So download one and wait a couple days. What's the problem?

I don't want to wait a couple of days to find out a game is shit.

It's either that or never play any new video games ever again. It's not like you'd be missing out on much if you did nothing but play tetris for the rest of your life.

    New games suck ass
    >battle pass
    >season pass
    >live service
    >tacked on progression system

I miss the days of booting up something like left 4 dead and getting the full experience right away as opposed to Darktide where I have to grind out character levels and unlock/craft the weapons. It's so tiresome

im not against progression systems, but its absolutely tacked on to games now to hide the fact that 99.999% of the budget went to graphics.

i would have to coordinate and wait to let it download overnight, and even than my brother would frick things up and either make me wait till super late to start downloading or he would block the console of from the network.

These days programming is primarily taught in a way that makes programmers as easily replaceable as possible. Efficiency is seen as completely irrelevant.

Games aren't that much more complicated than 10 years ago, but computers are exponentially better, so everyone decided that optimization was a waste of man-hours.

Do there exist American states where they don't israelite you with a limited internet plan? We even have it here in my slavic shithole, so it just seems barbaric to me, but surely all that israeliteslave shit about internet plans I hear must be in some godforgotten backwater like California.
I'm thinking if immigrating into a different countries so I'm gathering information on suitable candidates.

No, you basically just have 1gb yearly limit in every state in America. They can barely use the internet. If you use more than 1gb you get arrested and executed usually. Sad state of affairs.

I get what you're saying, but what you're full of is welfare siphoning Black folk, israelites, and trannies. I'm white, capable of manual labor, and have a strong appreciation for personal liberties. Don't answer if you don't want to, that's your choise of course, but it is not me who should want to be in your country, it's your country that needs people like me.

It used to be the norm, but companies realized they can make a lot of money off this by making people worried about their caps and upselling them to more expensive plans than they need/paying exhorbitant fee for unlimited data alone. It's no coincidence that that companies with the most draconic and israeli data practices have the best stock growth.
Fiber's starting to roll into even rural areas now, but the companies love wanking off shareholders too much to stop israeliteing.

So this is like a country-wide thing, no way to escape it if I were to start living in the US?

          Anonymous

It's not 100% everywhere, but yeah, most of the big players are all in on this together.
You'd really have to look around at regional ISPs carefully and find a place that A) is good and B) is also a good place to live for all the other reasons you need. That's a pretty tall ask that none of us can answer for you easily.

I would have asked if you can ask it dificult...ly, but I haven't actually prepared all the questions I'd need to ask about living in Amoorica, so that'll have to come at a later date. I appreciate what you have already told me, however.

here data caps never really existed, and all providers are forced to lend their infrastructure to other providers at a regulated price so that no one can have the monopoly over a certain area and to avoid tearing up the roads everytime someone wants to move in
prices have been steadily decreasing in time, 1000gb fiber goes for 30€/m, the major players also sell packages that include mobile and streaming services

Meanwhile here, cable companies are dropping cable proper and moving their tv services to IPTV streaming. And have the fricking nerve to keep jacking the rates on top of it.
I like my country, but I can't even pretend we aren't all riding with one fat uncut dick up our asses when it comes to anything even vaguely related to telecom.

what's funny is that the provider doesn't even have a cost increase if you download 1gb or 6 gorillionbytes, they pay for bandwidth

Australia sure is suffering if you're not willing to take a chance on lesser known providers but even then they're often just giving you main company access anyway. Should probably just get my own 5g box and be done with it.
