this, also go signs build
swords/alch builds are essentially just raw damage/damage reduction increases, which is functionally the same as turning the difficulty down
It's alright. The main problem is every enemy feels the same, and given that you're supposed to be a professional monster slayer with deep knowledge of monsters and stuff, that is pretty bad.
It's not horrible, but it's very repetitive. Geralt doesn't really learn any new moves or any sort of new tricks at all in Witcher 3. The fights play the exact same at level 1 as they do at end game, which in a 100+ hour game gets VERY old.
Repetitive and made for dummies. Like asscreeds and bamham. I dream of a game beautiful like the Witcher 3 with a soulborne combat system + the variety of enemies of Elden Ring.
Bit I'm not complaining much, Elden Ring is beautiful enough to satisfy my craving for adventure and fun.
It's alright, played much worse arpgs in my life. if anything about it that irks me it's how painfully slow your movement speed is, really dislike when combat systems are heavily biased towards dodge spam
Good enough that it doesn't ruin the game. One bad asset can sink a game but I got through this
not as good as 2 but it's fine, could be better. cdpr should look at ghost of tsushima for inspiration in the witcher 4
>he thinks CDPR is the same company that made the witcher games and will do right by 4.
2 is ruined by the randomness of Geralt's animations, even a basic quick attack can turn into a 3-hit spin
fun if you use all the tools, boring if you use only swords

Spin 2 win
It's not great but it's not what the game is about, it's a distant third to the exploration and storytelling
and wives
very cool looking, very shit at actually being a gameplay mechanic.

Its not witcher 1 at least/10
They took Witcher 2 combat and ruined it so that shitters could reach the end by mashing buttons on normal

I don't get the over hate to the combat, it just plays like any shitty hack and slash.
