>EA literally has a patent for this and people will still say it's not real
>dynamic difficulty adjustment technology
So you're saying other companies can't use it? It's not real then
>it's not real then
but the people living in your walls are dumbass
I think it's called slightly different for Overwatch but they definitely use similar technology.
>log in one day
>win 5 games in a row, all steamrolls
>log in next day
>lose 5 games in a row, all steamrolls
It's not even "the rank you're supposed to be in" if they're ALL steamrolls and no close games
I'd steamroll Hana tbh
I LOVE PETITE WOMEN
this but specifically her
The problem with losing is that their whole "game pass" system requires you not only to play games for exp, but for chunk gains you're required to do their little "challenges." And wouldn't you know it, almost every challenge requires you to WIN x games either in a specific mode or with a specific character. So every time you play and don't win, you're not only not enjoying the game but you're actively being robbed of progression.
don't forget that challenges like "win X games as every role" don't even show you how many games you've won as each role
Not only this, but the fixed 50% means you really gain no knowledge and experience on how to improve. You play X character and do well, you keep playing that character and that way. The next day you go and do the very same thing and no matter your stats, you lose 4 straight games or whatever. What did you learn? What lessons did you take away? There's no benefit to anyone because your ability to win is artificially removed from how well you perform. You can't carry so all you can do is suffer through and hope you've finally hit the "loss quota" and are allowed to win again next game.
There's been more than a few times in OW2 where I got into a match with teammates who were literally brand new and switching heroes every time they die. There isn't anything wrong with them being new, but they shouldn't be in the same games as people who aren't. Even Paladins understood this.
At least in OW1 with profile levels you could readily see how much someone's played just looking at the scoreboard, now you have to manually go to their profile to see what their profile level was in 1 to see how hard you're gonna get fricked. I don't even get why they removed profile levels since you can very easily go see what someone's level was anyway.
Even Fortnite understands this, it dumps you in a bot lobby until level 11
Do zoomers seriously think being infantalized by devs is a good thing?
Zoomers collectively celebrated when fortnite's main defining mechanic was literally deleted so yeah
zoomers on adderall are the only ones who liked building
based
Love D.Va
Simple as
you have permission to have a nice day
Pumping
P-permission to stroke, anon?
How did Blizzard get away with "asian" characters that don't look asian at all?
because I want to cum inside of her until I can't feel my legs so it's okay
I've never played OW but yeah that doesn't surprise me
anybody defending company's ability to israelite out the most time and money from gamers™ is moronic
It wouldn't be so bad if there was even any fun to be had in a loss. TF2 I'd lose all the time but I never ended up getting mad over it, and the game literally has a crowd booing you any time you lose.
I just don't get how the only thing they got right about the game was most of the women.
I don't understand what the point of this is. Games will send you on long losing streaks and you just feel bad and don't want to play the game anymore even when you start winning.
TF2 was nice because the game fostered a more casual game environment. No wins or losses were ever recorded and most losses could be attributed to the fact that people were goofing around most of the time making it less bitter.
it's usually me goofing around trying to punch people, so I can't even be mad at a loss
Yeah I love it. Sometimes I feel like goofing off and sometimes I feel like playing seriously. Sometimes everyone would be playing seriously, then suddenly a party breaks out. Sometimes only a few people on each team are the ones playing seriously. Anything goes, nobody really cares, and if the people who want 100% super competitive matches, there's servers for that. Matchmaking in general has had a very detrimental effect on the game industry.
Even matchmaking in TF2 that happens sometimes, TF2's the only game where people who don't know each other all just decide to frick around instead of killing each other spontaneously.
It's been literally 6 years and this webm hasn't been topped yet when it comes to Overwatch shit
The Widow/Ball video is pretty good.
Ellowas was too good
I miss Ellowas.
You can get silver teammates in diamond and they play like silvers. MMR is fricked
It's crazy how this was a conspiracy theory in season 1, then in season 2 and everyone got their ranked titles you legit would see teams with 5 diamonds on one side and 5 silver on the other. It's bad enough they usually make the tanks vastly different ranks
a-at least you don't have to use a server browser haha
Dota seemed to be the same way. Just even worse when each game is fricking 45~ minutes minimum if you're not playing turbo.
I organically love D.Va
Just too bad the game is shit and balanced around "competitive"
I think the game would be better if you couldn't switch characters mid match. Obviously patches would have to be made to help some unwinnable matchups
it's funny because in any game with a matchmaking/elo system your winrate will naturally gravitate to 50% as you play with players around your skill
but clearly this isn't enough for whatever reason, they must artificially enforce this 50% through rigged matchmaking
In an ELO system there will be outliers who have less than 50% because they are piloted by actual 3 year olds. There will also be teenagers on Adderall with greater than 50% because no one can actually beat them. To bring both of these players to the coveted 50% win rate Blizzard puts them on the same team. For the average player the matchmaking is fine, for the outliers its fricked.
>t. Recovering Overwatch Grandmaster rank
How else would they keep people playing for hours on end? Having a balanced game? Making it fun and not "reworking" Heroes because shitters won't adapt? Ignoring dumb biased streamers? Please. Only thing that matters is the shop and pleasing investors.
Don't care still playing and getting better every day.
im finally bronze 1 bros
im going to sliver soon bros
Has there ever been a game with worse matchmaking? I don't know how they made it so fricking terrible.
Your team
>Junker Queen who refuses to switch off
>Ashe that can't aim
>Symmetra roleplayer too scared to engage the enemy
>Lucio spending 80% of the match practicing "rollouts" he saw on reddit, the only time he tries to help is when he can right click people off the map
>Moira
Their team
>Orisa doing more DpS than every DpS in the game combined
>Widowmaker one-shotting half your team every time a teamfight starts
>Sojourn
>Mercy stuck up the Sojourn's ass
>Ana that easily defends herself from your tank and DpS
Enjoy the next 20-30 minutes because this is a KotH map
>morons hit the rank they belong in
>this is somehow proof that they're being held down by the man instead of being hardstuck
improve, and you will climb.
Spotted the compslave
>game artificially places you in unwinnable games
>Game constantly puts level 30 players against level 2000 players making it completely unwinnable 90% of the time
When I played dota the way I avoided it was to just play until I lost a game, then stopped for at least a day. It felt like the forced 50% decays to get you to play again, but it is really hard to just stop playing after a loss if you've been winning.
every online dice game ever
Of course it's 50% win rate you fricking morons. You either win or lose, each outcome is equally likely at your appropriate skill bracket (hint: you're in it).
>at your appropriate skill bracket
Lame bait, but the fact is, that the game doesn't even show you your rank.
When the numbers are hidden, there's literally no way to prove the matches are rigged. You can only feel it.
Unless you're an absolute god at the game random matchmaking is gonna average you out at 50/50 eventually anyway. I only played a bit of Overwatch but it felt incredibly obvious which way the wind was blowing when I'd go from stomping a dozen matches in a row to getting my shit kicked in for just as many. It's not fun and it arguably fricks the entire endeavour of playing a game when the outcome feels fixed, whether it's a win or a loss.
>abuse the matchmaking in apex for over a year now
>everyone in the friend group ends up with stats better than professionals despite all of us being +30 y/o dogshit players
There are people out there that refuse to believe these games have systems in place designed to give you a pre-determined amount of wins and losses every session, but it becomes so obvious when you start breaking the games that the curtain gets pulled back.
>play ow2
>lose game
>"gg got matched with hardstuck medal ranks."
>win game
>"gg I hope you enjoy your medal ranks. You will see them for quite some time"
>get friend request after every third or fourth game
>block and report for harrassment
Being a toxic dickhead is more fun than the actual game
Anyone use reports? I've reported ~10 players or so in the past week and gotten 2 confirmations that further action was taken. Usually just when someone flames low-performers (not their fault the matchmaking sucks).
No because I'm not trans.
One day you will grow up and realize trashtalking ransoms online accomplishes nothing besides making you feel worse.
Making trannies like you mad makes me happy tho
You will never be a real woman btw 🙂
>Nerfing Sojourn, and Roadhog.
Now all we need is an Orisa nerf and we set.
>abuse the matchmaking in WT
>Fly a Me262 jet fighter against 4.0 propeller planes
I'm so fast that I can fly directly into an enemy swarm of planes and fly away without a scratch. I'm not even doing much damage but I constantly have 3-5 enemies chasing me who arent doing any damage either.
>captcha 8SSS8
For me it's, in no particular order
>vgerotica
>nagoonimation
>arhoangel

Sucks that this guy stopped doing animations. He was the GOAT.
my second favorite all time OW vid. the first is one I lost. roadhog fricks one of the bawds to death and mercy revives them and then it loops.

Gonna post here for anyone curious
>Essential OW viewing
>Venus - Overwatch wiener Hero 1-3
>DellFreddy - Overwatch wiener Hero: King's Row
>SweetCarolineKisses - Overwatch JOI
Anything else, anons?
Will a game ever surpass the amount / quality ratio of Overwatch porn
If it truly was a zero sum game as you shitters claim, then how do some people like sureflour or calvin get to top rank while you're stuck in bronze? 50-50 is 50-50, right?
>win 28 games, lose maybe a third of that
>go from plat 5 to plat 4
>game starts matching me with the most hopeless tanks and dps over and over to bring the win rate down
they didn't want me to keep playing so i uninstalled
they play in premades to mitigate the game sabotaging them. it's hopeless for solo queue
every jRPG with scripted losses
Cope, you're just floundering in the middle of the bell curve with the rest of the chuds who don't realize team games are meant to be played with a coordinated team. Maybe don't play moronic homosexualry like overwatch
>no fatmercy.png filename
fricking impostor
Overwatch is deliberately created, so that you will lose. Even top 500 dps had games in fricking gold which they lost.
As a support you only have two games (if you play dps support)
>winning easily
>losing hard
The reason is that if you dps, the match maker can't calculate your skill. This means if it tries to rig you so you "barely lose", you will easily win. While on the other hand if the system wants you to lose, it matches in such an unwinnable position, that you can basically go afk until the clock is over.
With Mercy on the other hand the system knows EXACTLY how every fight ends. It will get you around the 50 % point and you will stuck in whatever rank the system wants you to be. If you are a streamer, you get into top 500 with forced top dps team mates against wore dps enemies, to make sure your win, no matter if you heal or not.
If the system wants you in Bronze, you can't climb out with Mercy until the system allows you to climb.
People need wins against real people anon. Let me guess, you'd rather people feel like losers all the time. Toxic scum
