No but it obscures information that can be the difference between winning and losing, so it should be turned off if you enjoy optimal settings in mp games
chromatic abberation is so fricking bad, I can understand what depth of field and bloom etc can bring as an artistic thing but wtf why CA it doesn't make any sense and it looks so fricking bad always.
At least DOF can be made well and I kinda like a static DoF filter that is supposed to obscure faraway objects to make it hide Lod models
Good motion blur is nice imo
>screenshots of motion
I'd dare to call it aesthetic in some cases
the first thing I do in every game I play is turn off motion blur
This. Motion blur and chromatic aberration is an instant switch off.
does multiplayer motion blur look different?
No but it obscures information that can be the difference between winning and losing, so it should be turned off if you enjoy optimal settings in mp games
WHAT IN THE GOD DAM-
literal eye cancer
only good in racing games and even then i usually turn it off
>launch game for the first time
>go to settings
>increase fov
>turn off motion blur, dof, bloom and chromatic aberration
>enjoy game
Depth of field is almost always bad, I don't know why they can't seem to get it right
Do you always look exclusively at the center of your screen and nowhere else?
It will never work unless you use eye tracker.
your eyeballs arent a camera lense you stupid Black person homosexual that's not how your eyes work
DOF and Chromatic Abberation are both shit
CA especially because it looks like shit and the only people that like it are people that have really bad vision
chromatic abberation is so fricking bad, I can understand what depth of field and bloom etc can bring as an artistic thing but wtf why CA it doesn't make any sense and it looks so fricking bad always.

I will never understand why in the frick they added a setting for an effect that actual photographers do everything they can to get rid of.
CA makes the most sense when it's diagetic imo, like when your eyes are implants in cyberpunk etc
Only game I ever left CA on was Alien Isolation because it fit well with the analog/70s tech aesthetics of the game.
Utter trash along with Depth of Field.
Garbage that I always disable.
Usually turn it to low if it's not per-object. No problem with DoF or other stuff if it's not too overblown, helps with immersion.
My main complaint with DoF is that sometimes it can flicker or be super shallow, I wish there were strength settings for it
>chromatic abberation
I still don't know what this shit is supposed to do lmao.
>chromatic abberation
I always turn that shit off except for racing games.
I usually turn it off, but it's not as bad as DoF
