Fortnite's version doesn't look good(at least based on the images in this thread, but this is Ganker so it could be cherrypicked) but I'd expect them to get "BTFO" by the developers of actual Dragon Ball games. Obviously a skin in a non-Dragon Ball game won't look as good as a game that's entirely Dragon Ball and had years of development as a Dragon Ball game.

Fortnite skins have become like POP Funkos. have to be twisted to fit their design to have weird proportions and be warped to accommodate the base movement animations (Because frick making them custom to look more integrated) and the kids lap it up for dopamine, but to the rest of the users it looks stupid and ugly.
Game dev here. They fit the model to a base skeleton because it's easier to do that, and the base skeleton doesn't have super wide shoulders, and so they had to shrink down Goku's shoulder width.

While DB is a very family friendly romp, Z definitely had a big tonal shift towards the more serious, particularly in the first two overall sagas (Frieza and Cell) and only got silly again in the last third with Majin Buu, the problem with Super has nothing to do with tone tough, it is just directionless, shit happens for no reason and with no logical progression to it, up until the defeat of Cell everything in the story built up one of two major plotlines that had been there from the start (Goku's origin/Saiyans and the Red Ribbon Army), the Majin Buu arc was the first to flirt with the idea of just making up random shit to keep pumping out material, but at least they tied it into the kamis, meanwhile Super (Outside of Broly) just makes up random stuff like gods and angels and multiverses and space cops, and solves everything with asspulled power-ups instead of crafting a legitimate plot.

Both Pokemon and Dragon Ball can be easily divorced from their current state, even back when Z and GT happened there were people who adamantly refused to accept them as part of the canon, Super is no different; Pokemon is even easier to compartmentalize by generation, the vast majority of people in this world are stuck in gen 1 and don't give a rat's ass about the rest, gen 4 was another big cutoff but essentially every gen is someone's last generation.

I've played a ton of games with various battle pass systems, and Fortnites is by far the most generous.
I swear, the majority of people that shit on fortnite played it during it's pre-season when it first launched in it's alpha state, and then act like the game hasn't changed at all in the last 6 years its been out.
Fornite is built exactly like a phone game, it's an unpaid job that uses several psychological tricks to get to force yourself to play it with temporarily available skins, events and daily missions.
All for a bunch of skins.
The gameplay isn't the focus, which is why the gameplay of phone games is atrocious and barebones.

I've played this season incredibly casually (like I said, 1-2 hours a day 2-3 days a week) and I've finished the main battle pass with 6 or so weeks left. Never really went out of my way to grind out any of the quests either.
It's not 2018 anymore where you need to grind 500+ hours to finish a 100 level battle pass. It takes like 40-50 hours in game, if that.

Why does fortnite make asses unrealistically flat now? Like pancake flat. Despite what the shadows around them portray the actual asses themselves aren't round or protruding at all. This is a very serious concern. Older skins aren't as bad in this regard.
The cel shading gets a bit weird looking when you look at it further away. that screenshot is the furthest away you can position the camera when viewing skins in the shops or your locker.

While DB is a very family friendly romp, Z definitely had a big tonal shift towards the more serious, particularly in the first two overall sagas (Frieza and Cell) and only got silly again in the last third with Majin Buu, the problem with Super has nothing to do with tone tough, it is just directionless, shit happens for no reason and with no logical progression to it, up until the defeat of Cell everything in the story built up one of two major plotlines that had been there from the start (Goku's origin/Saiyans and the Red Ribbon Army), the Majin Buu arc was the first to flirt with the idea of just making up random shit to keep pumping out material, but at least they tied it into the kamis, meanwhile Super (Outside of Broly) just makes up random stuff like gods and angels and multiverses and space cops, and solves everything with asspulled power-ups instead of crafting a legitimate plot.

I've played a ton of games with various battle pass systems, and Fortnites is by far the most generous.
I swear, the majority of people that shit on fortnite played it during it's pre-season when it first launched in it's alpha state, and then act like the game hasn't changed at all in the last 6 years its been out.
Fornite is built exactly like a phone game, it's an unpaid job that uses several psychological tricks to get to force yourself to play it with temporarily available skins, events and daily missions.
All for a bunch of skins.
The gameplay isn't the focus, which is why the gameplay of phone games is atrocious and barebones.

I've played this season incredibly casually (like I said, 1-2 hours a day 2-3 days a week) and I've finished the main battle pass with 6 or so weeks left. Never really went out of my way to grind out any of the quests either.
It's not 2018 anymore where you need to grind 500+ hours to finish a 100 level battle pass. It takes like 40-50 hours in game, if that.

Buy them outright. Some cost vbucks, some cost real $$.
Occasionally there's free skins that you can get by doing a bunch of random in game quests and events, but the vast majority are buy to use.
No gacha or randomization or anything. The only thing is the store is constantly refreshing and skins are always moving in and out with some skins disappearing for years at a time, so if you want a skin you should buy it the first time it comes out.

I'd put money on Gohan (Ultra -> SS -> Beast + saiyman alt) and Piccolo (base -> gold -> orange) being part of next pack, as well as Videl (probably with a Saiyman alternate) and one random other character like Whis probably.
