I 100%% it on my first playthrough and said "well i am done with this game, time to move on". Few months later i miss playing it so much it's unreal. Is this the power of Kojima ?
Honestly it felt the same way when I first started but I just turned off the ray tracing+high resolution shit and turned on the performance mode and it was immediately a million times better. Try that and see if it feels better to you
After playing only old games for years I really wanted a new high production game.
First I started RDR2 and dropped it after a few hours.
Then I tried Death Stranding and I'm playing it a lot, on paper I should hate it even more than RDR2 but somehow I love it.
I loved it when I thought I'd hate it as well. It's really fresh in its take on traversal and building systems, and accomplishing certain deliveries can feel very rewarding in how you tackled them. Everything that helps you in the world being made by you or other players is really cool too. Ya either love it or hate it though
Whenever I see that image it looks fake, like it's photoshopped or something, it's hilarious. I've been recently playing the Directors Cut and my god it's fucking terrible. If a delivery route is through BT territory it's just so damn slow, even with grenades etc.
Literally how? I remember pre-ordering the game, but there was a pirate copy the day before, downloaded it, cancelled pre-order and despite actually completing it I hated it. At the time of it's release I think it was more of needing to fill a hole.
sounds weird but League of Legends, this year I try harded to get silver 1 64 lps from bronze, this year I want to get platinum and the next year master, when I end my travel I will probably quit vidya or baka idk, 14 years playing videogames already idk what to play anymore
I started playing this a few weeks and I'm fucking addicted, the combat is shit but everything else is so based. Been a really really long time since I've played an open world game that sucked me in so hard that I'm purposely playing it as slow as possible
My moron. It's an outstanding game even with the odd bit of jank and frame drops. When I played it back in 2019 I did something I had done since I was a teenager I spent 17 hours straight gaming lmao. I've played some great game the last 10 years but KCD may be the best. Can't wait for the sequel
>the combat is shit but everything else is so based
learn master strike, learn how to clinch, and use combo.
There are tutorials on youtube that teach you how to master KCD combat which looks very good once you master it.
Fix the combat and I'm sold. I remember playing maybe 2-5 hours of this and it felt like I got nowhere. I remember fucking some barmaid and then waking up in church to give a sermon, dunno if that was scripted but felt like it.
the whole fragile storyline fell flat for me, was just too stupid for me to buy it kek.
The absolute onslaught of cutscenes at the very end was also just so unnecessary, but that's kojima for you I guess.
I got baited into buying this and the game was so boring. It wasn’t a bad game but it’s certainly not a good game either. Very mediocre and I can see why it caused so much controversy from both pro and anti sides
you gays are getting lazy

And I know for a fact you still remember your delivery routes and the tools you used for improvised shortcuts. This game fucking ruled.
celebrity-worshiping retard alert
I saw it for free on the PlayStation catalog and gave it a try and ended up absolutely loving it.
I've been playing it on gamepass a little every day and I've been enjoying it
Also enjoy it but serious what the fuck is up with the controls? How does it feel so bad to just simply look around or aim?

i would love to play this but my computer is too shit. oh well, maybe in my next life
keep on keeping on
can't wait for 2. I hope the hovercraft serves as a main base and you and fly it wherever you want

I went cold turkey on gayming for 5 years until pic made me addicted again
It kind of made me love life again to be honest, or maybe love it more than I had been.
Nice to have a happy ending in a Kojima game for once, innit?
the nu-hitman trilogy
Jesus Christ be praised
Daniel Vavra too

I'm having a blast being a degenerate thief with bullshit endgame armor when I'm still in the early game kek

the writing in ds was all over the place especially at the end, but it had a lot of kino moments that stuck with me
Agreed. Not everything hit but stuff like the 22 minute conversation with Heartman was outstanding. I definitely will replay one day
