Is there a trick to fighting then or something?

strafe left/right when aiming
run when it shoots beams
do the same thing for when its airborne
final phase is easy enough to figure out
or you can cheese every encounter by fusing a spring on a shield, shield surf, then spam arrows until it falls, repeat infinitely until dead
Why are you trying to fight it? Leave it alone dankeschön
I can't run away from my problems forever.
As always, the solution is bomb arrows.
Someone in another thread said lynel bows + keese eyes or abuse the bullet time while using archery in the air. I've just been avoiding them after getting my ass handed to me at both the colosseum and the snowfield near the stable with the gold horse quest.
Gleeok is the “come back later bro” enemy because they all have a ton of health and you won’t be doing shit to them if your world consists of mostly red and blues still.
Finish a temple, get a 3x shot bow (even the weakest lynel one is a godsend), get auto build, use the schema you get from getting that ability, and you can do bullet time from really high up and take out the heads.
I hate that Lynel bows are once against absurdly broken and no other bow comes close. I wish they at least had some really powerful single shot bows. Especially with the fuse mechanic now you can shoot 3-5 of that item. My bow inventory is always all Lynel bows because I like killing a few every blood moon. I get it's supposed to be rewarding but it's not like they're that difficult, only gays who are bad at action games hype them up as some super scary enemy.
Use keese eyes
You are using bombs on every keese swarm, right?
>melt all their faces with bullet time
>smack them up when they drop
>get back when they begin recovering to avoid the wind aoe
>repeat
God fucking dammit
Warp muthafucka you have a minus button for a reason
I love how when they're low on health it lets you do a cool finale and shoot them down way up in the sky and make them die from fall damage by utilizing their super attack.
I fought one near a cliff and I was very amused when I knocked out its heads and it ragdolled down the mountain and took a bunch of damage.
No point in killing them, just ignore them.
>Is there a trick to fighting then or something?
Yeah, actually.
Try using Keese eyeballs and shooting their heads, they break rather fast and you can beat them up and do it again, the only tough part is at the end when they're about to die.
Just build an orbital laser.
?
>detonates bomb beneath shield to lift off
Wait a second..
I don't get why he didn't just jump
Because the basic jump is very low? It needs a high jump to have enough time to dhot the arrows.
Yeah you could already do that in BotW.
I like how it ends just before he crashes right into the tree.
>Using Bomb + Shield to gain instaheight
Jesus, i never thought of it.
>2 hearts
Wat?
You can redistribute heart/stamina vessels at the statue under Lookout Landing, a passage to it will open after you clear the first dungeon.
Constructs are actually kinda risky as the wind AoE will instantly erase them if Gleeok gets it off
tfw lost 48 zonite
I was trying to put a little flamethrower turret during a Lynel fight just to experiment and he kept roaring and making it disappear. Could they do the same to your whole vehicle?
Get a 3xArrowBbow.
Attach something with an AoE spread to the bows. Like bomb flowers or something.
Bait all 3 heads to attack you at the same time.
Aim for the centre head, shoot the 3xArrows which will line up horizontally with the heads. And together with the AoE, you can critical hit all 3 heads at the same time.
Fuck it up when it's knocked out on the ground.
Repeat.
>Is there a trick
Yes, it's called using the tools the game provides:
>deploy springboard / glue a few rockets to your shields
>gain air superiority
>slow motion arrow shots to the eyes
is the fire Gleeok some sort of cutscene or something? How do i get it. I managed to kill the thunder one in the colosseum near the lookout landing.
There's one sitting on the bridge of hylia (the big fucking bridge going across lake hylia)
see
hide behind terrain, it's the only good way to dodge the laser
>being filtered by a video game for preschoolers
I got the camera but Robbie won't go back to the Tech Lab yet. What the fuck did I do wrong here?
take the goddamn picture.
I took it and showed the statue to her but he's still there
A lot of things don't happen until "time passes". Time only passes when you progress in the main quest (beat a dungeon).
You have to do the Josha sidequest with the Yiga clan. After you get the Autobuild and build him a hot air balloon, he will go back to the Hateno lab.
I got that already
welp that's it, I'm avoiding the main quests for a little doing the way more fun side things
Go underground and follow the statues.
I’ve been spoiled as to where the master sword is and am tempted to get it. I’ve completed 1 dungeon and started the hieroglyph quest. Is there an actual questline/initiation for it that I’d be missing out on if I just went and grabbed it?
You're meant to either take cover and peek in and out to shoot their heads, or abuse bullet time and keese eyes. Their projectiles can be dodged with sprinting but it seems impossible to outrun the beams they shoot, unless you have a level 3 speed buff maybe.
You can actually parry all their beams and projectiles if you are skilled enough, the projectile ones can will even be reflected back at them and hurt them and interrupt them.
Keese eyes and some kind of ledge or tool to make you constantly enter bullet time makes them a joke, but I think it's more fun not to abuse that.
Just accept the bone zone.
>you can charge the spear's charge attack 3 times
You have be be baiting or retarded to have trouble fighting these. Shoot them in the eyes. There, you won. Their laser beam has such slow tracking that you can avoiding by just jogging, so you shouldn't be getting hit by that. they only have one other attack which also has shit tracking.
take them out in style like this guy
>flying around the depths with my Uncle Dane™ hoverbike
>run out of juice and land next to a frox, decide to fight it
>he does the suck attack and swallows my bike whole
>frox has read the mouse and the motorcycle
Excellent taste.
