>no it wasn't
Yes It was uncultured dumbfuck >Let's turn kingler into a japanese spider crab since these are very big and gigantamax makes Pokemon very big >Also add a Bubble beard since crabs Have these as well
Your non-argument was a mistake
I get they were kind of going for an Ultraman thing here, but they didn't even do the iconic rise pose even after culling so many Pokemon. Your player character doesn't even do that to throw the ball, you just toss it forward, it's fucking lame.
I miss dynamax. Being able to have dynamic answers for terrain, weather, statuses, and speed gave more team building options. Like yeah, tera lets you tera grass to avoid sleep, but that's pretty much it.
GF always seems to balance a gen's new moves and abilities off of what was prevalent in the previous. Gen 7 got a bunch of anti-priority tech when Gen 6 had a lot of priority and prankster spam. Gen 8 had dynamax setting terrains, as well as more terrain surge users, when the tapus were everywhere in gen 7. Considering how oppressive sleep is right now, to the point that you need 3+ answers for Amoongus on any team, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an easier way to set electric and misty terrain in gen 10. And yes, I know that all the future paradox mons get Electric Terrain, but it's still too costly to use.
It doesn't even have to be damage, just some utility beyond just terrain or weather. Look at Chilly Reception; pivot + weather gives it enough utility that it's worth using. A 40 BP move that deals rock damage and sets a Sandstorm would be worth it. A move that raises your SDEF one stage and sets electric terrain would be worth it. Like, it doesn't take much; the fact the utility is basically there when coupled with Prankster on Tornadus shows that.
i don't care about mechanics but the only explanation for it i can tolerate is that someone snuck their fetish into the game. otherwise it just feels stupid. oh wow, the pokemon got big, i'm soooooooooo impressed.
given a fair chunk of gen 1/2 are already clearly kaiju derived this just makes me less impressed. design new giant monsters? reuse old ones thematically? nah, that sounds like work, lets just scale the rat up to godzilla size and call it a day.
Every Gigantamax form is just "dude, what if this Pokemon's feature was MORE AND BIGGER?" >charizard's wings burn like its tail >butterfree's wings get bigger >pikachu gets fat >meowth becomes longcat >gengar's mouth gets bigger >lapras' shell gets bigger >eevee gets fluffier >garbodor just gets bigger >orbeetle just gets bigger >flapple/appletun are lazy and use the same design where the apple gets bigger >centiskorch gets longer >alcremie gets more cake >copperajah's trunk gets longer >all of the galar starters just get their accessory enlarged
Mothra's wings aren't even close to as oversized as Gmax Butterfree's. >Gengar is obviously based on Amusement Park entrances
Gengar's Gigantamax form is based on the face you make when Game Freak shows off another mediocre game.
I Remember how much i shitted so much on megas for Just slapping more stuffs on the mon while gigantamax actually has design based on big things
>gigantamax actually has design based on big things
no it wasn't
>DUDE LET'S SLAP A BEARD ON KINGLER LMAO!
gigantamax mons were a mistake
>no it wasn't
Yes It was uncultured dumbfuck
>Let's turn kingler into a japanese spider crab since these are very big and gigantamax makes Pokemon very big
>Also add a Bubble beard since crabs Have these as well
Your non-argument was a mistake
kingler looks nothing like the image you posted
also, show me an example of a real crab that has bubbles forming in the shape of a human beard
>kingler looks nothing like the image you posted
>Despite having the same long limbs and anatomy
Blind Person """opinion's""" discarded
>same long limbs
no they aren't
those limbs are still way too short
stop defending 3D era trash
gigantamax mons were a fucking mistake
>Stop making argument that makes sense to counter mine
No
anon g-max kingler's limbs don't look like the ones in the photo you posted earlier. it's a bad representation of a spider crab
>stop defending 3D era trash
3D>>>>>>>>>>2D
>gigantamax mons were a fucking mistake
They're the best feature Pokemon has had, pleb.
it’s still a king crab, it just has spider crab limbs
I hate Dynamax so much, it takes away the individuality of the pokemon by giving them generic Max Moves.
Mega Evolution lets me mega evolve my Pokemon but still have it just how I trained it.
Z-Moves let me give my cute little Glaceon a move as strong as my Arceus.
nobody cares, corpse fucker
God damnit, why did you just call me a corpse fucker just because I said I didn't like Dynamax?!
You clearly said you would fuck May's dead corpse before, retard
You wouldn't?
necrophilia fag what the fuck?
You realize dynamax moves are just 4 Z- moves you can use for 3 turns?
I’m getting nostalgic for this. I wish it was a permanent feature. Tera is cool as well tho.
all generational gimmicks are just press A to win trash
Play the games, they don't actually physically get huge, its an illusion.
I don’t trust random signs in the middle of nowhere
Who puts those signs out there anyways? Some of them are in nearly impossible to reach spots!
>I don’t trust random signs in the middle of nowhere
Famous last words.
Coward.
Ha ha man this is stupid. Almost as stupid as the crystal hats!
Whats so bad about necro?
put your trip back on, marioipod13
Mechanically I found dynamax vastly more enjoyable to z moves
I actually hate the latter
Tera is cool as well
Makes my shiny amargasaurus a titanosaur.
inb4 that would be an understatement
I get they were kind of going for an Ultraman thing here, but they didn't even do the iconic rise pose even after culling so many Pokemon. Your player character doesn't even do that to throw the ball, you just toss it forward, it's fucking lame.
>made smogcucks rage and soil their diapers
It really was the best gimmick we've ever gotten
I miss dynamax. Being able to have dynamic answers for terrain, weather, statuses, and speed gave more team building options. Like yeah, tera lets you tera grass to avoid sleep, but that's pretty much it.
Dynamax was fucking stupid, but I'm surprised there haven't been any offensive moves that can set weather or terrain.
I wouldn't expect any offensive move to set a terrain or weather for the full duration, but even just 3 turns at a time would be really good.
It doesn't even have to be damage, just some utility beyond just terrain or weather. Look at Chilly Reception; pivot + weather gives it enough utility that it's worth using. Dynamax is a reference to Kaiju fiction where giant monsters fight each other.
Don't tell me you're too young and dumb to have known this?
given a fair chunk of gen 1/2 are already clearly kaiju derived this just makes me less impressed. design new giant monsters? reuse old ones thematically? nah, that sounds like work, lets just scale the rat up to godzilla size and call it a day.
My favorite part about kaiju fights is when they just stand there.
>crabs have a full mustache & beard combo
Every Gigantamax form is just "dude, what if this Pokemon's feature was MORE AND BIGGER?"
>charizard's wings burn like its tail
>butterfree's wings get bigger
>pikachu gets fat
>meowth becomes longcat
>gengar's mouth gets bigger
>lapras' shell gets bigger
>eevee gets fluffier
>garbodor just gets bigger
>orbeetle just gets bigger
>flapple/appletun are lazy and use the same design where the apple gets bigger
>centiskorch gets longer
>alcremie gets more cake
>copperajah's trunk gets longer
>all of the galar starters just get their accessory enlarged
Toxtricity's one is cool
you missed Machamp and Snorlax, and also your analyses are dimwitted
Gengar is obviously based on Amusement Park entrances
Butterfree is viewable as a reference to Mothra
use your brain more for these
Mothra's wings aren't even close to as oversized as Gmax Butterfree's.
>Gengar is obviously based on Amusement Park entrances
Gengar's Gigantamax form is based on the face you make when Game Freak shows off another mediocre game.
i honestly enjoyed the Giga mechanic/forms AND the theme song for it.
HAHA HE LORG BIG CHUNGUS XDDDDDDD
