You can get a better view of the enemy and their tells if you play the game in First Person. At every opportunity, go first person.

only play things that have a lot of journalist reviews

Save all your consumables for when you REALLY need it, if you feel like you're gonna die but it's not the absolute last fight of the game, you don't need it. Get a game over and grind for another two hours.

Buy as many loot boxes as possible for the greatest advantage.
So 2017? Okay, then process as many microtransactions as possible so you have the best chance of winning.
So 2019? Okay, spend as much as you can on gacha so you could get that skin or whatever faster.

when playing survival horror games, walk fast and confidently, nevermind the corners, those horrific monsters from the abyss won't be able to scare you if you surprise them first.

Don't hit the weak spot for massive damage. That's really mean to the enemy and doesn't make for a fair fight.

Buy a Nintendo Switch. Nintendo supports their fans, and has the best prices around. With Nintendo, you just know you will never run out of games to play. Their constant stream of games continues even after the generation ends.

Nintendo's fans are respectful, and add so many quality posts to this board.

pre-order, you get to be part of the special early club with the bonuses hehe 🙂
also, buy online-only games, they are harder to pirate so you'll support the poor indie devs and you can play them forever

    Sometimes practice isnt enough
Sometimes limitations are straightforward, like raw reaction time not being enough
But sometimes its just dealing with limitations of what you can actively tell your fingers that your nerves just 100% will not allow

Like not overcorrecting a jump or dash or dodge, knowing full well it doesnt do anything, and that overcorrecting hurts you more than if you commit 100%, but you do it over and over and over anyway.

Sometimes you can work around it by brute force/repetition/luck. But other times you simply cant.
