    When doing a ng+ charmless+ demon bell
do you guys use all the seeds from the pervious playthrough? is it ok having 10 heals and a big health bar?

Mega autists will say you have to do charmless on NG (there is a way, apparently) but realistically, if you know where the sneeds are, you can pick up 9 very early anyway. Doesn't make much of a difference.

Got up to the last boss but dropped the game over a year ago due to being filtered. Do I start over fresh or just get my bussy smacked by isshin?

At this point you can update the game and practice parrying on Genichiro at the top of the Castle. Genichiro should teach you how to manage deflect timings again (at least attempt to deflect every hit of Floating Passage, it requires a precise double tap near the end)
Then I'd say practice beating Owl. Owl should re-teach you the controlled aggression needed to fight Isshin's second phase.

And a tip for Isshin: For his 2nd phase onward only attack in combos of 2s. Isshin either deflects the 2nd hit or hyper armors through it to start a combo

        >Genichiro should teach you how to manage deflect timings again (at least attempt to deflect every hit of Floating Passage, it requires a precise double tap near the end)
Isn't it actually impossible to deflect the whole combo normally? Even Ongbal uses the Iron Fortress against him, O'Rin as well

It's pretty inconsistent but I've done it a few times. Absolutely isn't something you should try if you don't have an active life node. Iron Fortress is definitely the right option but I love unga unga parrying

          you can do the following
          >wait until he starts the big flurry, after he does two swipes then spin
          >parry the first two swipes, backdodge
          >come back in to parry the final finishing hit

Sekiro is a 10/10 for me. One of the few as far as modern games are concerned

They should do something similar after ER

The only boss I haven't beat yet is Owl (Father) on NG+2. All other bosses had some kind of tactic, I just don't know what to do with this fucker.

this game merits more discussion than ER
I'll never understand why you gays praise elden ring day and night yet get filtered by a game with 500% more gameplay / mechanic interaction than that shovel ware rehashed horse shit.

you literally have to be fucking retarded.

yeahh I can barely do a 2nd playthrough for the more traditional FROM ARPGs except for BB. Dark Souls is so painfully boring and such a slog, I can't enjoy the series at all except for Demon's Souls

There's effectively zero skill required in Sekiro's offense; it's quite literally R1 mashing until you hear a sound queue, or if they have poise, until they start moving. The latter of which essentially being a dark souls boss, except without the burden of animations that require your full commitment or attacks being tied to a resource.
Defense is a low committal button tap before you get hit with no resource cost, incredibly quick start-up and recovery, and not even any regard for something like the direction of the attack to give it even a hint of complexity. To make things worse if you you still can't land a deflect, just hold the button down and your sword will block as if it were a shield for a hit or two.
We're talking about a combat system with less complexity than Demon's Souls here. What do you see in it?

Did I leave out how you have to either bop it or twist it when the red symbol appears? My mistake, it's such a complex game it's hard to remember all the various components

so retarded you dont even know what im talking about.
people who lack the understanding of sekiros depth come here to talk shit about it.
          not surprised tbh.

            >you dont even know what i'm talking about
Yeah that would be because I can't read your mind you autistic retard. lol.

Even if all of this were true, it still ends up being a more fun, interactive, and satisfying system than any souls game before it. I'll never understand why souls-purists fellate themselves so hard over their "complex" and "skillful" combat dynamics that are just as exploitable (if not moreso) than the ones in Sekiro.

            >Even if all this were true
I wager I'd be reading a proper rebuttal instead of this pathetic cope if it weren't true.
            >more fun, interactive, and satisfying
            yeah alright fella
            > I'll never understand why souls-purists fellate themselves so hard over their "complex" and "skillful" combat dynamics

Hopefully one day I'll discover this hidden depth you're alluding to.

What's your complaint exactly? Its meant to be a tightly designed action game. The simple act of deflecting is fun. There is still micro decision making as you need to be aggressive without overextending. You are rewarded for being aware of openings where evading is better than deflecting. You are rewarded for knowing where a prosthetic tool or combat art has a situational use or is more optimal. If you want variety experiment with tools or arts you haven't used before. If its not challenging enough for you do the mortal journey gauntlet charmless. What do you even want.

As a dodge enthusiast, I strongly advise Sabimaru for those tired of L1 spamming
I hope there's a similar Ash of War as the dodge-attack for daggers in Elden Ring DLC
