Bullpups are heavy in the rear end, are usually less accommodating for left hand shooters, and generally all have absolutely sub par to god awful triggers due to the fact long linkages are required to transfer the motion of you pulling the trigger way in the front all the way to the action in the rear.
it's both. bf2 is the only game i can think of that has shit hitreg even offline. not to mention you need to be laying down with most guns to hit anything
It's been awhile, but I loved the burst fire M16. It felt like that gun put down enemy infantry way easier than any other gun in that game.
Seriously, the hitreg felt so bad. You could counteract a lot of the bullet spread by crouching and hipfiring, but it wasn't perfect by any means. Still, Battlefield 2 with the AIX mod is something I revisit every couple of years.
I completely forgot about the RPK. That was one buff gun. The AK101 is also insanely good for being a medic class gun, you could revive an entire squad and wipe out an enemy squad pretty nicely if you play your cards right, especially in confined spaces.
The only thing I didn't like about playing MEC is when you play with bots, you gotta dick around a little bit before the USMC begins to take some of your control points, if you just steamroll them they won't have a chance to take even one point.
All of the guns are fine on semi-auto or with short bursts. Full auto fire is supposed to be next to worthless for anything other than extreme CQC and the fact the original BF games always respected that was something I enjoyed about them. It seperated decent the good players from the tards that thought the weapons were too hard to use. When DICE started chasing the CoD crowd in BF3 I always felt it was a step back.
Like I said. The problem isn't really with the guns being accurate or not, because they are if you bothered to learn the game mechanics. It's the shitty hit detection that makes BF2 feel so clunky.
>When DICE started chasing the CoD crowd in BF3 I always felt it was a step back
You say that when they doubled down on suppression and random bullet deviation.
Bad company 2 was God tier bf3 was kioken x 5 God tier, bf4 at release was good tier below bc2 and bf3, but managed to get kioken x 10 surpassing bc2 and bf3 after many months of training aka patches, everything after that went downhill, never played bf1 because of the bald women ok the cover or 5 because of then wierd ww2 timeline with jap females against America soldiers
I'm a huge WW1 buff and was one of those guys ignoring the crazy historical revisionism in it in hopes of the gameplay being good. Boy was I wrong. The gunplay especially in BF1 was so fricking garbage that I uninstalled it after a week. Literally a reskinned Star Wars Battlefront. The only redeeming thing to ever come out of BF1 is the silly fire tornado zeppelin webm.
what the FRICK were the devs thinking with air balance in this game? >tank shells don't one hit kill jets/helicopters >no infantry aa weapons >getting in the SAM turrets gives a lock-on for helicopters >jets can see all vehicles at all times
every time I go back to play I'm reminded on how cancerous any large vehicle map is.
Air gays are always a protected class in any combined arms game, they cry so much to the devs that they drown everyone else out and get to stay OP.
The only BF with balanced air-v-ground is BC2 since there were no jets, and choppers were strong but could be managed with the tracer dart + rocket one-two punch.
you?
>"garbage"
The quickest way to be disregarded.
Why do people hate that bullpup design? I'm not a /k/ minded person and my only experience with them is in VR.
Bullpups tend to be read heavy, also can have less eye relief.

Killzone 3 made me love bullpups

technical and ergonomic issues.
On paper they make perfect sense, in practice they're a bit awkward and don't really offer as much as they require.
BF2 and PR was my main game from 2006-2010 and let me tell you all of the guns feel like bb guns
bought my first discrete GPU to play BF2
why was bf2's accuracy so shit
It's noth the individual weapon accuracy so much as the extremely inconsistent hit detection.
it's both. bf2 is the only game i can think of that has shit hitreg even offline. not to mention you need to be laying down with most guns to hit anything

ak101 and rpk are the best guns in the game. i deliberately switch to the MEC team just to use those weapons

a skilled heli/gunner combo will literally ruin the server if you don't kill them quickly
Is the F2000 shit in literally every video game it's in? It was awful in COD MW2 too.
It's pretty good in BF3, decent in BF4 too.
top tier rifle in STALKER

Come to Battlefield 3 infantry only 48 slots Normal, white man.
>i 'member...

I think everyone knows its a completely dead series now.
