This is the biggest thing killing me on Starfield, I hate how trash the ESGpunk aesthetic it's so fucking lame...really wish Destiny wasn't the shit show it ended up being
>This is the biggest thing killing me on Starfield, I hate how trash the ESGpunk aesthetic it's so fucking lame...
Try saying that aloud in real life to someone. Record yourself saying that and play it back.
God it's so fucking ugly, and this is the best space suit I was able to find, and it's so fucking bland...just fuck off forever bethesda, ignored all products on steam, never again.
Do spacers even react to you donning the suit? I just went with a bounty hunter spacesuit I found in the base because it had better stats and fit my cowboy character better.
I didn't care for the Mantis shit. I dont even know the real backstory here with him.
the pants shouldn't be that baggy
anything i think its just a boba fett inspired but again, can't make any cool vehicles like slave 1 or asymmetrical shit like outrunner
fuckin shipbuilding a bummer
>IM HAN SOLO
the game really expects you to be stuck with the shitty Frontier one for ages unless you really rush through the story, which apparently is le bad and im havin heckin fun with all these other quests they pelt at you and of course my epic outpost xD
KEK
Well, it annoys me that the ship upgrade skill is locked behind a bunch of skill points
But you can get a sweet ship for doing the ranger quest line
A free one for the Mantis quest line
And you can hijack ships after putting one point into locking on. Probably the easiest way to get ships that you can fuck around with in ship builder
ive had opportunities with a couple quests but the game simply doesn't fuckin let you.
again have to rush though this story so i can go back to robo bro because this sarah bitch doesn't like me killin a random UC person that landed in front of me and i was able to go in her ship and do that because i wanted to take it.
turns out i couldn't for some reason. skill needed for that too?

I think there is a skill point needed to hijack some ships that land. Not 100% sure
But if you wanna grab ships, 1 point into target locking, shoot at engines, dock then kill captain

pretty rare i run into many ships
i dont want a whole splatoon and sometimes i never see the fleetmasters or whatever the fuck they are called almost never because i fast travel everywhere and they get scared of the Mantis ship

i picked adoring fan, extroverted which has rarely paid off and then uh, probably something negligible.
wish i picked wanted just for more chance to shoot shit
Oh shit I had no idea that was an option that's sick. I can't even find any +persuasion clothes that look good, except maybe the grey corpo suit. I'm a real sucker for the uhh. The blue utility suits that kinda look like British cop outfits? Those are cool.
Anyone know how to unlock weapon skins? I only have the one for the cutter and I have no idea how to get the other ones
Casual wear also comes occasionally with decent resistances, hazmat suit has like all 10 and some in 15's, good addition if you go for hazardous atmosphere planets.
It's made me appreciate Fallout and Elder Scrolls significantly more because holy fuck does Starfield have absolutely nothing going for it as a setting >The overall aesthetic is the most sanitized, generic, bland, safe for all ages corporate approved slop >The World building is absolute trash >The factions are all boring bog standard card board cutouts >The Characters are all completely forgettable barring the Adoring Fan that's literally just a carry over from a different game >The weapons and armor are the most basic bitch sci fi shit imaginable >The Space travel is non-existent >The setting is simultaneously too hard Sci Fi to appeal to normal fags but nowhere near hard enough to appeal to fan of grounded sci Fi
I feel like a game made for no one to the point that I refuse to believe this is Todd's "Dream game"
did it early too because i got the code and then i learned it was worth doing earliest as possible, saw the level, and just said fuck it and did it at level 10
i dont even fuckin know how they are doing this recommended level shit because it was still doable on normal. hardest part was the robots at the end
Hey weird question. Did you guys do that gang quest on neon? I have a question about the ending so real spoilers: can you kill the security chief instead of letting the gangsters join? I only thought to test that like way later. Seemed like more of a fitting end to me idk. I wonder if I can still kill him
Fucking lame. Is the guy that runs neon flagged too? I kinda just want to assassinate him to see if I can. I'm not at home so I can't just test it so I have to ask dumb questions on an Indonesian basket weaving forum
the game has no options like that for really any quest. I just did a quest where I had to either side with an advanced AI or reprogram it for ryoujin. no option to disable the ai completely and when I reprogramed it and let it ended up just killing some ryoujin people anyway
I'm on those quests right now so I think soon I'll get to that one. Conceptually it's really cool to do corporate espionage but there just isn't a lot of substance to them. I did appreciate that mars mission where you have to get the lady's gun. she let me onto the ship and "tricked me" so I got a new free ship out of it
>suit looks like shit >ship is worse than the one you get from your Dad
What did they mean by this? I have no idea why this quest is in a level 30 system.
Does that armor even have any relevance to anything? Is it a cultural style or belong to something? Why does it seem like this game is completely soulless with incoherent designs?
I feel like I'm the only person on this board who just doesn't like Fallout. I find the setting to be extremely boring and would take Elder Scrolls over it any day of the week. At least Starfield has some dynamic environments instead of me wandering through yet another apocalyptic desert.
I'm pretty interested in what they're going to do for DLC. Theres so much that seems missing from this game that the DLC could pretty much make or break the entire package. They'll probably make a outpost DLC, a ship building DLC, and then what?
>take up the mantle of the Mantis >basically Space Batman who is feared by pirates across known space >go on undercover mission with the Crimson Fleet pretending to be a recruit >wear the mantis suit the entire time
>enter the key in full mantis suit >some random pirate npc comments he heard the mantis is back and would kill it if he ever saw him
they seriously can't do anything right
games not so bad if you treat a lot of the planets as little settlements themselves until you get sick of fuckin runnin everywhere.
and some of the planets are straight up empty for outpost bullshit
I cant wait to explore all these foreign planets, no human ever set a foot on! >every single planet has some kind of human build facility >some seem more crowded then earth
This is the biggest thing killing me on Starfield, I hate how trash the ESGpunk aesthetic it's so fucking lame...really wish Destiny wasn't the shit show it ended up being

Calm down young buck.
Why? You fucking sperg
man I'd kill for a good game with destiny's mechanical aesthetics
It's so upsetting how this shit wasted on a game like Destiny
>Destiny 1
>man that would be cool if we could ally with the cabal
>destiny 2
>this is fucking dog shit.
SHAME.
I swear Destiny 2's entire existence is just one giant monkey paw.
Why are the stats shitter than rando vendor common gear
Its because unique gear doesn't roll unique perks. If you save before receiving unique loot, you can reload to re-roll the perks.
God it's so fucking ugly, and this is the best space suit I was able to find, and it's so fucking bland...just fuck off forever bethesda, ignored all products on steam, never again.
retard
retard
The suit you get for completing the ranger questline is what I ended up swapping it for
>he didn't find the bounty hunter suit while doing the Mantis quest.
lmao
Not joking, not obsessed, not deranged, but your character looks like a FTM chud
not mine just the first thing I could find googling.
lel I was thinking the exact same thing and I am also not joking, obsessed nor deranged.
Looks like a shitty doomguy knockoff
Do spacers even react to you donning the suit? I just went with a bounty hunter spacesuit I found in the base because it had better stats and fit my cowboy character better.
they do with the ship. Sometimes they'll say "Oh no its the Mantis. I'm sorry!" and try to run away. Never seen it with the suit.
Thank you. What if you change the ship? I want to add more cargo and crew slots.
as long as its still the same Razorleaf ship you can change it however.
Would look fine if the helmet was white, but I guess they knew it would look like a stormtrooper helmet then
I didn't care for the Mantis shit. I dont even know the real backstory here with him.
the pants shouldn't be that baggy

You can steal a ghost in the first spaceship fight, though the game doesnt acknowledge it at all and treats it like you are in the frontier
is there any point of casual wear? you seem to wear a suit everywhere even in places you don't need it and its looks awkward af
press t in inventory to toggle casual wear inside. Casual wear also has bonuses like 10% speech or +5% critical hit rate.
Oh shit I had no idea that was an option that's sick. I can't even find any +persuasion clothes that look good, except maybe the grey corpo suit. I'm a real sucker for the uhh. The blue utility suits that kinda look like British cop outfits? Those are cool.

Oh I'm sorry I thought you meant there's an option to auto-equip a certain casualware inside. I knew about hiding the space suit already im retarded.
I liked the black executive corpo suit.
Weapon skins are from the premium edition. Haven't been any more I don't think
>Weapon skins are from the premium edition. Haven't been any more I don't think
Aw man
You aren't missing out on anything. Think there's 2 skins, one for a pistol, one for the cutter
Then a skin for the constellation suit
Casual wear also comes occasionally with decent resistances, hazmat suit has like all 10 and some in 15's, good addition if you go for hazardous atmosphere planets.
You can select to not show the suit/helmets in settlements
Some Poojeet probably worked really hard at it, kek.
>it was a white person
Cope.
>ALL THE OUTFITS ARE SO TRASH!
>THE QUESTS SUCK!!
>ZERO MEMORABLE CHARACTERS!!!
im 60 hrs in bros when does it get better???

Bethesda's Fallout vision will never be canon. They didn't even create it.
>safe for all ages
True, reflects the gameplay as well, reduced violence and gore, very safe and kid friendly environments
now that you mention it, not a single cigarette, cigar, hooka, or any tobacco
There's a hooka on the Key
probably for some herbal onions tea thing for all we know
The seedy city of Neon doesn't even have proper strippers or boobs anywhere
the fuck? there's packs of smokes everywhere.
Fucking discount Destiny armor, wtf bethesda.
>do mantis quest early on
>haven't found better spacesuit or helmet in 30 hours
fuck you Todd
Just wear what you like the look off
did it early too because i got the code and then i learned it was worth doing earliest as possible, saw the level, and just said fuck it and did it at level 10
i dont even fuckin know how they are doing this recommended level shit because it was still doable on normal. hardest part was the robots at the end

can you kill the security chief instead of letting the gangsters join? I only thought to test that like way later. Seemed like more of a fitting end to me idk. I wonder if I can still kill him
He's in invincible, so no, flagged as an important npc, fucking hate how bad it is in this game.
Fucking lame. Is the guy that runs neon flagged too? I kinda just want to assassinate him to see if I can. I'm not at home so I can't just test it so I have to ask dumb questions on an Indonesian basket weaving forum

If you had been a Ryujin Op, you could've let the robot go AND the Ryujin dudes would've lived
well I wanted to destroy the AI completely
Outposts seem to require so much investment to get shit going I really cannot be bothered.
I hate the fucking helmet. The whole getup is shit, but I have particular distaste for that butt-ugly helmet
It even looks like shit from the back.
>suit looks like shit
>ship is worse than the one you get from your Dad
What did they mean by this? I have no idea why this quest is in a level 30 system.
Does that armor even have any relevance to anything? Is it a cultural style or belong to something? Why does it seem like this game is completely soulless with incoherent designs?
That spacesuit is supposed to have been used by the setting's equivalent of Batman in order to scare pirates.
I feel like I'm the only person on this board who just doesn't like Fallout. I find the setting to be extremely boring and would take Elder Scrolls over it any day of the week. At least Starfield has some dynamic environments instead of me wandering through yet another apocalyptic desert.
reminds me of these pinheads
I think the helmet looks cool but the armor is dumb as hell. I can't believe that's the look they went with for space batman
Is that a paper bag over their head?
Just reborn bro
Does this shit ever get replaced? I got this at like level 14 and I'm level 40 right now STILL using mantis
I'm pretty interested in what they're going to do for DLC. Theres so much that seems missing from this game that the DLC could pretty much make or break the entire package. They'll probably make a outpost DLC, a ship building DLC, and then what?
nice dress, gay
>you vill live in ze space Black city
>you vill not fly your ship
>and you vill vear ze dress
Kept rerolling till I got chameleon and headhunter plus some carry weight perks on it so I'm stuck with it for the foreseeable future.
>take up the mantle of the Mantis
>basically Space Batman who is feared by pirates across known space
>go on undercover mission with the Crimson Fleet pretending to be a recruit

they seriously can't do anything right
am i just really supposed to bum rush through a bit of the story? got the first artifact and things were level 6 and im level 12
why did they decide to make only a single fun side quest in the game?
Mods will save it.
i'm disappointed there's no suit mommy in this game but that was more of a obsidian thing anyway.
In classic bethesda fashion.
games not so bad if you treat a lot of the planets as little settlements themselves until you get sick of fuckin runnin everywhere.

I cant wait to explore all these foreign planets, no human ever set a foot on!

I like my sci-fi with sexy aliens. If your game doesn't have fuckable alien pussy, I don't want to play it, simple as that.
I finally got better armor after 50 fucking hours, the extra carrying capacity was just too good and decent legendary suits rarely show up.
>incendiary superior bolstering
Enchanted armour is the worst thing they brought to fallout/starfield, completely destroys any immersion
Fucking Netflix adaptation Mando lookin ass shit.
Fucking ugly no matter what it was meant to look like. Like, comically ugly.
The Mandalorian actually looks cool
Is there an old school Nasa Space suit you can wear?
