It's difficult to secede from a centuries old country without letting go of certain things it seems. Catalan food is good, but it's too similar to the rest of Spain's (since it's been the same fricking country for so long). So they need to pillage some staples you see.

Bocadillos were invented 40 years after the Sub, the Sub is an American invention. Also, just because something is from another country doesn't stop that thing from being the same thing. Gazpacho is still a soup, and a bocadillo is still a sub sandwich. Get over it.

Bocadillo LITERALLY means "snack". What kind of moronic post is this?
      >burgers don't know "snacks"
And you're laughing at THEM? You must be from some backwards place where they talk like gays and shits all moronic.

Reminds me of that coastal country in south america where if you ask for a quesadilla (cheese taco, basically) they ask you if you want cheese on it, because for them it just means chicken taco or something for some moronic reason despite the name and dish involving cheese. This is like that, in your backwards hole they call sandwiches snacks and you thought that's what they were officially fricking called for some reason. What do you call snacks then, botanas? You do don't you you fricking cuck.
