This is worse far worse than Assassin's Creed.

what fricking garbage are you playing? in ghost of tsushima square is light attack and triangle is heavy attack as it should be.

        You didn't play the game

        >he didn't remap his controls to be just like Elden Ring immediately

there's no hope for some people I suppose

souls trash has the worst fricking control scheme ever created
who the frick uses bumpers and triggers for melee in a 3rd person game? this is the number one reason why I have never played a souls trash game outside of bloodslop which I dropped less than an hour in because of how fricking awful the garbage control scheme was

I remaped it to play it with the footpedals that came with Steel Batallion back in the day. That way I have my hands free to jack off and shitpost

          nixxesgays didn't include controller remapping
but it still plays much better on mouse keyboard since you can dedicate entire keyboard to unique actions

Yeah, they follow the Rockstar design for missions, and it is shit. Sadly the game also blows its load in Act 1 too, with very little in Act 2, and nothing in Act 3 to change up the gameplay or structure. It also too heavily relies on mapping multiple functions to a couple buttons; a problem that could have been fixed by making stance switching automatic based on the current enemy being targeted (though I know people will whine that would make it too casual or easy).

It's a game that completely relies upon vibe. Admittedly, it's a damn good vibe, but it would be nice if the world was more lively, the missions were more varied and interesting, and there were meaningful mechanic changes/progressions throughout the entire game.

The stances are mostly useless, even more so on lethal. I just used wind ever since I unlocked it since the kick is an unique attack rather than different flavor of sword swinging with % modifier to stagger

      >Yeah, they follow the Rockstar design for missions

They don't, most mq and sq are 80% following tracks, if not ALL of them envolve you following tracks and examining them for at least 3 minutes, it's garbage

Love the game but I agree honestly
    >wtf are you doing following the trail Black person you MUST investigate this random sheet
And other this could have been a dialogue instead of a cutscene
Also anyone feels like the cutscene and dialogues pacing is just fricked? I feel it the most when Yuriko died and literally half a second later it shows her already buried

yep. total meme game. 0/10 was not worth avoiding spoilers for 3 years, only to be met with yet another Snoyslop walking sim. a quality reminder of why I sold me Memestation 4 Pro within a month.

It can get repetitive, but it seems like it dials back from a lot of games.
    >You follow footprints and investigate, but there's no red glowy shit telling you exactly where it is like TW3
    >Riding a horse and talking missions are less common and the objective is closer compared to RDR2
    >Cutscenes aren't really that long compared to a lot of games
    >Using standoff is a nice way to thin out enemies, instead of stealthing until you're caught like many other games
    >all the side shit is truly optional, armors are just sidegrades and you can find a lot of the same charms in different places (Though that's repetition itself if you're going for 100%)
It's the least worst action/adventure game I've played in a while.

I agree all the "grind" isn't necesarry at all. It's fun to be a samurai for a while and the game does a good job to give you that feel

I definitely haven't felt this way since Way of the Samurai 1 but to be fair, I haven't tried that many either.

Way of the samura is so fun. I wish they would make another one. Might have to replay 2. Which one is your favorite?

I've only played 1. I should probably try the others. They're actually the opposite of Ghost of Tsushima when thinking about game length and content. Like between start and credits, it's impossible to have more than 5 hours of game time in Way of the Samurai, but Ghost of Tsushima is potentially 150 hours. But the replayability is still unmatched. I say that as I haven't played it in 20 years. Maybe it's time. Any "choices matter" games are a fricking joke compared to Way of the Samurai. Not even an old CRPG comes close.

I still wonder what the frick you homosexuals expect games to be like. We still don't have brain chips that allow you to go inside the game and speak with your vocal chords, have AI respond, then investigate dynamically with your own hands. Yes it has to happen through button inputs. Yes the game needs to highlight the objects you investigate because otherwise how the frick are you supposed to know they are interactive. No we can't just make all of the millions of objects in the game interactive. I know everything in your bing bing wahoo is interactive but that game only has like 5 objects in the world at any time. Any other objection, chud?
