And finally Hufflepuffs are the nice guy beta house, but their traits are actually decent, it's just that rowling is a dumb woman who was unable to show them properly through the books. They have loyalty, fairplay, patience and justice.
I definitely feel like Hufflepuff was an afterthought. All of Rowling's lore about Hufflepuff came after the books were finished; they got zero screen time in the novels. Admittedly the post-novel pictures of their commonroom look comfy as frick.

Now granted, Harry shows fairplay as well, but Cedric was also in the bath for hours to find the egg's secret, which shows patience, a Hufflepuff trait. Harry would never have stayed that long.

Professor Ronen the Charms guy is kind of the Slughorn of the game. He's very outgoing and friendly but he likes to get out of the classroom and teach through experiences. And it's implied he does that because he wants to show off a bit too.

Yeah he's a fun character to watch and he's passionate about magic. He definitely embodies the better side of Slytherin. I like when he just hangs out in the courtyard charming and flying around paper birds.

Hogwarts was the political center of England's wizarding issues and pretty much always had been. Everything starts and ends at Hogwarts.
I haven't got that far into the story yet but he does seem to have some friction with the ministry. I guess it makes sense though when the UK wizarding community is supposed to be pretty small. The government would be breathing down your neck when they have literally one school to oversee. It'd make Black's job more political when he really should just be dealing with headmaster business.
And they seem to put more emphasis on the magical community being small in this game. The student count feels more realistic. There are never more than like a dozen students per class. I like that since the movies went overboard and made it seem like there were thousands of Hogwarts students and wizards.
Because of the structure of the Wizarding World, the Hogwarts Head is basically considered to be the best wizard of their age in the UK. But Black rejects the idea and just wants to focus on students actually learning as they're supposed to.
Relative to its size the UK has a large amount of Wizards, its one of the larger wizarding communities overall and the reason that the UK has such a long-reaching grip on the wizarding world.

Pettigrew does display some Gryffindor traits of loyalty and courage in the books, they're just misplaced. He at least worked up the courage to try and persuade Voldemort from harming Harry, and did fulfill his Marauder's purpose of protecting Harry at the cost of his life like the others.

They are ambitious with their shop project, making money from hosting gambles while they are at school, always break the rules, they show ressourcefulness by sneaking around the castle constantly etc (They didn't always have the map, and even then they had to be pretty cunning to get it)
Dumbledore also constantly shows Slytherin traits, especially in his youth.
This is actually a good summary of each house, though if I had to break it down into various MMO or basic multiplayer classes
Gryffindors: warriors, tanks, stronger focus on offense with some experience in heavier-hitting melee weapons. Probably the closest thing you can get to a fighter class in a game like this.
Ravenclaw: hardcore DPS "mage" (most "mage" of the houses,) probably large focus on AOE and CC attacks. almost entirely specialized in ranged combat via crazy spells.
Slytherins: Rogues, thieves, sneaky classes that focus on devious curses or dark magic - probably a mix of long-ranged spells and short-ranged melee,
>Hufflepuff: Support classes, this can probably split between healing and buffs through a preference in potions & herbology, or offensive support through their closeness with magical beasts and animals (so sort of like hunter or pet-tamer class as well.)
Rather than Rogues for Slytherin I'd go with something more akin to bards.
Their greatest strength is that they can do a little of everything but use clever words more often than not avoid trouble.
Their most dominant descriptor is cunning, they can still do sneak stuff but they're at their best when they're talking.
