how in the actual FRICK do they have 6000 hours in game and they don't have all the achievements?

Sometimes if I like a game enough I'll just walk around (slowly) for hours just looking at stuff, observing texture or model work, level design, clutter, etc. I'll try to find things to read, go through every little ounce of flavor text. I can get to 1000hrs easily without even getting 1/3rd of the achievements before I actually start playing the game the way it was intended to be played. I love video games.

My boomer dad has a few hundred hours in RDR2 and he basically doesn't even play it, it's a cowboy simulator to him.

What would you do in RDR2 for so many hours? Story with all side quests could be completed in 60 hours, there's no replay value, every walkthrough is always the same.

Stalking and murdering people in various ways. That's what I do.

Hey, that's what I do as well. I love games like that. I create these stories in my a head to accompany the murdering.

My favorite activity is walking up to a camp with a mask and a machete and just standing in front of someone to see how they react before I hack them to death

Might have inspired me to redownload this. I never actually finished the game. I got bored with the story. But the open world was great and allowed you to roleplay pretty decently. My favorite game currently is CP2077 with some mods that give flavor text to NPCs. Watchdogs does something similar (the first game, all the other ones are trash)

If you were able to this all in 60 hours then you definitely fricking played the game wrong. Like just just sprinting through everything like a ADHD madman and spending zero time in camp with no hunting or exploring at all. 60 hours for me was just getting to Chapter 4.

I have a shitton of hours in rdr2 singleplayer. It's just a beautiful game to be in, Arthur is such a great character you literally want to hang out with him, do some hunting, completing challenges, finding secrets around the map, hanging around at the camp, waiting to see what Arthur will write/draw in his journal.

I don't play reddit ring and the only good dmc is the first one which has no mashing. Try again, mouth breather.

This. It’s my most played game on steam with 1k hours. It’s just fun and comfy going through the story and being with Arthur. He’s one of the best characters ever. Probably played like 7 playthroughs. Pic in op from the achievements looks like he didn’t even play online which I haven’t either.

        >play online which I haven’t either.
based. Online is just so soulless compared to the singleplayer. You quickly find out that you don't want to share this western experience with some loser online, rdr2 is a solidary experience and in the end you understand that you like the character you control as much as the world itself.

True that. Arthur is the soul of the game and franchise. Sometimes I don’t even play the epilogue because it feels so soulless without him and Wtf I just saw the other thread with this pic and hes a streamer who never played the single player and the half of the achievements he got was red dead online. This guys a fricking loser

I have multiple SAM tabs open so it looks like I'm playing several different games and my hours for most games are insane. In actuality, I'm playing my PS2 emulator.

Nah, don't do that. It makes you look like a gay especially when you got no achievements.

Steam Achievement Manager lets you do that, either all at once or a select amount. I mostly do it on stuff I played on console so shit like New Vegas or Skyrim. Technically I'm just adjusting it to make it more accurate.

Nothing gives me the kind of pleasure and comfort that Monster Hunter does. Sometimes I just want to kill a big beautiful fictional reptile at the end of the day.
