it's supposed to resemble the way the Gen 3 meta operates but with new tools. before Gen 6, each meta actually had an identity instead of a gimmick. so it still "feels" like Gen 3.
When one of the first few changes they mention is adding fucking weather wars that already invalidates the entire thing being Gen 3
Its not good. As someone who plays showdown id rather play CAP or balanced hackmons if were just making shit up, mind you i didnt play much gen 3 comp.
