Nah, Armored Core 6 is a waste of time! >Character creator makes you select between body type A and body type B >You play as a virgin >Elden Ring's lock in system >The voice acting is impecable, you can notice most of them are black >All mini bosses have the same awful red paint job that makes them stick out and break the aesthetic of the game >Everytime they kill you they say "such inferior machinery, stick to gaming" >Half of the major boses are female, you would avoid dozens of tiny enemies and then a stronger female boss will appear >The final boss is a re-skin of Radahn but voiced by a woman who reveals that he/she is true hero of the story and it's trying to protect the world from the real villain who is the comedic relief character and one of the characters that is voice by a white man >There's a reference to Ukraine War (it's very subtle) >One NPC references to Sphere Hunter >you achieve completion in less than 10 hours >NG+ barely changes the difficulty >NG++ locked behind a paywall >When you get the option to customize your mech an NPC will say "I'm glad you are proud of who you really are" after selecting a "colorful" paint job >There's a paint job for every LGBTQ+ flag and they are all free and ate already unlocked. >Amongst the rubble of the world a wall is still standing, this is a black lives matter mural. >Nearby there's an upgrades cache that will give you a skill that allows you to try and solve conflicts peacefully. >The merchants will often mention of how there's always "evil beings" stealing the lighting of more deserving people (probably a reference to how black people believe that Edison stole a black man's invention when he made the lightbulb despite this not being true) >There's a Chadwick Bozeman reference, in an old database that tells the story of an engineer that was "as fierce as a panther"
There's lots of other shit Fronsoft crammed in there just to tell that they hate their audience
I have actually made pastas for a lot of games, Elden ring was just the first one.
I have made for every major release since February 2022, here's a list of that >Elden Ring >Starfield (Right from the announcement trailer) >Nintendo direct April 2022 >Multiversus >Minecraft (it's a whole 9/11 joke) >Omori/Limbo/Undertale (any earthbound inspired indie game) >God of War Ragnarok >Forespoken: Based edition >Xenoblade 3 >Scorn >Pentiment >Dead space remake >HiFi Rush >Hogwarts Legacy >Nintendo direct early 2023 >Pizza tower >Metroid prime >Atomic Heart >RE4 Remake (REm4ke) >BotW/TotK >Rework of Starfield pasta >AC6 >Baldur's Gate 3
I guess I'll have to do one for Lies of P since it's a souls-like game.
>>The voice acting is impecable, you can notice most of them are black
I read that pasta and thought Handler Walter is black, because of his 'black sounding voice' but the dude is white.
The Huxley + Needle gun is good enough for em, if not, I just assault boost and use the left hand weapons.
I got many other builds to swap between if that doesn't work
Who could it be? Are endings 1 and 2 just simulations running in ALLMIND's processor, and that's why she alerts PCA at BAWS arsenal so you end up wiping the floor with em earlier than usual? Doesnt explain 621's NG+ gear in NG++ if it's just a simulation however
Are *You* retarded?
How do you explain the 621 having NG+ weapons from mission 1? How do you explain ALLMIND possessing knowledge of previous NG
How do you explain ALLMIND speeding up PCA arrival at BAWS (and knowing you'd be able to eliminate them from the picture, given your firepower)
I get the feeling NG and NG+ were in part simulated by ALLMIND, hence its actions in NG++ to find the optimal route
ALLMIND knew because you wrecked the wheels and that was there because you betrayed the redguns at the dam.
As for why that option is there, honestly should have been there in NG.
If previous paths were a simulation there'd be a more overt and blatant factor of it. For Answer literally had you play the game over again with parts retained where suddenly you'd get a new mission where there wasn't before, and it'd completely change the outcome of the plot by being on the opposite side, and Last Raven fundamentally changed entire story outcomes depending on mission selection.
ALLMIND's cheeky NG+ awareness is more like the developers winking at you, and all three paths being akin to What Ifs where "what if this variable changed? What if ALLMIND decided to act? What if it let Walter/Ayre take the lead on the plot?" There probably isn't a definitive answer for why some shit happens, though I'm going to be of the belief that things like the Analysis fights "stack on" the story rather than strictly only happening in one portion of it. Like the new fights occurred regardless of path. It's the mission deviations and shit going off the rails that then splits the what-ifs.
You know that’s exactly what they’re doing though right?
NTA original poster, but ALLMIND changes things based on your first 2 runs. That’s why strider adds a defend mission and gets attacked by c weapons. It’s ALLMIND guaranteeing the strider dies of you don’t take the mission.
There’s a few more examples like BAWS etc where she’s manipulating you to change outcomes and guarantee certain factors for her goals.
Go into the analysis data for ayre and Walter. Run 1 and 2 she knows about them getting their own AC’s before they do because she has calculated Snails plans in advance. That’s how she knows to warn you before Ibis.
Run 3 is the real run. 1 and 2’s simulations start after you register with Allmind and after it’s cloaked little prick spots you. Since that moment of registration: total theorycraft by her. Her alpha/beta/gamma are specifically improved based on your combat data. It tells you at the start of arena and analysis. It’s also why the last 3 analysis are hidden until NG++. They’re hidden until the end of her mathing out the future for certainty.
The final ALLMIND fight also shows how ayre gets her mech so quickly to join you. She hacked its location from ALLMIND who already figured Ayre would try and take an unlimited AC if she needed to fight.
>spend all of NG+ trying to make a knock off gundam that uses energy weapons work >keep fucking it up, kinda feels like ass to play, and leaves me struggling against pretty much every boss in the game >only finally figure it all out and perfect the build fighting Walter >ditch it immediately to make a new mech for NG++
Shame.
>lets play sum ac yeeaaah >spends 3 hours messing around with decals and image editor >try out new weapons >s rank ayre to test it out >switch back to ransetsu or laser rifles >rinse repeat
Why's the game so fun, bros?
>tfw photo mode doesn't let you pose your AC, i.e. turn your head and body, and you can't do that ingame at all
I have ideas for kino screenshots but they can't be until I get bone posing, or fucking rip the models and recreate my AC in blender
Yes but I just did it too for the second Balteus fight
Kick more often. Like, way more often. I cannot stress how strong the kick is against shields. Assault Armor, too. And melee. A shield is basically your signal to just do something other than shoot.
Missile tracking giga nerfed
Just boost up and fast drop by not moving will dodge it now compared to where you had to assault boost at the fucked and half the missiles would still hit you after doing a 180
Missiles only hit you if you hugged him and melee'd just as they left and did a Uturn.
Now they just turn a bit slower and less of them hit you if you just strafe next to him.
The difference is around 1-2K damage prepatch to 500-1K damage postpatch.
The missile spam was always his big spectacle distraction attack, it only hit you if you stood still to charge big weapons on a biped.
Balteus real filters were his huge 3-4K damage cannon that he backpedals with and point blanks you of you get close as well his recharging shield requiring the player be hyper a gressive, otherwise you'd barely deal any HP damage.
Plus the flame sword on phase 2 and surprise near instant assault armor.
This goes so fucking hard. I'm surprised with how much I've enjoyed the OST, at first it seemed underwhelming but now even minor tunes like some in the hanger are really sticking with me.

ALLMIND was really subpar as the final final boss theme..... it was actually a real letdown after all the other hype ones and all the chaotic and "shits getting real" build up in the route.
I had to check if i didn't have a second video playing at the same time. The tastes are low around armored core and it's all i've learned in these threads.
>change to tank with songbirds/needles/flamethrowers >spergs claim you didn't beat it and have to use shittier builds for the situation so it counts
As if Ganker doesnt encourage thw behavior.
The fucking Gundam in the room the third time you get to assault the fucking wall building is kicking my ass. What do? I'm using a plasma rifle, the sword you can charge and 2 shoulder mounted missile launchers, the ones that split into several small ones.
This guy is low key the hardest boss in the game purely because you have to spend like 5 minutes getting there if you also do the combat log. You need to unequip low damage weapons and go for some heavy weapons. Melee works well here as well because he doesn't move around that much.
Nah, the grunts are easy. The main problem is that the core gameplay is about you making circles around the enemies while you blast them, or rush into them when you see an opening, so when you're in such a confined space, you're fucked.
His big dip is the shield bash because it's fast Af and he likes to respond to desperation with it. It feels like you're supposed to.punish him.missing with it too but the recovery is fast so don't try it. His openings are right before and after he does a big cannon shot.
>The merc that just takes out loan after loan and racks up unthinkable amount of debt. >uses the money he borrowed to craft a top of the line AC and just kills the debt collectors after him
This guy managed to beat capitalism holy based
>chose the generator with the highest energy firearms to have some fun with double stun guns >en output is very small
Why don't they let you have some funny with energy builds?
Lower capacity missile launchers lock on faster, reload faster and weigh less than their higher capacity counterparts. Despite shooting less missiles, they can sometimes be more consistent at building up stagger since there's less dead time between salvos if you pace them properly.
thank you anons, im gonna have to experiment between 6 and 10 cell

If the target is standing still, you can inflict a ton of damage on the trainer AC. But that is assuming the stagger won't knock the mech out of the beam's path, and you can't course correct mid-execution. Kind of sucks tbh.
I'm still amazed at how well this runs on a 1070 GTX. I was worried it would be shitty and held off for a week but couldn't help myself. Seems FromSoft finally got their shit together and made a well optimized PC port for once.
It runs good in general but there's some really poorly optimized effects. >assault armor drops to 60 >balteus' drops to 30 >stuff like cannons exploding on the wall drop to 100
Honestly, it's probably good on a crazy ass boss like Ibis with her moonbeam spam.
Since if you have 1 songbird and a shotgun, you that's enough to stagger and pilebunker the bitch if you don't miss.
Giving up on at least 1/4th of your damage/knockback output just ain't worth it. I wonder if the shields would be worth it with a special shield bash alternative attack for assault boost kick, or something like that.
I swear Iguazu is the most annoying cunt when it comes to S-ranking missions. Little fuck just constantly circle strafes with a shield stalling things out, and has a surprisingly quick stun recovery.
False sense of superiority because they supposedly have cutting edge HC. Also they're bootlickers probably raised with the idea that big daddy government can't get beaten.
Kind reminder that if you aren't playing version 1.01 you are in fact not playing the game, just a gutted husk.
Don't hate me, I'm not the one who makes these rules. Just a helpful messenger.
Besides IBIS, the nerfs are extremely minor and barely noticable unless you play the Baletus and Spider fight 10 times prepatch and 10 times postpatch back to back.
IBIS was overtuned and it now much better fight without the restart spam in the first 15 seconds if you got instantly combo'd then needing to use 2 kits.
Having to use just 1 kit if you fuck up on a moon wave combo is much more reasonable, and actual shitters will still get their kits wasted barely finishing phase1.
I see people keep complaining about pistol ammo but other than Michigan level I never really had trouble with it. Double coquillett imo is just as good as Zimmerman in most situations for staggering just lose out in damage. It's an insanely fun light build kit.
You know those missions when you take down PCA warships? You know that you're attacking their command deck when you take them down right? Like there's people in those command decks behind the windows watching you stand in front of it about to crash into them.
>Shield that turns into a sword >Laser canon that turns into a sword >Cool wing missile launchers
Government gets all the cool shit, fuck this.
why does all PCA sounds smug as shit
I dunno, they just sound professional. I like how calm they all sound, and how most of them focus on transmitting combat data upon death so that the next squad has a better chance. Shame there isn't a PCA route (or Balam route for that matter).
>play game >shit self-insert wish-fulfilment fantasy circlejerk about some mary sue who is the "most talented" and has a chosen one waifu and his enemies respect him even when he kills them
Why can't games have grounded, down to earth protagonists like m- I mean Iguazu?
Imagine wanting to play as that shitter >picks a fight with Michigan, eats shit >forced to become a redgun >talks mad shit about attacking the wall, pussies out at the last moment >leaves his only friend to die >gets no bitches >sucks ass >picks a fight with freelancers, eats shit every fucking time >pussies out and hires a merc instead of fighting like a man
My laser shotty & plasma missile build. I use it mostly in PvP because I S-ranked the game and have nothing else to do. People never expect the charged laser shotty blast.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKNIG MUTTS!
Iguazu is the greatest character ever! The From's best written character! The most charismatic mecha character!
Go wank to your invisible waifu 621tards!
I'm practically nearing the end of NG++ chapter 3, and the destroy the transport choppers mission was nice, but it appears I'm no longer getting new armor pieces from the shop.
>but it appears I'm no longer getting new armor pieces from the shop.
You'll get more shit from the arena and chests later on. You'll also be able to complete the log hunt and get more from that too.
>spend hours trying to make cool emblems and decals >can't make anything good so just discard everything
It's tiresome, I have no fucking creativity...
Try to copy simple logos first, as training. Then when you want to create an original logo, draw it on a piece of paper, it will help you understand what kind of shape you need in the editor.

I still can't get over the fact that they built an entire tank just to simply attach it to an AC. The animations on the core AC are hilarious, for example, the core will kick it's legs up and back in a Superman pose when the tank boosts around.
What would be the mecha equivalent of tying a bandana or having an armband on your arm? The closest I've come to that effect is with the basho arms decal recoloring and adding other decal details to the middle piece of the arm armor but I've considered just adding a stripe somewhere instead.
>S-Ranking the alternate coral convergence
This is so much worse than the regular version. Who the fuck thought 2 duo AC fights with no resupply was a good idea.
I got it first try. Let the institute drones stagger one of the first ACs and then go in with big dick weapons of your choice for an instakill. Then in the Snail&G5 fight, let them fight amongst themselves as much as possible and capitalise on staggers.
How do people apply gradient decals cleanly?
I've seen some good-looking ones, so I thought I'd give it a try. Even the slightest overlap throws the colours off.
>my boy, just burn the entire fucking planet down because i can't let go of things that happened half the century ago, it doesn't matter your perfect soulmate is also one of the coralians and the setting is so fucked literally any change will be a positive one
I felt shittier doing this ending than after Shura ending in Sekiro and 3 fingers in ER.
>widespread poverty enough to drive people to become soldiers in interplanetary wars >wars so brutal they engulf entire planets >art is dead, one of the last drawfags is a soldier >gangs, drugs, secret kabals, constant backstabbing between factions >insanely brutal government, equally brutal corporations with internal re-education camps where they literally lobotomize people
Nah
Fuck it
Coral it is
Huh, you're right. Redshift deals 200+ more damage. I guess it's a decent compromise because it's more practical to use regular slashes than waste precious seconds to charge a single shot.
It's alright. You don't need to worry about the "melee attack thrust" stat at all and you still get max range on the weapon. It's good for a heavy build imo.
>Both are shit >infinite projectiles with considerable tracking, aoe and damage rivaling higher tier laser rifles >absolutely gorilla tier charge attack almost comparable to a fucking pilebunker despite its arc and range
>absolutely gorilla tier charge attack almost comparable to a fucking pilebunker despite its arc and range
It's less than half the damage of pile bunker.
I would much rather have a real gun that doesn't go on cooldown after two slow shots. The charged attack is easy to avoid and doesn't have good direct hit modification. The only good thing about it is that it looks cool as fuck. But it's just a tier above that shitty laser sword you can buy in chapter 1 that makes you spin.
>The charged attack is easy to avoid
Pve has CONSIDERALBE issues avoiding charge attacks. Almost like they are not programmed to avoid it at all. It's one of the best melee weapons to use in pve scenarios aside from the lance and starter plasma cutter.
And yet it constantly nabs me finishes. People always get hit by the second.
Also the fact you can throw out one slash then move tends to throw people off.
Just personal experience in pvp.
why are you using the sword without basho? get basho, redshift in main, moonlight on shoulder and you can have lots of sword beams with very low cooldown
It's very good, but it couldn't carry Walter's rifle. Kind of sucks because Walter's rifle has good ammo capacity compared to the redshift rifle (of which the basho arms can carry).
>near mandatory if you want melee
Only if you're a minmaxing turbo shitter. Every time I see someone with those disgusting moron arms I know they're a gay.
>Basho
It's not necessarily ugly, but it doesn't match the looks of most sets, and it has piss poor firearm specs, so you have to really focus on melee to make it worth it
For me, it's EL-TA-10 Firmeza for aesthetics and VP-46D for stats, melee wise
I'm going to edit my emblem, build a new "main" AC and then start NG++ but WTF I'm in love with this game bros. Never played AC before cuz I was too poor for a console back then. Been a mecha fan for a long, long time tho and this is amazing. I just want more, a PvE challenge mode or something, new PvP modes whatever. I don't want it to end, one of the best games I've played in a long time.
why does every piece of shit online use the most braindead, boring, anti-fun builds imaginable?
there's no fuckin ranks or anything here you retards, use something cool, live a little
Here's my long range build I use against dual zimzam apes. They usually just assault boost at me and get shredded. The generator is key for damage.
Laser rifles are underrated, one of my favorite builds is a fairly standard mid biped with plasma missiles, an offhand little gem zooka I can swap for the pimp whip and then just have one of these VE66LRA. More often than not it mogs people in PvP and it really shouldn't. I just made it to have a very well rounded and "normal" feeling build for PvE

I don't like how I have to hold it down for 4 seconds especially since before it ramps up it's the worst shield in the game. The buckler and the one with 1.6 seconds of IG seems better if you have charge weapons or use your left hand weapon frequently.
This chart is convincing even before acknowledging the fast projectile speed on these things or the large charged damage potential from an arm weapon. Really good for builds that aren't stagger dependent.
>don't have that much time to play, still lagging behind and not finished with NG++ yet >when i sit down i blitz missions so fast the majority of my time is painting, decals, part testing, figuring what feels good for this session
FUCK IT'S 2002 ALL OVER AGAIN
I got really drunk tonight and told my girlfriend I don't love her because she's boring and has no interests. She cried a lot but I feel really happy to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading lol
Well that's a shame. How old are you? Once you get older there's nothing more valuable than coming home to a cooked meal and a clean house. Looks are nothing in the long run since all women wall eventually.
What's good to beat latter wave defense missions braindead?
Quad legs plus laser rifles and missiles? I just don't really enjoy the timed defense missions when I'm looping ng+
I have a high mobility build with four missile launchers, shoulder ones are the basic 4 missile ones, and the hand launcher
A single salvo takes out most basic MTs and it reloads super fast. I could finish the missile defense mission with just one at around 80% hp
>carla's missiles
plasma rifle, plasma missiles and worm cannon for toyboxes/warship clear shit before it can even do anything, extremely piss easy mission >9/11
coral rifle, coral sword for 15 rank, good ranged shoulders to nuke snipers, either assault boost or shield barrier suicide drones, make sure to hit the fat MT spawn before it starts shooting shield for retarded damage
for story just replace coral weapons with analogues
This actually bummed me out, I was excited playing NG+ because I had done the Arcebus mission at first, but then was planning to do the Ambush the Vespers mission the second playthrough. I was hoping it'd save Balem but was just told "lmao you didn't kill them so Rusty did." and the plot continued as normal anyway.
the fuck you need damage for with bullshit retarded acs damage it deals? stun enemy with its fast gigantic aoe the size of your mom and some needle gun if needed, use shoulders to delete the enemy, ez
Melee specialization is a damage multiplier and can melt ACs in two hits with the best arms. Firearm specialization is for tracking locked on targets. If their strafing and your stat is high the crosshair will stay on them. It depends more on your weapon and distance from target, but don't ditch it completely.
zimmies should have the high recoil that halts your momentum
its a nerf that only effects light weight gays doing assault boost gayry while retaining the flavour of being huge chunky shotties
There are quite a few different missions, and some unique equipment you wouldn't get otherwise. You can just rush the missions you already played. I'm nit usually one to do that but I kinda enjoyed replaying everything
There are new parts and missions even into NG++. Just make sure in NG+ you betray the redguns volta and iguazu at the dam and you'll unlock the new missions.
Is that redguns part supposed to be in canon? It makes no sense to me that you can just pull this off and still get jobs after that like nothing happened.
I'd like to see the face of Iguazu after 621 says "So, like, uhm, this here Liberation Front de facto leader just offered me twice the pay to kill you guys, no offense. Well, you gonna pay quadruple to stay alive or what?"
Yes, you get new missions, new arena fights, new parts, and new weapons. Much of the new stuff is locked behind a NG+ option you get on the dam complex mission. It's not like the missions are difficult with all your gear from completing NG, you can just enjoy curbstomping the opposition while waiting for the new stuff
some new parts
missions you never done
new endings
new playthroughs take fuck all because only one mission in the very ass end of playthough 3 has chests so you can speedrun them in few minutes and generally use as practice runs for S ranks
>playan pvp >having a good time in teams, everyone's using builds that seem to be their own and not copy paste metashit >then some fag joins and just sits in the fucking sky all day shitting explosions >fun immediately stops
I'm realizing that there must be tons of players who "beat" the game doing only one playthrough and didn't touch NG+ thinking that's all there is to it. Honestly replaying the levels is what gives this a 6th gen console feel. It's like being a kid and only have a handful of games so you replay the same ones after school over and over trying to unlock everything or doing some kind of special self made challenge.
>only have a handful of games so you replay the same ones
imagine not living in a place where you can pirate freely and only be limited by hardware
can't be me
I want to play AC6 but my controllers won't register correctly. On one the shoulder buttons won't register and on the other the trigger buttons won't register. They do in other games though. I'm using DS4 controllers with DS4Windows. Any suggestions to fix this?
If you're playing it on steam then steam controller setting shit can fuck with ds4 windows. If you pirated it then I'm not sure. Try updating it, reinstalling the ds4 drivers, or maybe your controllers are broken?
Rifles and smgs are much more viable to use now. Theyre actually quite fun to use if you havent conditioned your brain to want to kill an enemy in 0.002 secs.
Ransetsu-RF is looking decent. Not top tier or anything but viable.
I did a run with Ransetsu-AF and it feels normal, in contrast to feeling like shit
Still feels like nothing hits consistently above 150m even with proper arms and FCS. Hopefully they'll either bump projectile speeds further or give long range a damage buff to make up for all the misses, because right now mid and above FCS feel like a meme (besides missile lock ofc)
The one at 80 right? I feel it hits best on the lower half of the range. So 130 to 200ish. Still would expect much better if you have rhe best FCS for mid range and high firearm and recoil control
I used them since before the patch but the machine guns are much better now with the bigger ammo reserve.
I like dual wielding ludlows/having a ludlow/chang cheng combo
The burst MG's are good too but I like having a more constant stream of fire with the other two
Vertically dodging some of the slashes help the most
Also for his big slash attack, there's a split second you can close in between the physical slash and the wave
I still don't know how I beat archebus balteus tho, dodging the purple beams feel like sheer luck
Bosses in general don't know how to deal with you being directly under or over them so just fly in and go up or under. If they fly away assault boost to chase them.
This is the build mostly. I use slight changes.
Coral shield and Earshot.
You have to incorporate kicks to make it work but that just adds to the insults.
I'm not asking what makes them do this, I'm asking why the hell I can't have a dinky little bazooka without it fucking up my mobility. I have decent recoil control on my arms but it provides absolutely nothing
recoil control is for rapid fire weapons only and only affects accuracy.
i understand your complaint though, wish there was some weird build you could do that could make you fire off the basic ass rifle charged shots while moving as a biped
>is all the ng+ content obvious?
yes.
unless you have the literal memory and attention span of a fish and can't detect when a mission is completely new.

People say to ignore the spiders but I killed them first. By late game you should be killing the spiders like they were HCs when they first showed up.
Ignore spiders.
You never got to the third phase? Also by the time I got there I just hardlocked onto him, & used the stun needle launcher everytime he got behind me lol
you are going to be slow on the ground
some weapons still have a fire animation if you are grounded, notably snipers like harris
you reign supreme airborne surprisingly since you can hover around and since you can have so many goddamn heavy weapons equipped you can reign down missiles after missiles on grounded enemies with splash damage and more
since you are so heavy, your stagger bar will not drop fast and retains your damage more than a light build would
if you get caught out, its far harder to escape your situation since you are, again, such a big fat mech
I'm guessing the coral entities bound themselves to the mechs in order to exist in the physical realm, but not sure why the black hole is there, or did they land on a different planet. But then Ayre says they're now multi-dimensional beings that can exist anywhere... wtf.
Nah, Armored Core 6 is a waste of time!

>The final boss is a re-skin of Radahn but voiced by a woman who reveals that he/she is true hero of the story and it's trying to protect the world from the real villain who is the comedic relief character and one of the characters that is voice by a white man
>There's a reference to Ukraine War (it's very subtle)
>One NPC references to Sphere Hunter
>you achieve completion in less than 10 hours
>NG+ barely changes the difficulty
>NG++ locked behind a paywall
>When you get the option to customize your mech an NPC will say "I'm glad you are proud of who you really are" after selecting a "colorful" paint job
>There's a paint job for every LGBTQ+ flag and they are all free and ate already unlocked.
>Amongst the rubble of the world a wall is still standing, this is a black lives matter mural.
>Nearby there's an upgrades cache that will give you a skill that allows you to try and solve conflicts peacefully.
>The merchants will often mention of how there's always "evil beings" stealing the lighting of more deserving people (probably a reference to how black people believe that Edison stole a black man's invention when he made the lightbulb despite this not being true)
>There's a Chadwick Bozeman reference, in an old database that tells the story of an engineer that was "as fierce as a panther"
There's lots of other shit Fronsoft crammed in there just to tell that they hate their audience
nice pasta, meanwhile I'm having fun driving giant mechs around and shooting stuff
I have no clue why you keep posting this antidimes pasta that doesn't draw instead of sticking to the starfield territories
There's too much people that would agree with my Starfield pasta, which means less (you)s, which is bad, I'm branching out.
Is that you listfag from Monster Hunter World? Thought you killed yourself
I'm a different anon, i have been at it since Elden Ring last year.
>try to TORtanic two games
>both games end up immense commercial/critical successes
lol
lmao even
I have actually made pastas for a lot of games, Elden ring was just the first one.
I have made for every major release since February 2022, here's a list of that
>Elden Ring
>Starfield (Right from the announcement trailer)
>Nintendo direct April 2022
>Multiversus
>Minecraft (it's a whole 9/11 joke)
>Omori/Limbo/Undertale (any earthbound inspired indie game)
>God of War Ragnarok
>Forespoken: Based edition
>Xenoblade 3
>Scorn
>Pentiment
>Dead space remake
>HiFi Rush
>Hogwarts Legacy
>Nintendo direct early 2023
>Pizza tower
>Metroid prime
>Atomic Heart
>RE4 Remake (REm4ke)
>BotW/TotK
>Rework of Starfield pasta
>AC6
>Baldur's Gate 3
I guess I'll have to do one for Lies of P since it's a souls-like game.
Why do you do that exactly?
God you're retarded
A pasta isn't a pasta unless other people copy/paste and post it too, you fucking moron. That's why it's called a COPY PASTA.
One guy (you) autisticly green texting about a game is not a "pasta."
You're a loser.
and you'll keep it up till you have a nice day
>>The voice acting is impecable, you can notice most of them are black
I read that pasta and thought Handler Walter is black, because of his 'black sounding voice' but the dude is white.
>Character creator makes you select between body type A and body type B
Whut?
Ragnarok
I like your choice in head design >:)
Pile punker chad
that's cool, I like how you use weapon swap for zimmerman and pilebunker. you don't use missiles at all? what about flying enemies?
The Huxley + Needle gun is good enough for em, if not, I just assault boost and use the left hand weapons.
I got many other builds to swap between if that doesn't work
3 days spent trying to learn emblem tracing and I've gotten nowhere... I don't think I have the autism levels required for this.
Who could it be?
Are endings 1 and 2 just simulations running in ALLMIND's processor, and that's why she alerts PCA at BAWS arsenal so you end up wiping the floor with em earlier than usual?
Doesnt explain 621's NG+ gear in NG++ if it's just a simulation however
No. What? They aren't simulations you fucking retard.
>How do you explain the 621 having NG+ weapons from mission 1
same way they explained it in other AC games: shut up you just have it
ALLMIND knew because you wrecked the wheels and that was there because you betrayed the redguns at the dam.
It's 3 different runs. (You) the player just know more than the characters in game.
Ng++ ending corrupts space/time, meaning 621 can experience the first two endings
Wish I could put decals on my guns
Sticking to this pattern for now
coralkino
>spend all of NG+ trying to make a knock off gundam that uses energy weapons work
>keep fucking it up, kinda feels like ass to play, and leaves me struggling against pretty much every boss in the game
>only finally figure it all out and perfect the build fighting Walter
>ditch it immediately to make a new mech for NG++
Shame.
Thats cool i guess but check out this Robot, Loser
>lets play sum ac yeeaaah
>spends 3 hours messing around with decals and image editor
>try out new weapons
>s rank ayre to test it out
>switch back to ransetsu or laser rifles
>rinse repeat
Why's the game so fun, bros?
Cute ACs>edgy ACs
nice colors and decals composition.
Does the visor do the cool thing like the cutscene?
Every time you lock on to an enemy. Then it retracts back when no enemies are in range. Just like missile launchers etc.
neat.
Any fun melee builds?
There is a chainsaw build that is kinda anti meta and pretty fun.
Lance/pulse blade + pile bunker
Double moonlights
Plasma thrower with wheelchair
For me it's oscillator with ml-redshift and some kind of missile launcher.
most recent ac I've done
it does a lot of lasers
I tried a similar AC but it felt way too slow to play for me.
>tfw photo mode doesn't let you pose your AC, i.e. turn your head and body, and you can't do that ingame at all
I have ideas for kino screenshots but they can't be until I get bone posing, or fucking rip the models and recreate my AC in blender
I want to know where the fuck I can get these models
Am I a shitter for ditching my cool plasma and laser rifle for the pulse gun every time some moron with a never ending shield rolls up?
Yes but I just did it too for the second Balteus fight
Kick more often. Like, way more often. I cannot stress how strong the kick is against shields. Assault Armor, too. And melee. A shield is basically your signal to just do something other than shoot.
Just fought Balteus for the first time, and after the patch. Beat him on my third try. How bad was he nerfed?
Missile tracking giga nerfed
Just boost up and fast drop by not moving will dodge it now compared to where you had to assault boost at the fucked and half the missiles would still hit you after doing a 180
Yeah, I didn't really feel like I even needed to follow a pattern. I just charged him, hit him with plasma weapons and meleed him when able.
Feels bad, I like overcoming the harder From bosses...
>The difference is around 1-2K damage prepatch to 500-1K damage postpatch.
Damn bro you slow as fuck if you're taking that much damage prepatch.
I can't believe I clicked that shit.
My youtube recommendations will never recover.
When I first heard that theme, I stood up and shouted "KINO!"
Fuck snow worm. I can't beat this piece of shit in NG+
This goes so fucking hard. I'm surprised with how much I've enjoyed the OST, at first it seemed underwhelming but now even minor tunes like some in the hanger are really sticking with me.
Been listening to that too, boss fight is absolute kino. Most tracks didn't really stand out to me but that one did
ALLMIND was really subpar as the final final boss theme..... it was actually a real letdown after all the other hype ones and all the chaotic and "shits getting real" build up in the route.
I had to check if i didn't have a second video playing at the same time. The tastes are low around armored core and it's all i've learned in these threads.
We are all very impressed about how you're such a jaded gaymer and don't like things, please have sex with my mom
>NG++
>mission to Escort the STRIDER shows up for the first time
Is this necessary to get the Alia Iacta Est ending? I'm seeing conflicting info on google
Yes.
As a rule of thumb, you should be taking all missions that weren't there on your previous cycles.
Do all the arena and analysis on top of that
I don't get why people got filtered on this mission, it was really easy, just used a plasma riffle and a grenade launcher for those wheel fuckers
the answer to "why does X filter people" is they refuse to ever change anything about their build or how they approach the fight
>change to tank with songbirds/needles/flamethrowers
>spergs claim you didn't beat it and have to use shittier builds for the situation so it counts
As if Ganker doesnt encourage thw behavior.
imagine giving a fuck about what Ganker thinks
>complaining about the one guy spamming that meme
Missiles and laser lance
What's the "BOOOOOSTING IM BOOOOOOSTING" generator+booster combo?
I know it's gotta be the fin boosters
two laser builds. both strong and fun
Dancer Tomorrow. Normally the laser rifle is stored on the shoulder rack so he can punch to conserve ammo on long missions.
cool af
Damn. Same designer as the dreary moon?
Nope, different guy
Pretty dope look
kino
Actually cool af, i tip my wine glass to you.
>they won't let you dual wield melee because double pile bunker would render most bosses obsolete
Silent Whisper. Absolute shitter build but he looks good doing it.
cant find it
Its in there
It's literally right at the start
You're going to get so filtered by some of the later logs LMAO
I am literally at Log hunt level 14
This is NG++
I asked a simple question, moron gay
It's where the hidden weapon is and it's a sniper dude
Thanks
he's never there on the escape route so I never found him till now. didnt think to check before blowing the shit up
i still don't know how i got this shot to look so cell shaded
just accidental gundam screencap for my gundam kitbash
>NG++
>do Xylem mission
>disable Xylem
>Allmind calls you instead Walter
>Boss of RLF shows up and tries to kill you
>he has the crazies
WHAT THE FUCK
Machi Mech
C-cute
The fucking Gundam in the room the third time you get to assault the fucking wall building is kicking my ass. What do? I'm using a plasma rifle, the sword you can charge and 2 shoulder mounted missile launchers, the ones that split into several small ones.
you probably want something heavier than that, the missiles will just tickle him
I guess I'll go try some of those shoulder mounted grenade launchers, thanks.
This guy is low key the hardest boss in the game purely because you have to spend like 5 minutes getting there if you also do the combat log. You need to unequip low damage weapons and go for some heavy weapons. Melee works well here as well because he doesn't move around that much.
The taste of AI waifu was just too strong.
Uhh meant to reply to
Nah, the grunts are easy.
>The merc that just takes out loan after loan and racks up unthinkable amount of debt.
>uses the money he borrowed to craft a top of the line AC and just kills the debt collectors after him
This guy managed to beat capitalism holy based
what arms are those?
Wrecker. You get them from a hidden chest.
Specifically this chest, down the molten iron pipe
>chose the generator with the highest energy firearms to have some fun with double stun guns
>en output is very small
Why don't they let you have some funny with energy builds?
GET KICKED IN THE GONADS
is there a reason people run 10-cell missiles over 12-cell?
Lighter and come out faster, and 6 cell come out even faster than them
thank you anons, im gonna have to experiment between 6 and 10 cell
Weight I guess
Lower capacity missile launchers lock on faster, reload faster and weigh less than their higher capacity counterparts. Despite shooting less missiles, they can sometimes be more consistent at building up stagger since there's less dead time between salvos if you pace them properly.
The smaller ones also look a lot better.
Less weight and energy
Reload is faster
Better range
The 10 cell also they seem IMO better about building and keeping stagger than the 12 cell.
12 cell I'll use for specific maps with more towers or verticality, or for the Juggernaut and Smart Cleaner bosses and 10 cell for everything else.
HOLY SHIT I hope this weapon is as good as it looks... in PvE.
It's hard to keep the charge+ on AC sized targets since it turns on free aim and completely obscures your reticle.
If the target is standing still, you can inflict a ton of damage on the trainer AC. But that is assuming the stagger won't knock the mech out of the beam's path, and you can't course correct mid-execution. Kind of sucks tbh.
Like this for example. The knockback is random as far as I could tell, and this is me firing from point blank.
Spin your reticle in a tight circle and it hits more consistently
Oh shit, you can!
Higher camera sensitivity gives more control. Mouse aim seems to be the best way to use it
The Kamehameha Cannon is a big disappointment.
I'm still amazed at how well this runs on a 1070 GTX. I was worried it would be shitty and held off for a week but couldn't help myself. Seems FromSoft finally got their shit together and made a well optimized PC port for once.
It runs good in general but there's some really poorly optimized effects.
>assault armor drops to 60
>balteus' drops to 30
>stuff like cannons exploding on the wall drop to 100
ps4 runs smooth as butter too surprisingly
Has anyone tried shields?
Are they even worth it?
yeah, they're good if you pick one with decent IG and heat build up
Since they have no toggle option, no.
skill issue
I've found that a shield's usefulness is easily outmatched by just having another gun.
I like the coral shield on my more chunkier builds
Honestly, it's probably good on a crazy ass boss like Ibis with her moonbeam spam.
Since if you have 1 songbird and a shotgun, you that's enough to stagger and pilebunker the bitch if you don't miss.
Giving up on at least 1/4th of your damage/knockback output just ain't worth it. I wonder if the shields would be worth it with a special shield bash alternative attack for assault boost kick, or something like that.
they're worth it, you just need to use a setup that benefits from trades
If you can read your opponent well, you can completely invalidate zimms with perfect parries.
yes, but you'll have to adapt your playstyle depending on which shield you use
Arquebus Balteus is kicking my ass, recommend me weapons please
bubble gun
stun needle
laser lance then pilebunk, use bubbles to deplete his shield
Shields are weak to impact damage (which is retarded but whatever), so your usual big impact big direct hit build works well.
Just wait for him to be nerfed as well.
I swear Iguazu is the most annoying cunt when it comes to S-ranking missions. Little fuck just constantly circle strafes with a shield stalling things out, and has a surprisingly quick stun recovery.
Fuck you AND your mission ranks, freelancer.
Dual Ducketts are pretty god
You've been destroying your sanity in pvp, right Ganker?
Nah, I've been destroying my sanity in the emblem editor.
Sanity ?
False sense of superiority because they supposedly have cutting edge HC. Also they're bootlickers probably raised with the idea that big daddy government can't get beaten.
I've been playing all the missions through as the npcs. Did rusty, gonna try a mad stomp run
does anybody else think the profile shots of the integration system acs turning their lights on is cool as fuck
Your words are nothing but empty cope
I see people keep complaining about pistol ammo but other than Michigan level I never really had trouble with it. Double coquillett imo is just as good as Zimmerman in most situations for staggering just lose out in damage. It's an insanely fun light build kit.
I like using the pistols too, but having the bullets constantly miss due to their low velocity is so goddamn annoying.
How big are these fucking mechs? On missions with fir trees and shit my mech was towering over them.
Think of them as very angry walking buildings.
15m
10 meters, give or take 1. Typical size from AC2 to AC4A.
You know those missions when you take down PCA warships? You know that you're attacking their command deck when you take them down right? Like there's people in those command decks behind the windows watching you stand in front of it about to crash into them.
How to stop thinking about Iguazu's huge penis?
have you tried not daydreaming, iguazu
Honestly want to have these parts.
I need that torso with the disco ball in it.
The PCA has a lot of really cool shit, hope they put some of it in an expansion or DLC.
why does all PCA sounds smug as shit
they have government funding
they blew a ton of money on LCs and HCs and need to convince themselves that it was worth it
>Shield that turns into a sword
>Laser canon that turns into a sword
>Cool wing missile launchers
Government gets all the cool shit, fuck this.
I dunno, they just sound professional. I like how calm they all sound, and how most of them focus on transmitting combat data upon death so that the next squad has a better chance. Shame there isn't a PCA route (or Balam route for that matter).
The PCA Lieutenant's laser blade would genuinely be a great looking left hand weapon.
feel irrationally angry when i see mechs with no melee weapons
bro my Tetrapod build is supposed to hover and rain missiles why would I ever use a melee weapon on it lmao
key word irrationally
but you should be punching them and raining missiles on them
I'll never finish my custom emblems. Keep procrastinating.
>tfw dual-wielding greatswords
>play game
>shit self-insert wish-fulfilment fantasy circlejerk about some mary sue who is the "most talented" and has a chosen one waifu and his enemies respect him even when he kills them
Why can't games have grounded, down to earth protagonists like m- I mean Iguazu?
Imagine wanting to play as that shitter
>picks a fight with Michigan, eats shit
>forced to become a redgun
>talks mad shit about attacking the wall, pussies out at the last moment
>leaves his only friend to die
>gets no bitches
>sucks ass
>picks a fight with freelancers, eats shit every fucking time
>pussies out and hires a merc instead of fighting like a man
Don't forget
>ALLMIND has to settle for him because everyone more competent got their ass kicked
seems like the kind of character your average modern Ganker user would relate to
Iguazu was truly great, I agree
ALLMIND exists to breastfeed all mercenaries.
My laser shotty & plasma missile build. I use it mostly in PvP because I S-ranked the game and have nothing else to do. People never expect the charged laser shotty blast.
It gets the job done.
Add some weathering to those decals, it'll look a lot more fitting.
and add weathering to the weapons too.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKNIG MUTTS!
Iguazu is the greatest character ever! The From's best written character! The most charismatic mecha character!
Go wank to your invisible waifu 621tards!
I will never not bully Iguazu when I have the opportunity
can you even IMAGINE being Gun 5 Iguazu holy shit lmao
All that FREELANCER cope.
Raven's wings clipped.
I'm guessing the final armor pieces are from Ayre. I'm hunter class 14 and I'm haflway there to 15.
>spend hours trying to make cool emblems and decals
>can't make anything good so just discard everything
It's tiresome, I have no fucking creativity...
Try to copy simple logos first, as training. Then when you want to create an original logo, draw it on a piece of paper, it will help you understand what kind of shape you need in the editor.
I do have some ideas but when I try to make them it looks like shit
Like I said, draw them first, then try to replicate them in the editor.
I kneel
I squeal

How do you kick players from a multiplayer lobby? I'm gonna make a lobby with enforced no cheese strats
Press the AB button again during an assault boost
oh you
There's a dedicated kick button when you select a player in the lobby. Look at the bottom of your screen.
Thanks
Walter telling me I earned all the credits made me really sad for some reason
Like yeah the friend line is sad too but the other one just fucked me up
>telling me i can undergo the surgery and be normal again
man listening to Walter bargaining like that hurts
Up to NG++, holy fuck the Zimmzimms make the cata super pathetic. I only have to fire a single blast at a medium range and it immediately staggers.
The hardest part is getting to be able to face it directly.
On my runs its' just spamming diffuse lasers 24/7 and running a circle around me
I still can't get over the fact that they built an entire tank just to simply attach it to an AC. The animations on the core AC are hilarious, for example, the core will kick it's legs up and back in a Superman pose when the tank boosts around.
The Enforcer is the hardest boss in the game
Mind BETA looks like a balding old man
If you beat the game after 11 Sept patch, you didn't beat the game.
oh no i hate armored core video game now that i read this post
>god I wish I was in the PCA
What would be the mecha equivalent of tying a bandana or having an armband on your arm? The closest I've come to that effect is with the basho arms decal recoloring and adding other decal details to the middle piece of the arm armor but I've considered just adding a stripe somewhere instead.
What you're looking to do is have one of your arms being red while the rest isn't. That's the stereotypical cool badass colour thing
>every time Iguazu tries to shit on 621
>S-Ranking the alternate coral convergence
This is so much worse than the regular version. Who the fuck thought 2 duo AC fights with no resupply was a good idea.
I got some lucky hits with pike bunker and deleted both Snail and Kizagu
But that mission is cancer
another satisfied customer
>Miyazaki says with a smirk in confusion as Doritos Pope is forced to give him another GOTY award over the other western games
I got it first try. Let the institute drones stagger one of the first ACs and then go in with big dick weapons of your choice for an instakill. Then in the Snail&G5 fight, let them fight amongst themselves as much as possible and capitalise on staggers.
>Snail uses one of the easiest to use, most powerful setups in the game outside hardcore pvp minmaxing

is Rusty the Guts of AC6?
Blaidd
Reminds me of the south park episode where they stop eating meat.

N-Not sure that was cute as fuck, or a deadly premonition........
>mfw realizing only at the final fight of the Fires of Raven route that she might've been hitting on me
I may be a little autistic
How do people apply gradient decals cleanly?
I've seen some good-looking ones, so I thought I'd give it a try. Even the slightest overlap throws the colours off.
>my boy, just burn the entire fucking planet down because i can't let go of things that happened half the century ago, it doesn't matter your perfect soulmate is also one of the coralians and the setting is so fucked literally any change will be a positive one
I felt shittier doing this ending than after Shura ending in Sekiro and 3 fingers in ER.
We know next to nothing about the greater setting retard.
>widespread poverty enough to drive people to become soldiers in interplanetary wars
>wars so brutal they engulf entire planets
>art is dead, one of the last drawfags is a soldier
>gangs, drugs, secret kabals, constant backstabbing between factions
>insanely brutal government, equally brutal corporations with internal re-education camps where they literally lobotomize people
Nah
Fuck it
Coral it is
HEAD BRINGER? More like HEAD CANON.
>>my boy, just burn the entire fucking planet down because i can't let go of things that happened half the century ago
Oh fuck... I think I made a mistake...
This map made that the hardest arena battle for me. Really fucked with my depth perception.
REDSHIFT MOONLIGHT BLADE
Am I doing this right? At 100 meters, the regular moonlight does 300 more damage than redshift moonlight. I thought the red one was more powerful.
Moonlight does more charged damage and direct hit.
Red is better for regular attacks.
Huh, you're right. Redshift deals 200+ more damage. I guess it's a decent compromise because it's more practical to use regular slashes than waste precious seconds to charge a single shot.
You'd know this without testing if you opened the expanded stat screen
Both are shit. Karasawa has been ass forever but this is the first time they made moonlight crappy compared to the other melee options.
It's alright. You don't need to worry about the "melee attack thrust" stat at all and you still get max range on the weapon. It's good for a heavy build imo.
>Both are shit
>infinite projectiles with considerable tracking, aoe and damage rivaling higher tier laser rifles
>absolutely gorilla tier charge attack almost comparable to a fucking pilebunker despite its arc and range
>absolutely gorilla tier charge attack almost comparable to a fucking pilebunker despite its arc and range
That starting sword has no business being as good as it is. Great tracking, great damage, melee dash cancelling tech, it's got it all.
And yet it constantly nabs me finishes. People always get hit by the second.
Also the fact you can throw out one slash then move tends to throw people off.
Just personal experience in pvp.
hey don't knock the fucking laser sword
Red is cooler so it deals more damage.
Trust me anon.
why are you using the sword without basho? get basho, redshift in main, moonlight on shoulder and you can have lots of sword beams with very low cooldown
Damn, that arm has high melee specialization stat.
it's melee arm, near mandatory if you want melee and useless if you don't
It's very good, but it couldn't carry Walter's rifle. Kind of sucks because Walter's rifle has good ammo capacity compared to the redshift rifle (of which the basho arms can carry).
walter's rifle is ass, stupidly heavy, isn't much better than lasers and you aren't hitting anything with charge 2 beam
>and you aren't hitting anything with charge 2 beam
Manual aim it. You can swirl it around pretty fast.
>near mandatory if you want melee
Only if you're a minmaxing turbo shitter. Every time I see someone with those disgusting moron arms I know they're a gay.
t. killed by one melee combo and seething
>Basho
It's not necessarily ugly, but it doesn't match the looks of most sets, and it has piss poor firearm specs, so you have to really focus on melee to make it worth it
For me, it's EL-TA-10 Firmeza for aesthetics and VP-46D for stats, melee wise
>piss poor firearm specs
it's mid and runs like anything you may want to pair with swords fine
I'm going to edit my emblem, build a new "main" AC and then start NG++ but WTF I'm in love with this game bros. Never played AC before cuz I was too poor for a console back then. Been a mecha fan for a long, long time tho and this is amazing. I just want more, a PvE challenge mode or something, new PvP modes whatever. I don't want it to end, one of the best games I've played in a long time.
So whats the right build for that long range FCS?
>(Ricochet)
>(Ricochet)
>(Ricochet)
>long range FCS?
lol. You want a missile FCS and missiles for long range combat.
It's basically just for missiles and bazookas
Don't ask why, fromsoft just always includes a few pure anti-fun mechanics in their game
Missiles don't care about the aim assist.
Oh, they don't? Sorry for the ignorance
>He never examined the additional stats
oh no no no
please elaborate
Did I say missiles don't care about your FCS?
Here's my long range build I use against dual zimzam apes. They usually just assault boost at me and get shredded. The generator is key for damage.
>bornt too early to be mecha's pilot
AC6 really made me depressed
I lost hope in everything after seeing the Megabots v Kuratas event
any new stand out weapons after the patch?
LUDLOWS, CHANG CHEN, and RANSETSU-RF
Dual Ludlows with Dual Huxleys is what I'm using right now for PvE and PvP
why does every piece of shit online use the most braindead, boring, anti-fun builds imaginable?
there's no fuckin ranks or anything here you retards, use something cool, live a little
You are in the minority thinking only weak ACs are fun to use.
It is pretty fun to crush meta tards with random builds though
>when they switch to double zimms and still lose
feels good. It's funny to melt someone with lasers without even staggering them.
>Laser rifles are underrated
True. They get a massive damage boost when you pick the right generator. Check pic rel.
>does mosquito bite tier damage against shields in your path
I've yet to see a shield in PvP
nobody uses shield because the whip's charging motion already doubles as one on top of being a high-impact melee weapon
The whip and chainsaw have shit damage/impact reduction, it can't be more than 30%. Some of the shields, especially coral are very good.
Shield builds are very underrated right now. Scutum and coral shields are very powerful; players just don't want to move on from zimmy quad assault boost kick spam
all the zimmer has to do is stagger the shots
I don't like how I have to hold it down for 4 seconds especially since before it ramps up it's the worst shield in the game. The buckler and the one with 1.6 seconds of IG seems better if you have charge weapons or use your left hand weapon frequently.
This chart is convincing even before acknowledging the fast projectile speed on these things or the large charged damage potential from an arm weapon. Really good for builds that aren't stagger dependent.
I caught a fucker using a punch into pile bunker build with kinetic drones for finish. Shit was insane.
>don't have that much time to play, still lagging behind and not finished with NG++ yet
>when i sit down i blitz missions so fast the majority of my time is painting, decals, part testing, figuring what feels good for this session
FUCK IT'S 2002 ALL OVER AGAIN
I like this mech, but it can't carry everything I wanted.
So latest patch basically do nothing ?
>buffed assault rifles and CURTIS a bit
>nerfed BALTEUS and Sea Spider
eh
I have never used a shield apart first mission
HOLD THE LINE
WE ARE THE CORAL WARRIORS

I got really drunk tonight and told my girlfriend I don't love her because she's boring and has no interests. She cried a lot but I feel really happy to get it off my chest. Thanks for reading lol
What a dumb reason not to like a girl. Can she cook though?
no i cook better than her, all she has going for her is her looks which i dont care about i can just jack off
Well that's a shame. How old are you? Once you get older there's nothing more valuable than coming home to a cooked meal and a clean house. Looks are nothing in the long run since all women wall eventually.
>modern woman
>knowing how to do anything other than social media posting and being an insane cunt
You saved both of yourselves years of wasted time even though you emotionally gut punched her. I hope you don't wake up hungover and regret this.
are you stupid? no women have real interests, they're fucking women
Hunter's Moon.
Shit, I'm getting spooked.
What's good to beat latter wave defense missions braindead?
Quad legs plus laser rifles and missiles? I just don't really enjoy the timed defense missions when I'm looping ng+
The vertical launch plasma missiles are good. Heavy laser rifles should also delete the trash in one hit.
I have a high mobility build with four missile launchers, shoulder ones are the basic 4 missile ones, and the hand launcher
A single salvo takes out most basic MTs and it reloads super fast. I could finish the missile defense mission with just one at around 80% hp
If you want an S-rank on the xylem defence mission, bring the stationary pulse shield and use it to block the suicide drones.
>carla's missiles
plasma rifle, plasma missiles and worm cannon for toyboxes/warship clear shit before it can even do anything, extremely piss easy mission
>9/11
coral rifle, coral sword for 15 rank, good ranged shoulders to nuke snipers, either assault boost or shield barrier suicide drones, make sure to hit the fat MT spawn before it starts shooting shield for retarded damage
for story just replace coral weapons with analogues
>nignogger hands with dual minigun
absolutely ngmi
The fuck was wrong with him
Literally didn't beat the game
Haven't finished NG++ yet but it's either tinnitus or he also made contact
pretty sure all gen 4s have tinnitus, it's caused by coral used in augmentation and is basically the voice of coral
This is my buffalo
He's taking a nap
Respond with "sleep tight"
To forever rest the soundest of slumbers
sleep tight mighty buffalo
>still didn't play online
HOLY SHIT THIS IS AN ENTIRELY NEW SET OF MISSIONS WHAT DOES KATE WANT WITH ME
>WHAT DOES KATE WANT WITH ME
She wants that gargantuan gen 4 dick, 621. Get your head out of your ass.
What is this madness
Pandemonium!
Sparta
Are NG++ parts good?
They're good. They don't really blow away old stuff though. Most of the parts are niche side grades. Except for the Coral Nuke.
Goddammit, Red... I was going to spare your life...
Hopefully a DLC will give us a Balam ending, and then see what kind of crazy stuff they're gonna do once Arquebus is out of the race.
What the fuck did I just go through....
Your safety is now guaranteed.
Congratulations you now have PTSD!
*Claps*
I completed loghunt, but I think I missed a few weapons like the whip, that shoulder weapon that looks like a torpedo.
Torpedo weapon is in the second to last mission in ng++
Don't forget the coral shield there too, that's the only one I'm missing
btw shield is on the ground in the corner near the start and missile is in the room after walter and carla dialogue on the edge
The charged sword sweep has ridiculous range, but damage is kind of poor.
It's 1950 damaged charged and has a direct hit modifier of 210. So it's pretty damn good damage. Slow as shit though, to slow for some AC stuns.
the fuck you need damage for with bullshit retarded acs damage it deals? stun enemy with its fast gigantic aoe the size of your mom and some needle gun if needed, use shoulders to delete the enemy, ez
*SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP*
How much of a difference does firearm and melee specialisation make?
Melee specialization is a damage multiplier and can melt ACs in two hits with the best arms. Firearm specialization is for tracking locked on targets. If their strafing and your stat is high the crosshair will stay on them. It depends more on your weapon and distance from target, but don't ditch it completely.
Nice bait
wut
Dual zimzams and stun needle. Surely you're trying to get people to rage at you.
not really
Red Shoulder B)
shame it's a bit too blurry when applied
I never named my AC I'm thinking of calling it TWO FOR FLINCHING
KNUCKLE BUSTER
Why is a wheelchair the best mode of transport in this game? Isn't this some kind of non PC ism?
You can get faster than that with lightweight bibedals
it represents how tread users are mentally disabled
Also, the DLC better have new maps taking place in a well-lit, non-snow city. Institute City is great and I want more.
what i want from dlc is something like strider except it's an actual combat machine possessing a real threat
zimmies should have the high recoil that halts your momentum
its a nerf that only effects light weight gays doing assault boost gayry while retaining the flavour of being huge chunky shotties
Is it worth playing through the NG's?
I just finished the game yesterday and so far all of the missions are the same - is there anything new you get, parts, weapons, etc?
There are quite a few different missions, and some unique equipment you wouldn't get otherwise. You can just rush the missions you already played. I'm nit usually one to do that but I kinda enjoyed replaying everything
There are new parts and missions even into NG++. Just make sure in NG+ you betray the redguns volta and iguazu at the dam and you'll unlock the new missions.
Is that redguns part supposed to be in canon? It makes no sense to me that you can just pull this off and still get jobs after that like nothing happened.
Yes, it's very canon.
Michigan and DAH FUNG should have paid better.
Michigan doesnt take it personaly, Its just a job, 621.
That’s just Armored Core in general
>oh you killed my men on contract? You rascal, here I have more work for you
It’s an absurdly cutthroat setting.
it was iguazu's fault you fucked everything up and michigan knows it
I'd like to see the face of Iguazu after 621 says "So, like, uhm, this here Liberation Front de facto leader just offered me twice the pay to kill you guys, no offense.
>Is it worth playing through the NG's?
Honestly yes, for all the reasons anons before me listed
Youre missing out on some good missions especially towards the end of chapter 5 on either ending. NG++ is where it gets much more interesting tho.
I'm in the same boat and so far, absolutely, you notice there are different choices and missions that weren't in the first run early on.
Make sure you don’t skip the post mission dialogues too
They’re also different
Maeterlinck's ass
>playan pvp
>having a good time in teams, everyone's using builds that seem to be their own and not copy paste metashit
>then some fag joins and just sits in the fucking sky all day shitting explosions
>fun immediately stops
I'm realizing that there must be tons of players who "beat" the game doing only one playthrough and didn't touch NG+ thinking that's all there is to it. Honestly replaying the levels is what gives this a 6th gen console feel. It's like being a kid and only have a handful of games so you replay the same ones after school over and over trying to unlock everything or doing some kind of special self made challenge.
>only have a handful of games so you replay the same ones
imagine not living in a place where you can pirate freely and only be limited by hardware
can't be me
Zims buff when?
This is my heavy AC for when i just want to delete shit: ARMORED COFFIN
The skull is cute.
chatty love
Why is it in a wheelchair?
Not OP but despite looking like a meme wheelchair is pretty good.
No one said 621 can’t be a girl
westoid scum astroturfing
He is a man
Cry about it you abomination of human hubris
Sad snivelling LOSER
Republic droid
Damn right I am
If your build doesn't utilise 4 unique weapons then you are effectively brain-dead
What about a minigun/zimzam/stun needle/songbirbs build
Why should I dilute my build with subpar weapons? If it's so good why don't I just equip 2?
I tend to agree but two of the same shoulder weapon looks kino.
idc
Didn't ask.
i dunno you seem to be the stupidest person in the thread by far anon
>you must dual trigger two slightly different weapons that conflict
>equip two automatic weapons
>slightly delay the second trigger so they fire 180° out of phase
>equip 4 rocket launchers of 4 second reload
>Fire one every second
Seems based enough to me
I want to play AC6 but my controllers won't register correctly. On one the shoulder buttons won't register and on the other the trigger buttons won't register. They do in other games though. I'm using DS4 controllers with DS4Windows. Any suggestions to fix this?
Kb/m works fine here
If you're playing it on steam then steam controller setting shit can fuck with ds4 windows. If you pirated it then I'm not sure. Try updating it, reinstalling the ds4 drivers, or maybe your controllers are broken?
Now that the dust has settled, any new weapons worth using with 1.02?
Ransetsu-RF is looking decent. Not top tier or anything but viable.
Rifles and smgs are much more viable to use now. Theyre actually quite fun to use if you havent conditioned your brain to want to kill an enemy in 0.002 secs.
I run max mid FCS and it is kinda okayish
The one at 80 right? I feel it hits best on the lower half of the range. So 130 to 200ish. Still would expect much better if you have rhe best FCS for mid range and high firearm and recoil control
I used them since before the patch but the machine guns are much better now with the bigger ammo reserve.
I like dual wielding ludlows/having a ludlow/chang cheng combo
The burst MG's are good too but I like having a more constant stream of fire with the other two
NACHTREIHER parts are sexy as fuck.
>spent 4 hours on ALLMIND
>still can't beat him
Bros...the third phase. Dying in nanoseconds...
If they fly away assault boost to chase them.
i beat him by saving my repair kits and pulse armor for third phase and just rushing him down with everything i've got
Saving repair kits is the hardest part for me. Offscreen RNG in second phase sucks
Stun gun builds will make people ragequit
Saw this build on Youtube and it is unironically kinda kino. Only vs Zimmers
that anon is probably talking about this build if you've not seen it already.
A missile boat with a shield makes short work of this.
Parry
This is the build mostly. I use slight changes.
Coral shield and Earshot.
You have to incorporate kicks to make it work but that just adds to the insults.
Why did Allmind instigate Iguazu to attack us?
Akko?
Fake nemesis to push coral release into being a given.
Allmind is like if Jack O was a sexy AI and is just looking for the strongest Raven to stop the pulveriz... I mean enact Coral Release.
Lel, the rocket does this bellowing whistling sound
Coral sounds cool when you use it.
The Coral is alive, so it'd make sense that the Coral weapons have a wailing noise like it's screaming
Shooting Walters gun fully charged into the air or at the dirt while smoking a cigarette.
>Find cool explosive weapon that fits into the EN load of my lightweight build
>It makes me pause for a fucking second to fire
Why do so many god damn weapons do this
All heavy weapons do that unless using tread legs. Did you not play the tutorial missions?
I'm not asking what makes them do this, I'm asking why the hell I can't have a dinky little bazooka without it fucking up my mobility. I have decent recoil control on my arms but it provides absolutely nothing
Why can't you shoot guns while reloading them? Seems kind of dishonest to the player.
recoil control is for rapid fire weapons only and only affects accuracy.
i understand your complaint though, wish there was some weird build you could do that could make you fire off the basic ass rifle charged shots while moving as a biped
what you guys think?
>metaslaves
How is this a metaslave?
>ludlow
>trueno
>bad options to keep 350 speed
metaslavery
Its shitting its diapers again don't engage
Thanks anons, I'm torn between using ludlow or chang-cheng
This was meant for
This
Pretty nice. Black is always safe.
>Blackout
Syncope
Synonyms are your friend
But good work
>one red arm
Yeah, this is like the same paint job that I use for all my ACs from AC2 - LR
Looks good, I usually dual wield ludlows though on my light builds
Balteus missiles are literally just cosmetic now. What a joke.
is all the ng+ content obvious? like alt paths and stuff
i'm afraid of missing things
yes
>is all the ng+ content obvious?
yes.
unless you have the literal memory and attention span of a fish and can't detect when a mission is completely new.
what is best primary paired with pulse blade
for your inspection
I luv me some bowlegged melander gals.
First AC game
so uhhhh, was Baltheus supposed to be difficult lol? literal 3rd try
>so uhhhh, was Baltheus supposed to be difficult lol
Not any more.
Just got nerfed, but Balteus wasn’t that bad even as a new player.
for casuals and game journos yes. Fromsoft literally had to nerf them in the patch coz people were bitching and crying.
It's just people being bad a vidya games
not really but some people luckshitted their way to him without learning the game
For shitters, yeah.
A month after release and talking about it and post patch that nerfs him?
No he wasn't. Good job secondary!
Someone is upset they got filtered.
>nerfs him
It was just missile tracking
Yeah I know I already told you he was nerfed. You did good beating the chapter 1 boss a month late and knowing how to play the game anon. Proud of you.
are you okay?
Yep
(you). It was a direct reply. I'm proud of you anon.
>Armored Core "veteran" seething at Souls newfag demolishing his game
I'm proud of him. He did a really good job.
His AC looks cool too.
This game isn't even that hard, I don't get the gays trying to be smug about how only they "truely" beat the game
Anyways here's mine
The huge no step decal stands out too much, it otherwise this paint job is really nice. Reminds me of a "test type" of mech.
Thanks, took your advice for the no step markers & decided to put them near areas where it looks like people would actually step on
What's the text on the yellow caution stripes decal?

>demolishing
After the massive nerfs?
>massive nerfs
Yes.
who are you even replying to lol? i just bought the game a few days ago bro
Even then he was only hard if you wanted to go in-and-in-and-in and never disengage in phase 2.
btw, was Baltheus shield supposed to teach me something? i was just using dual laser pistols and it seemed to work but would other weapons have been better at busting through?
Pulse or impact weapons.
how are you supposed to know this? are the shield colors different or something? that lightning whip guy also had a green shield
All pulse shields do the same thing. If your weapon is also pulse, you rip through.
ty, i guess i'll shove a pulse weapon somewhere when i run into these dudes
Shields are pretty few and far between actually, usually it’s just a temporary thing. The pulse sword is great though.
Okay, so... should I focus on the C-weapons first before dealing with Allmind?
No, just go for allmind. dodge or avoid the C-spiders.
People say to ignore the spiders but I killed them first. By late game you should be killing the spiders like they were HCs when they first showed up.
Ignore spiders.
Ok
People who finished NG++, give me your top-3 bosses by difficulty.
1. Ayre
2. Ibis
3. ALLMIND
I'm getting there. Dealing with Allmind first is probably the most sensible choice because his EMP will kill the spiders anyways.
>spoiler
I wasted hours for nothing
You never got to the third phase? Also by the time I got there I just hardlocked onto him, & used the stun needle launcher everytime he got behind me lol
luv rust
luv Dafeng parts
luv me Curtis
simple as
ayre hits me as the kinda girl that had ibs when she was a person
i dont know what i mean by this but it just feels right
may i take your order, sir?
1 Buffalo burger, please
Why do you post this faggy image every thread, moron
Because it's makes you mad and it's working

Is there any downsides to tetrapod legs? Shooting big guns without stopping in place seems like too good of a deal.
Everything has a downside.
>Is there any downsides to tetrapod legs?
Aren't they slow AF? Only tried it for 1 mission and immediately sold it.
They're slow
you are going to be slow on the ground
some weapons still have a fire animation if you are grounded, notably snipers like harris
you reign supreme airborne surprisingly since you can hover around and since you can have so many goddamn heavy weapons equipped you can reign down missiles after missiles on grounded enemies with splash damage and more
since you are so heavy, your stagger bar will not drop fast and retains your damage more than a light build would
if you get caught out, its far harder to escape your situation since you are, again, such a big fat mech
>slow as fuck
>shit QB
>shit jump
>big hitbox
>recoil on shoulder weapons unless you're airborne
Try tanks. Tetrapods are meh.
Goddammit
Used ole reliable
You didn't beat the game
Why is it is it called a earshot when you shot from the in the mech when the target is hot and you and for eat the lead?
because it's right by your AC's ear or your ear and the sound is very loud
earshot means close by. Earshot has the biggest kaboom.
Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades and earshots.
Uhhh... Not sure I fully grasp that final scene...
Nobody did
Replay helicopter mission and Ayre arena fight.
Looks like it pulled a Macross Frontier movie end, Gundam 00 movie end, or Macross Zero.....
Most people end up getting it but you can't talk about it without the coral gays seething that you didn't serve mankind up on a platter for aliens.
I'm guessing the coral entities bound themselves to the mechs in order to exist in the physical realm, but not sure why the black hole is there, or did they land on a different planet. But then Ayre says they're now multi-dimensional beings that can exist anywhere... wtf.
