good games]
Where's the problem
If you don't see problem, you're the problem. >[list a bunch of good games]
Lol. All of them trash
Can't tell if it's intentional or not that the bottom left strawman doesn't apply at all to any of the franchises listed right above it.
Weebs love yakuza, and these game are just cinematic overly-long cutscenes but really fricking bad.
>good
Lmao, they aren't good. They artificially hard to make you feel like pro g*mer. There's no unique
artistic idea behind them it's all just boring white (asian) dudes with swords with utterly hard moveset and le aliens.
>There's no unique artistic idea behind them
In the OP alone we have a deformed blob monster, the shard of darkness made manifest in the form of a medusa with a scythe, a gigantic tentacled beast with its own array of blood magic, and a gigantic star beast that happens to have a sword. Why do people like you just openly and proudly admit your own moronation?
> All of them just bop it for adult incels
You think you sound compelling when you say this, but you're not. Every game is just "bop it". If you want to be a reductionist, every game is just pressing the right buttons at the right time
>Every game is just "bop it"
There's games that can be considered art, but you incels hate it.
There's the last of us (1-2), if you really love interesting grounded stories.
There's new god of war games, if you into good action games which do not consist of bop it and have a good story. Any god of war boss is hundred times better and more interesting than another same
y soulshit >every game is just pressing the right buttons at the right time
No It's every weebshit incel game. Actuall games have a story, message and desire to change the world for the better. Soulshit doesn't have any of this, it's just bop it for adults.
>boring white asian dude with sword >zinaida
anon you wouldn't be a fricking moron now would you
>muh zanzibarida
Don't ever know who it is. Sorry bro, it would be great if these games had actuall story, lmao
>There's no unique artistic idea behind them

Isshin was the only kino one. All the other ones aren't even close to best boss intheir respective games. >King Allant
literally a lore boss meant to portray how far he strayed from humanity >Gwyn
Easiest boss in the game thanks to parry >Nashandra
I don't think anyone has ever died to this boss. Throne watcher and keeper were more challenging >MP
At least a decent fight, but Gherman mogs MP in terms of atmosphere and in how fun he is to fight >Soul of Cinder
REMEMBAH UDDER GAEM??? >Elden Beast
Most disappointing final boss in Miyazaki's repertoire. WHAT WAS HE THINKING?
I like them all, but nashandra is fricking gay, and aldia is also fricking gay. If Fromsoft never develops another jelly monster again, itl be too soon
I don't get your logic OP. Why is Moon presence there but then you have Nashandra instead of Aldia? So why not False King Allant in that case or even Radagon?
Isshin is thematically and emotionally incredible, but he's not even the hardest boss in the game. Might be the hardest required boss.
Elden Beast is atmospheric, but a horrible, painful fight.
I guess it depends on whether or not you think Owl (Father) in Hirata Estate is harder or not.
Also, the Shura Isshin fight is worse IMO, at least for a new game. Not so much in NG+.
Isshin>Allant>Radagon+Elden Beast>Gwyn>Soul of Cinder>Moon Presence> Nashandra
I honestly think part of the problem with the Moon Presence boss is the recycled arena. The least they could've done was keep the red lighting from the cutscene.
>All of them just bop it for adult incels who have a lot of free time. But enjoy learning zanzishart's 46 string combo
Someone unironically typed this and genuinely thought "yeah I'm an intelligent lifeform".
demon baby with the psycho serial killer music > glock > gwyn = soul of cinder > demons souls blob true form > fish > whatever the frick ds2 was trying to do
Isshin is by far the best. >Secretly aids you via Emma from the start >Dislikes Genichiro's kidnapping of Kuro because it is dishonourable >First meets you as Tengu and provides you a skill tree >Meets you officially after Genichiro and you can glean a good bit of lore from him >Only fights you if you go Shura until >Only fights you at the end because he is moved by Genichiro's sacrifice to save Ashina, but still honourably accepts his defeat >It almost feels as if he wants you to beat him, but for the sake of honour, must also give it his all
>best
Isshin, Moon Presence, and Soul of Cinder are all the peak of their games in terms of testing your ability in their games specifics as well as being kino as frick with their meanings. >mid
True Allant, Gwyn, and the Elden Beast are kino in the themes departments but just passable for gameplay. They're not offensive, just not much in their favor. >wtf were you thinking
Nashandra
>DS2 >Have a passable twist final boss that could catch people off guard while rewarding those that actually paid attention to the story >Surprise players by having her jump you immediately after you fight Watcher & Defender without a chance to heal, highlighting her opportunistic nature >Instead decide to have Shanalotte tell you exactly what’s about to happen like a fricking gamefaqs page >Make it the easiest fight in the world and don’t even bother making it a two-phase with Watcher & Defender as phase one >Have the audacity to slap Aldia in there too and give him exactly the same treatment
Isshin > Orphan > Gehrman > Gael > Soul of Dinner > Gwyn > False King > Elden Beats > Moon Presence > Nashandra
admittedly I do not remember much of Nashandra so that may be unfair
Everybody jokes about Isshin using a gun but I love that about him because if you think about it, in the Sekiro verse guns are fricking nothing to high level swordsmen, they deflect bullets no problem, you’ve been doing it since the beginning of the game.
So for the greatest swordsman to ever live to employ a gun in a swordfight is just like using any other tool, same as how he whips out the spear. It’s just another option in his arsenal, nothing more. Which also kind of echoes your own prosthetic tools
Isshin GOAT
Amazing how out of all of those the starving old man is the coolest and most badass
yeah gael is the best one by far
>Both memorable and a great boss fight
Isshin
>anticlimax but memorable as a result
Gwyn and allant
>Solid but lacking in impact
Cinder
>lame
Moon presence, nashandra, elden beast
moon presence isn't the real final boss, it's gehrman and he's the second best one here
I agree with this for the most part but I think highly of cinder
Like the rest of 3, I really liked it at first but over time the excess of "remember DS1?" kind of diminishes it. Well-designed fight with a lot of cool elements, I just wish it was somewhat more unique.

you mean like False King Allant?

Great boss
>two of them
>Holding his gun like that
How does he do it bros?
I guess being a computer has its perks.
fricking based Ravens
>game about japanese swordmanship has a master sword man as final boss
The horror
In order
Isshin
Soul of Cinder
Elden Beast
Moon Presence (Should be Gerhman right?)
Gywn
Nashandra
Allant
Is this a new bot?
I think it's more likely just some bored drunk guy.
Isshin was on another level, the rest were either shite or their direct predecessor was vastly better.
None of the final bosses is the hardest in their respective game, that title always belong to extra, non-compulsory content
I guess it depends on whether or not you think Owl (Father) in Hirata Estate is harder or not.
Also, the Shura Isshin fight is worse IMO, at least for a new game. Not so much in NG+.
Inner father is harder than standard Father and he's a DLC boss, also you only meet him in one ending
Isshin>Allant>Radagon+Elden Beast>Gwyn>Soul of Cinder>Moon Presence> Nashandra
I honestly think part of the problem with the Moon Presence boss is the recycled arena. The least they could've done was keep the red lighting from the cutscene.
Isshin is great
Moon presence was solid
False king was memorable
the rest are kinda shit 2bh
I think we can all agree that Nashandra sucked.
yes and aldia just made it worse
honestly what were they thinking, the 2 guys before nashandra were a better boss fight
Gwyn > Isshin > Moon Presence > Soul of Cinder > Elden Beast > Nashandra
I never played Demon Souls so I have no idea of Allant is cool or not
Wait but Nashandra isn't the final boss anymore, it's Aldia now.
aldia's boss fight gameplay is somehow worse than nashy's.
even WORSE
>All of them just bop it for adult incels who have a lot of free time. But enjoy learning zanzishart's 46 string combo
Someone unironically typed this and genuinely thought "yeah I'm an intelligent lifeform".
You can't refute this.
>kino
Incel buzzword lmao.
Refute what? There's nothing to refute when you're typing drivel.
demon baby with the psycho serial killer music > glock > gwyn = soul of cinder > demons souls blob true form > fish > whatever the frick ds2 was trying to do
Isshin is by far the best.
>Secretly aids you via Emma from the start

>It almost feels as if he wants you to beat him, but for the sake of honour, must also give it his all
It helps that he's a fully realized character that's intrinsically tied to the main cast, to the point he literally named the hero and game's title.
I don't think the guy is above underhanded tactics, he just thinks making his army into a bunch of undead monsters is a terrible idea
for me it's Soul of Cinder

Arms Forts are not bosses
I mean the worst part of this shitposting is somehow implying Bop It isn't complete kino
>DS2
>Have a passable twist final boss that could catch people off guard while rewarding those that actually paid attention to the story
>Surprise players by having her jump you immediately after you fight Watcher & Defender without a chance to heal, highlighting her opportunistic nature

>Have the audacity to slap Aldia in there too and give him exactly the same treatment
>meet the queen
>message in front of her "enemy ahead"
there was never any chance of a twist
Isshin was next level
>mysteriously saps your health
her design is so generic is not even funny
Isshin > Orphan > Gehrman > Gael > Soul of Dinner > Gwyn > False King > Elden Beats > Moon Presence > Nashandra
admittedly I do not remember much of Nashandra so that may be unfair
It isn't REALLY the final boss but it really should be
Isshin > Soul of Cinder > Gehrman > Elden Beast > Gwyn > Moon Presence > False King Allant >>>>>> Nashandra
True King Allant can't be rated the same as the others.
Everybody jokes about Isshin using a gun but I love that about him because if you think about it, in the Sekiro verse guns are fricking nothing to high level swordsmen, they deflect bullets no problem, you’ve been doing it since the beginning of the game.

Shoutout to Nashandra being the least memorable last boss in a souls game. I had completely forgotten about her till I saw the run at AGDQ yesterday.
